RomanceRe: Male Or Female Friends, Who Do U Have More? by Zandra1(f): 12:03am On Apr 03, 2008
Seems to me like almost everyone thinks that females are drama. If females are drama then it means that quite a nos of guys on this 'dramaland' are females posing as guys. LMGAO cheesy. Way too many drama I tell ya cheesy. I know some guys will be sharpening their knives and gathering up big stones to stone me but I will kill y'all first b/f y'all get to me. *Chewing my kettle corn like a lady and smiling mischievously*. Tihehe cheesy cheesy.

@ topic, I have only 2 female friends that I trust while the rest of my closest friends are guys. I have female associates though. The problem with some females is that they pretend way too much and I effing hate that. I know some casual female friends that even when they are boning '100' guys they would be pretending and calling others sluts. I know that the mentality of many Nigerians is that women should all be virgins but heck, if u eff and dont wunna talk about it, pls let others that eff enjoy themselves peacefully (as long as cheating isnt involved). A guy will manage to bone only 1 girl in a year and tell u he boned '300' girls but some girls will bone '300' guys a year and swear that they would remain virgins till they get married. Quite pathetic.

Also, I have more of guys as friends b/c though they might flirt with me at times, they (at least my guy friends) dont compete for attention like some foolish girls would. They dont degrade each other all in the name of seeking my (or a beautiful girl's) attention. I can be myself with them and say whatever I wunna say without anyone drawing in a sharp breath or gasping for air beside me. They are very fun and cool to hang out with. They would help u genuinely when u have problem without announcing it to the whole world. They can be very honest with u once they're comfortable with u. My 2 female friends are cool like the guys.
RomanceRe: What Trips You The Most About Your Hubby? by Zandra1(f): 10:30pm On Apr 02, 2008
@ yomicious, don't worry. By God's grace u will get a wonderful guy.

@ ono, thanx for your good wishes.

@ almondjoy, thanx for your good wishes. Am glad your husband's name starts with an N and not an A cause only God knows what would've happened cheesy.

The age difference is really a big plus in our marriage cause he baby's me a lot. Also, he points out my mistake to me without being a father to me.

Tihehehe. . . am glad that he understands that he's not my father ooo and that am not his mother or daughter cheesy. I don't want that kind of marriage. You know that in some r/ships, when a guy is older than his lady with 6 years for e.g, the way they 'act' might cause an outsider to think that its a 'father and daughter' r/ship cheesy.

I must confess that at first I was shy and a little bit nervous about being married at 20. Then, I used to tell my hubby that I still wanted to have 'fun' but he would be like "Nne, I would wait for u as long as u want but please know that married people do have fun" grin. In my sophomore year, I had a lebanese friend that was married at 20 and was shocked when she told me. I could never have imagined that I would join the band wagon a year later cheesy. All the same, we're very happy and blessed, and we pray that it lasts forever kiss.

@ almondjoy, thank u very much. A huge amen to ur prayer/wishes towards us. I really appreciate that kiss. I strongly believe that we can make it. Am happy that I have a wonderful mother and aunty that can always guide and advice me on certain things. I also believe that God that joined us two together would always see us thru.

@ ono, I'll be 21 this summer, and he's 8 years older than I am.

We dated for 2 years.
RomanceRe: What Trips You The Most About Your Hubby? by Zandra1(f): 5:58pm On Apr 02, 2008
@ ono, thank u. A journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. Those that a married for 60 years started by being married for one day till . . . . We take each day one at a time as it comes. I would also want u to know that marriage has no formula. What works at Mr. A's house doesnt have to work for Mr. B. Anyways, with God, our love for each other and our determination, all is well  cheesy.

"At the initial stage (the first few weeks and months) you won't see much of the type of person you got married to".

I agree that marriage is d/f from r/ship but I don't agree with your statement above. Not much has changed from when we were dating till now except that the love is deeper cause he believes that we're one now. To him, I wont wake up one day and decide to leave unlike when people are dating that anything might happen. I agree that one might change for the worse after marriage but there are people that dont. No one prays to have a bad marriage. Life is full of chances and if u dont try u wouldnt know if things would have been good or bad. If I didnt 'see' the type of person he was, I wouldnt be 20 years old and married.

Am at work so some of what am writing is . . . . .  cheesy.
RomanceRe: What Trips You The Most About Your Hubby? by Zandra1(f): 4:37pm On Apr 02, 2008
@ ono, its not a fairy tale but reality ooo cheesy. We have misunderstandings too but there are too many things about him that are very lovely. I met him in 2005, the fall semester of my fresman year in college. We started dating in February of 2006 but I kissed him on New Year b/f we began dating. Please don't ask me y  wink. We dated for 2 years and got married last month. All the stuff I wrote were incidents from when we began dating till now. He's an angel I tell ya. I believe and know that we're blessed to have each other kiss  cheesy.

@ 4Him, thanx. He's blessed to have me too  wink.

