kazuna:Err seen... The problem I actually the drop of the right shoulder....try to get anyone around you to strike that pose it will help....its a few inches away than it should be...so the view from the other side makes the hand look "unhandy". Check out for Mohammed agbadi and ifesinachi orjiekwe on deviant art.... |
BABANGBALI:and so? So if she no born pikin she s less of a woman? I laugh... Oga everyman and im cross o.... You are not perfect and some things are beyond your control...marriage is not and shouldn't be for marriage sake or soceity....na still d same Una dry insult baby mamas sae Dem spread leg upandan... Gagotos |
kenbee:You deserve to date a gurl that you will buy a mansion for and then will run off and marry another man.... Its the heart that matters....say you think say you rich pass the guy no mean....after all this is the publicized gift.....you no know how many other things e dun buy for her before now.... |
comeandmarry:Haha and the same Nigerian will still say "this buhari time- Baba God help us"....is that statement not akin to saying "send down the rain" like majek sang decades ago? You see what m saying ![]() That is why those songs will outlast the biggest hit of whoever your best musician is right now..... Don't chastise people with that money talk....if majek wants money he can go to so many places you wouldn't be allowed access to simply through his music...dont knock his hustle with "he ain't getting no money". Jay z getting money and nas ain't... But illmatic has outlasted everything jay z has done....because jay went after the money which is good but you can't eat your cake and have it....nas kept it real from the world go.... People who put jay in their top 5 do so because of commercial success, nas contributed more to the artform itself..... Majek has contributed more to Nigerian and African music than whoever you listen to these days....until that person's career dies he will never touch majek's level...and that s word.... Dont divert everything into money....keep your soul....somethings are priceless... Majek has toured the whole world, been to places you can only imagine, met with people you can only imagine...he isn't stupid to still be singing songs of suffering..... I'm sure if fela was alive most of you will say this old man we dun taya for your noise.....but because he is dead and most of your favorite musicians doing garbage saying fela is their influence you also praise fela in your mind....but m sure he is turning in his grave at what people are doing in his name.... Fela was using the car federal people use to show off to pack firewood, he had money and ddnt lack it...married how many wives ? Yet he kept singing "light no dey", food no dey" water no get enemy etc etc etc..... That is why you can call him a legend today. Majek is a legend, simply because you are hereto witness his drug struggles doesn't make him less of one..... |
kazuna:Yea but a hand on the other of the body should appear generally smaller when in view from this point... Also hence you are actually modeling, if the two hands are the same size then it shouldn't appear this way.... because this appearance shows that right hand is even bigger than the left. |
Omeny:What Seriously m jst surprised .... God na ur strength ooo |
comeandmarry:That's the major difference between legends and temporary stars... Legend sing about truth and there is no truth without pain.... Fela etc all sang about suffering, bob Marley sang about suffering lucky dube sang about suffering tupac sang about suffering and its those songs that will continue to resonate for ages to come because they are real.... The feel good happy songs will come and go as quickly as they come....even the best love songs have to do with suffering.... Micheal Jackson's "we are the world" what do you think it was about? If u are any slightly involved in art you will realize there is a higher calling than money....money solves all problems but having it along cannt and will never satisfy you.... You want something more, something intangible, something beyond materialism, you think Mohammed Ali boxed for the money? Or Lionel messi plays for money? This mentality of "cashing out" is the reason why Nigeria has garbage in its music scene and the music can't last as much as those of fela..... Majek isn't complaining....asa too sings about suffering.....but you can't say she isn't cashing out.... I know its people like you who would've advised Timi dakolo to beta make club songs I he ever wants to eat...... The moment an artist sells his soul for riches, he siezes to be legendary....he siezes to be held in the light of a legend for his art sake.... That's what happened between tupac and biggie..... Till date pac's songs about hardship and suffering are what makes him a more compelling charcater to study... Big wanted millions, Pac wanted to be a legend till the end of tym and once you want that yes you definitely want cash but you can't start tweaking ur art to make money and totally lose sense of what the