Hello all,,pls I need your your assistance or advice on how to recover my money 1.5m that I paid for a slot to an officer for immigration job,is past 2yrs now and I have gotten nothing but empty promises,
Pls redirect me if there's a thread for it,,@husseni and others that has been a tremendous help to this thread pls o come to my aid,, what's the effective way I can take to get my money back

Money like this is gone. You can report to the police/efcc/icpc but the case can be turned around on you in the form of bribery. Or you can just try to threaten him with thugs but that can also be harassment.

P. S.: When I scream that people should be wary of job slots peddlers, it's to avoid stories like this.

Alhamdulillah I have been shortlisted for physical screening and certificate verification in respect of the ongoing NIS recruitment. However, I don't feel comfortable whenever I think of how I invested my financial resources and the stress of studies to acquire a professional certificate i.e. ACA that may not be relevant to the service.

Please based on your experience are we to shave our beard?

Its very crucial for a friend of mine trying to choose between NDLEA and a Commission under Fed Min of Edu.

Last week he was offered an Appointment with the Commission under Fed Min of Edu.
With GL 9/2 but amount of the salary was not mention..

Secondly.. Just yesterday he received a text from NDLEA to go to Abuja for Interview/Screening on 17 June.
NB: his name was not on the list Shortlisted on PDF

Please could anyone help us by stating which among the two Agencies has more advantages than the other in terms of good working atmosphere, salary, career progression, allowances, bonuses and etc..

NDLEA is a security outfit. You need to be rugged and be prepared to be in a shootout during your career as you would face drug dealers. UBEC is far safer as you would deal with teachers and students.
But you know what they say" no risk no reward". I would choose NDLEA though.

They do swap names. Especially if the secretary finds out that such person has no back up or the connect is not strong. They will just swap or replace ur name sharp sharp.

For everyone that believes so much in "payment after documentation", remember that fake apls and fake documentation happen often in Abuja. You get your "APL" and undergo documentation but you will only realize it's fake when it's time to resume. You don't have to listen to me but understand the risk involved in what you are about to do and be safe.

Concerning the shortlisted for NSCDC and Immigration, the fact is that they are just fooling people. All those shortlisted may likely make it as merit. A particular influential rep submitted 10 people and non was shortlisted. When he contacted the ogas He was told the shortlist is just a formality. His candidates will make the final list. This is the major reason why they did not publish names but created a search portal.

Concerning DSS: Some people were contacted but all are ND and NCE. I don't know what is going on. DSS is very secretive, even in the organization only top guns know about recruitment and they will never open up for you.


Concerning IPPIS delay: Most organizations run to share APLs without following the normal processes. So, they have to follow the process before they are captured. Most organizations shared APL without approval from finance which usually take months before approval. When I see APL here most of the time, the moment I contact IPPIS they will say that particular organization has not gotten approval yet.

Tbh, I hope the government handles one of you slot peddlers with all your fake news. Every slot in Nigeria needs the highest connection to get but an anon page that happens to sell slots can get it for you. Anybody that falls for this nonsense should not come crying when they are scammed. And they will be.

So much for the "Greater Majority". The APC will choose the leaders of both houses, regardless of whatever moves the opposition plans.

Trust Nigerians to complain about everything. The website crashed for a while due to traffic and the NDLEA announced it and fixed it shortly after.

To the ones complaining about how easy the questions are, I'm sure you would have complained if the questions were difficult. It was a test to see the applicants' ability to read and write. It's not everything you paint black.
