Living below $1.90 cannot be used as a standard because that's relative to where you reside. For someone who lives in the village, and is a farmers, he may not be seeing those cash on daily basis but net worth is more than that by the time he harvests and does the tabulation. And he doesn't starve. A large portion of Nigerians are farmers. So, that $1.90 can only be used to judge those who live in the town. As for me that spends most of my time in my village, how often do I need to buy anything? Is it not when I need something and I cannot afford it, that I say I am poor?

There's is a vacuum ... irresponsibly created by the apparent reluctance of the past & current FG to curtail the growing security threat posed by herdsmen to lives and property in many parts of the country.

People, who are reckoning that without the reassuring protection of the state, their survival depends on defending themselves by any means necessary.

So instead of reacting to a symptom ... the government should tackle the threat, so that besieged citizens and innocent herdsmen alike are not unfortunately consumed in this inferno.

the fulanis are not at war with any ethnic group. The problem is that people who hate Buhari have decided to extend that hatred to his ethnic group. And the fulanis have refused to educate their people, hence their stories are being told by people who hate them. I know a few of them in my school and they are very brilliant. You are governing Taraba state and the chief security officer of the state, what have you done to secure the state beyond hiring thugs to kidnap and kill people from other tribes to Stoke up conflicts? A local government chairman you appointed was arrested after some thugs were arrested going to dump bodies in an area to trigger a conflict and he was implicated, that case has never been heard of again because it's the responsibility of the state to prosecute him

Everyone should rise up and speak against the evil of fulani herdsmen now. If there have ever been a time we need well meaning Nigerians, especially of the South West extraction to speak up, it is now. We need to rebuke this evil that the fulani herdsmen have taken too far.