music should be about..... People on the streets and in real time connect to songs about suffering....party can't last for a whole day.... You think somebody like dangote listens to "baby carry me go " in his quiet time? NO! HE probably listens to bob Marley lucky dube etc....people that placed themselves as soldiers for the people through their art..... Desist from this money mentality.... If money was the sole aim of all inventors you wouldn't have a phone....to even type or tweet or know what it means to be online. People who push fields farther money is secondary to them....they want to be Gods....30yrs to come 90% of the musicians u see today will be long forgotten but majek WILL be remembered even if its through a few songs.... Go back and listen to don Williams, Kenny Rodgers etc..... Majority of their works are about life's travails.... Club bangers may entertain for a while, life songs last for eternity.enough said |
Ighoga898:New York no be one street o. But even at that the beauty of a place doesn't reflect the totality of the standard of living there...especially in America.... |
Mackson01:Hmm u dey surprise me o.... Where are you from? People have sex while their own parents are in the house and you are telling me patients dont hav closed door sessions with doctors? Especially as he is a gynecologist, vagina matter are private oooo. Definitely he is alone with most of his patients except when he needs a nurse to get some drug or help do smthing... Na WA o |
Omeny:Utc shut down? Omg! |
Omooba77:Is he even a sapien? Iono how some people dey reason... That guy na muntula. |
Beats my imagination how none of these happened under Jonathan and immediately apc came stupid people have eagerly gobbled up the lies that its jonathan's fault.. if it was then why did everything "suddenly slide" immediately the Fulani came in?? I can remember electricity being at its peak 6 months before and during elections.... Now nothing.... Good luck carry wire abi plant run ![]() Reality; your country is sinking.... Best bet; personal prayer Outcome; Libya season 2.... |
Hahaha heiya...sorry Nigeria..... Nobody should better complain! The grass is always greener on the other side! Oya na Goodluck dey corrupt abi?! Welcome to irony! 1. Clueless government 2. Similarly corrupt. What excuse do they have now....? What excuse? These power thirsty people are still looking for a way to get more powers through a bill to national assembly...... Libya part 2 is going to happen in this country.... ! We are coming soon!... To end all this b.s |
Oh so all of a sudden somebody got the idea to start taping videos? *sniff the air* Do you perceive it? Scam! This propaganda will not work.... Throwig bombs in random forests claiming to have killed terrorists will not work... The military need to.focus its fire power and stop looking for support from the same bloody civilians they brutalise at every slightest opportunity.... Everybody has a job..... Military operations should be covert and only revealed when kill is confirmed..... You are announcing to the whole world that you now hav jets...what do you think boko haram will do? Come out in plain sight? Keep hiding in the forest? Keep your enemy clueless about your weapons.....that way you have the element of surprise on your side.... Wordup |
themejiwalker:Heritage? What he was talking about is crowd control...well except the crowd is going to be included in the video there is no point.... Nigerian-ness doesn't mean one should be proud of being backward.... What he meant is American videos actually have "concepts", these concepts keep those videos memorycard-worthy for a long time....unlike in Nigeria where people just gather on the street and make noise..... Despite the crowded videos Nigerians still do not support their artistes enough is it not ironic?.... |
Hey nice works up there.... The right hand of the lady looking up at a dragon should be smaller....(perspective/foreshortening) than the left hand clearly seen.... And for that head the torso is a bit too long.... Good job tho. Imteresting |
kazuna:lol. I go join una soon for 3d sculpting.... |
kazuna:Nobody is perfect but when you learn to draw without erasing anything, then you learn to paint without misplacing brush strokes....but if however the unplanned happens, my approach depends on the medium I am using if its ; 1. Oil- wait for it to dry before readjusting. 2. Acrylic- " " " 3. Watercolour - quickly apply water there and dissolve the color, clean it off with a clean cloth or blow it off.... But then the small brush u see in my watercolour is the only brush I use for watercolour so lets just say the brush dun get sense overtime. But I mostly work with watercolour and acrylic....and they are unforgiving to mistakes....so I subconsciously consciously stay loose, bring in creativity with the painting not adhering too much to the subject details in that manner I stay totally in control of what happens. |
Ttrrffyyghuuh:Honoured to brotherly. ThankGod for everything. .. Errr get to work!