RomanceRe: Managing Anger In Relationships by Zandra1(f): 1:00am On Apr 02, 2008
I control and mind what I say by closing my eyes and taking a very deep breath. He'd keep quiet for a few secs or mins. Then we'd talk about it. No one leaves the house or sleeps till its settled cause the next day is a brand new day so no hassles from the day before. We try not to raise our voices at each other when having any misunderstanding and it works like magic once u get used to it. It helps u resolve ur misunderstanding much easier and faster. U might even end up hugging or giving each other a kiss after the 'wronger' apologizes to the 'wrongee' cause its easier for u to realize ur mistake when no yelling is invoved. Once in a while I'd raise my voice, but I hate when I do that. Still working on it. . . . still working on it.

See their faces cheesy. Yes am talking to u, u and yes u, infact all o' y'all. Imagine what y'all would've told your parents if as y'alls peeping session was going on, a block or a tree branch fell on any of y'alls neck and broke it cheesy. LMGAO cheesy. By the way, the stories were funny.
RomanceRe: My Boy Friend Want Us To Get Married But: by Zandra1(f): 12:14am On Apr 02, 2008
Poster, I must say that uve really tried by staying in a r/ship for six years. I know I cant do it cause I might be bored as hell so I commend u for that. Anywhoo, it depends on how strong or weak ur r/ship is with ur b/f. As long as ure over 18 and ready for marriage, I dont see anything wrong in being married while still in college. Besides, tell us ur age cause if ure 21 for e.g, I would say that since u sound so not-wunna-get-married-now, that u tell ur b/f to give u some time to be 'unmarried' till ure maybe 23 to 25. Oh, what am I saying!! u guys have already been together for 6 years. Oh Jeez, I dont know what to say. Infact, how old are u? Be back lerra with a berra advice.

RomanceRe: What Trips You The Most About Your Hubby? by Zandra1(f): 9:52pm On Apr 01, 2008
@ almondjoy, when I read your write up I was shocked. It's like u were describing my husband and myself to a 'T' cheesy. My friend just left my room a few mins ago after eating the food my hubby cooked for me and she was amazed at how good the food was. I hardly cook and he cooks like 98.9% of the time and enjoys doing it. He also serves me breakfast in bed. A 'casual' chauvinist friend of his (that once asked me out before I met my husband) that once came to our house was so 'shocked' that my hubby does the cooking that I thought the guy was gunna have a panic attack. Finally he was like ''wow, 'A' really loves u oo''. Honestly, its really weird. Please don't tell me your husband's first name also starts with an A and ends with E cause I'd be so spooked out that I'll just . . . . . shocked cheesy .

@ topic, He is the master of surprise. He surprises me in the loveliest ways e.g he picked me up from school on the weekend and when we got home he was like "Babe, I heard you last week when you said u wanted to eat 'this' so I made it for you". At times I shed tears of joy when I see how much he does to make me very happy and satisfied. He's very open to me, very sincere and honest. Its touching the way he's very generous and kindhearted. He's been so good to my family. He's so forgiving and selfless. The way he babys me so much. I can't remember the last time I cut my nail myself or applied my nail polish myself cause he does them for me. If he sees me combing my hair he'd be like "Sweetie come here let me comb it for u" kiss. The way he calls me when we're apart or send me lovely texts. The way he always shows me love irrespective of the person/people around. The way he admits when he's wrong and apologizes. He is very understanding and patient- he knows am still very young and that am still learning. The way he takes wonderful care of me and looks out for me. The way he calms me down. His jokes- some of them can be corny at times and the way he laughs while telling them makes them even funnier cheesy. The way he calls me so many sweet names and not just one. He's cute and has the sexiest eyes I've ever seen.

How could I forget how happy he was when finally, he was ' 100% sure' that I was his. I'd never seen him that happy before. He was sooooo happy and danced so much. Everyone was 'infected' with his happiness. He laughed and said, "now, your family can't tell me to give them back their daughter cause ure mine forever. Obim, I'll always love and cherish you till I die and I mean it from the depth of my heart. Its a vow Ive taken before my God and in my heart. Please never forget that cause I never will". He smiled but I was busy crying, tears of joy that is kiss. He was really sweet while we were dating but now his love for me gets deeper and sweeter day by day. E.t.c. Oh, and the way he makes love to me or when we eff. . . . total bliss. I totally love it. So nutritious, enriching and satisfying cheesy wink. Also, I love doing my best for him cause he deserves it. I baby him a lot too and the very few times I cook, I make sure the food is mucho delicioso. I look up recipes on the internet and surprise him with the food. Am so happy that I know he loves me cause though friends and family tell me that, I already know so deep down in my heart cause he not only tells me he loves me, but he also shows me deep and sincere love. There's no doubt that he's the best in the whole wide world. I'll forever bless God for giving me a man like him kiss.

Whew!, I know its very long but I can't help it cheesy. Enjoy.
