I served in Lagos. Finished last year. Wasn't bad at all, if u overlook traffic and cost of living on the island. Worked with a lovely offshore drilling company and enjoyed some perks. Overall, it was a beautiful experience. But life in Lagos is really hard and the traffic is so annoying. Also the agbero culture can be overwhelming for someone being der for the first time. Anyways, jst try and enjoy urself cos derz never a dull moment in Lagos! |
Transocean Support Services, VI Lagos. Batch B 10/11. Got d most incredible offshore experience. |
Y'all shud make sure u have what it takes to get d woman of ur dreams coz its d energy u feed into d universe dat bounces back to u (like attracts like) ![]() |
How many grams make one instagram? hehehe |
I graduated from UNN. In my first year, I was in Isa Kaita hall and we were 6 in a room; 2 squatters, 2 legal occupants. Isa kaita is just modest, but very lively. In my 2nd year the school introduced the online system and scratch cards, so hostel allocation became better organized. I moved to Okeke hostel. Very clean, but had water problems. 3rd year I was in Mary Slessor hall, adjudged the best in UNN. I dunno if it still is. We were 4 in a very spacious room and I had the best roomies ever. Abundant water supply, proximity to classes and very comfy. In my final year, I moved to Awolowo hall. Cute 4-man room and very close to my dept. Water wasn't a problem too. But d male hostels are notin to write home about. Probably because d big boys stay in BQs and d hostels are mainly used by 1st and 2nd year boys. The PG hostel is new so its top class. But the thing is, first generation unis eg UNN and others r gonna have older and more dilapidated hostels cos of the rot in our educational systems. I hear accomodation in UNN is much better dan it was in my time |
Serious big thief chasing small thief. Smh |
This is why we'll never win another major beauty pageant again. Big thighs for Miss World? Ok o! |

@Acidtalk, I agree with u. No matter how liberal minded Igbos get to b, e neva reach to marry outside d tribe. Most are so traditional, its so annoying. @Op, ofcos yes! U r young, strong, educated and err..fertile. Lol. Fortune will soon smile on you, and not d bad fortune again. But I'll advise building a relationship with someone u have more in common with next time |
Man was NEVER made for laws. Go figure |

I really can't stop laughing |
Happens yea.. |
There are thousands of Igbos married to non-Igbos. I'm Igbo myself so I know. We may be very traditional when it comes to marriages, but I know we are open hearted and welcoming. Nobody should be seizing ur fiance's passport in this era just because he wants to marry you. He should have a very long talk with his people. He's a grown ass man, and should fight for what both of u have, if he loves you just as much as you love him. Unless his father's brothers have something against him or had something against his father, I see no reason why they should behave this way |
Why does thieving bastard No 3 look like he's doing the peace sign? |
This man should be in jail rotting away for all the treasonous statements he's bn making. I just don't understand this country at all. How do people like this go scott free and people who take N20 imprisoned? We need to check our heads in this country |
I think its not bad if you put in all jobs u assisted in. It is well known that fresh graduates doing NYSC for example, don't automatically start managing a project even after a year. I think its better to put them all in instead of lying and saying stuff u ddnt do |