|
omenka:shut it! |
.. @Ttrrffyyghuuh Also Avoid Duplicating other artist works rather try their techniques or replicate their colors in your own work. l... Good luck! Godbless |
.@Ttrrffyyghuuh Err Alot appreciated. Thanks Iwas introduced to drawing by my dad....used to take me outside to draw simple stuff cars, trees etc during leisure time....this was actually in nursery class (no kidding) so I picked the interest since then and ran with it to this day. Offered it in secondary school although it was only theory until ss2 3rd term when we got a serious teacher... I chose to study it in the university too tho by then I hadn't painted anything....through out my first year we didn't do any painting....but my secondary school teacher did a lot to giv us drills in drawing jst taught us techniques every other thing I do was learnt from personal practice.... Had to stay back in school during the long session break that preceded 200level just so I could try my hand on painting and all that....so I pushed myself to the limit....found people like veri apriyatno and ibe ananaba and used them as my inspiration....did not copy their works but I tried out their techniques on my works..... At a point yes I did anatomy studies but not as deep as some of my friends who were more into character designing. But I studied and put in extra time..... The most important time in drawing is when you are not drawing....iill explain that later..... There is no special knowledge attached to measuring proportion or all that like I said its what you do when you are not drawing that tends to be the difference....something has to interest you enough to want to get it correctly...... All my works are drawn from scratch some I don't even draw I just start working from d eyes down and around till I finish....because of training and subconscious awareness of proportion no matter hw big the drawing is.... It can never be perfect of course but it should be close...... And then feeling also matters learn to listen to yourself and dont force it, you have to love what you are doing or the character you are trying to put out ..... It shldnt just be another drawing it should be THE drawing...... Be open to try out different techniques...... When you sit gisting with people look at their face and body features and the way light strikes them in the subconscious movements and expressions...... Some of my university drawings are highly detailed biro drawings...of the environment down to the stones but I don't have the portfolio at the moment (working on getting it back). So try out different mediums....n see what you enjoy.... Lecturers dont teach you anything, the good ones guide you anyway because nobody has time to sit down and start explaining anything... The human anatomy can be studied jst by looking at people and different parts of their body....anatomy books help but Iv never owned one.... In all its God who blesses....just apply yourself enough....you will definitely get there if you draw more when you are not drawing I.e study people everywhere you go...once In a while do detailed drawings...not too detailed anyway... Study more roundish objects....the human is basically a rounded character with no sharp angles.... You can check your proportions by 1. Checking how wide each eye is compared to each other, the space between the eyes and the reference you are drawing from 2. The nose is round, work on it as a rounded object, dont just create light and dark contrasts sharply...they should graduate into each other. To master tonal gradation you nid to do dark to light and light to dark shading on a full cardboard sheet maybe twice a week to come to grasp with the slower movement of light on a round object. Also how wide the nose is compared to the eyes should be checked. 3. Draw harder things, dont look for easy references...look for challenging things....thimgs that will discourage you but encourage yourself thru it.. 4. The width of the face should checked with the width of the jaw.. 5. Do individual studies of body organs.... 6. Keep watching the videos you are already watching if you say I am better than them then you are watching the wrong videos... Look for Jeremy Mann and Sebastian Kruger, ignat ignatov, any other links you see on their page, click it. There are so many artists... Check for dan luvisi, Dave rapoza though these are digits guys but they help a whole lot because they are also gurus at manual stuff. |
D guy dun retire ooooo . He has his team with jhim n sure he can't get caught napping...no be tiger woods or naija music stars...... He sure knows how to detect crap n not get unwanted bab....or diseases.... Plus na Brazil o. Their gurls dont connive....unlike America.....that's why American athletes are the way they are. @innovator |
