Please 🥺 I need advice. Since I graduated from University of Benin in 2011, I have not had a good job. I also have a Masters degree from same Uni. I reside in Warri in Delta State. I also own a diploma in theology, that means have been to bible school. Have been teaching in different private schools since 2011. Am 34 now will be 35 in few months time. Lots of people are putting pressure on me to get married but I am scared I can't sustain a family with my meagre private school teacher's salary. Am considering relocating to Abuja to see if I could get a better life with my credentials. I don't know how life really is over there? If I could get a better job? even if it's a good private school that pays well. What's the cost of accommodation? Am just trying to take a leap of faith. Though it seems late, but better late than never. I just feel a change in environment would be better because help is not forth coming from anywhere. I could also work as a pastor in a church if I can get accommodation. Someone please help me I need counsel. Thank you in anticipation 🙏. I have been thinking 🤔 too much lately. Seems like am running out of time cos most of my mates are already married and settled. Help a brother. Am Esan by tribe but born and brought up in Warri. Should I just rent a small house in Warri and be managing things or I should relocate to Abuja ? Or even Lagos? I know I am brilliant because I graduated with a second class upper grade with a 4. Point CGPA in biochemistry. I can speak fluently and can defend my certificate but have not been really lucky with jobs. Have spent t fare attending different interviews in Lagos in the past I had to give up and stop coupled with he fact that the age factor isn't on my side anymore.

Why not consider Amazon kdp. Find someone to teach you, it may cost you around 15k for the training. And within two month, you should be earning around 700 to 1000 dollars per month that should sustain you very well.

Depending and I don’t even make money grossing $988k. This is due to the fact I have dedicated lanes. Typically, a full truck ( Semi + trailer ) gross $15k - $20k weekly. Now let’s make the calculations.

A Full truck will make atleast $3000- $4000 doing long haul of 10hrs -12hrs depending on the rate. If you are taking $2 minimum per mile.

Nigerian truck experience is different from US experience. There things you need to know here that you don’t know in Nigeria. The DeF system, 5th wheel, spreading of axles and how to drive during winter, following the ELD and traffic signs, weigh stations and how to spread your weight. Remember each loaded FTL is 80,000lbs. And how to use the Air ride system

I will advise you to learn how to drive it in Nigeria, come over here and enroll in a 3 weeks school to learn and write the exam then get your CDL and work briefly for major carriers like CR England, Jb hunt and others. It will cost you atleast $5k to enroll and get your CDL.
