I think this is the height of insensitivity, Tinubu who is campaigning for votes to be the president of Nigeria through the platform of the ruling APC party,has continued in the culture of impunity and gross disregard of the poor masses the APC is known for.

Go and ask Afenifere who presented him as their governorship flagbearer ahead of 1999 polls after him prostrating before late Pa Adesanya, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, etc to run. All the ministers are appointees, and they have to resign their posts. Whether appointee or elective, they should are to resign their positions in order to campaign.

Following the formal declaration of VP Yemi Osibanjo, a source close to the VP's office who disclosed to us on the condition of anonymity states that the game plan here is that if APC tries to deny Tinubu the ticket, Osibanjo will be fallen back as the candidate. The source says that it was a plan for both of them to declear so that the presidential position will finally come to their camp. I think the Court of Appeal have said the attorney general shouldn't expunge the said section in the electoral act so we are expecting mass resignation soon.
