Someone told me yesterday that he's using 3 pcs of battery for his solar.
I argued but he insisted that his tubular batteries are 3 pcs and he has been using them for 1 yr now.
How possible is this information and how will the configuration look like?

If it's by email or Whatsapp, then it's fake. It's one of their tactics to cajole their debtors into paying. They will even create fake police documents summoning the debtor to a police station. This is to create fear in the debtor to go and pay.

Those guys show me pepper in 2020. Them call my mama for village. Them message my pastor and my younger ones sef. They declared me wanted by efcc ontop 21k. I lost my phone on a journey and couldn't get the app to pay back. I was faithful until then because I was trying to build up to a higher loan about. Chai! Draw the budget let's see, you people don't know in Nigeria these things are not 2 + 2= 4.
Some families might have help elsewhere, one family member that supports once a while etc. The country is tough. Like I said it's not everyone that will live life like a youth corper. U look at the person's lifestyle.
Monthly transportation budget now is clocking around 100k. We have not added food, talkles of sch fees, etc. Country is getting tough. May it be soft for us.

5kwh per day is poor for 8 x 320w panels...you should be averaging above 8kwh daily.

2ndly what I asked was max average instantenous, its in kw, not kwh...................................... since you have 8 x 320watts = 2560w, if the panels are good and wiring&setup is good, and you have enough load or battery isn't full...you shud be seeing above 1700w on a bright sunny day

Good morning house.We want to do an upgrade for the solar set up in my house.Currently the set up comprises of-
5kva pure sine wave inverter
60amps epever tracer mppt charge controller
4 pcs 220ah gel battery
8 pcs of 320w mono panels (connected in parallel on opposite roof tops of the house)

My installer is suggesting we buy 4 more pcs of the 320watts panels to add to our current set up.

That makes it 320w *12pcs which totals 3840watt
I have asked the installer if it won't be too much,but he said it is okay.

Pls what's your opinion on this cos i assume the manufacturer has maxed the rated charge power at 3000w as seen in the guide below.

Also many pcs of the 320w panels can we add to get a faster charge considering the existing set up we already have?Are we safe to go on with the upgrade or we should stick to keeping it at 3000w rated charge power stated below?

You can increase above 3kw especially if you are not using tier1 panels. Your 3kw doesn't give you 3kw. If you increase above let's say 4kw, you will be closer to achieving 60a from ur cc. Secondly you will harvest more with low sunshine, sunrise or sundown.
You would be fine as long as you don't exceed 150v. So just stick to your 3 in series for your 320w and you will be fine

My rent is average rent for where i stay, its a two bed flat, i use the other room for home office..

Feeding is N2,000/day.. its not anything out of the ordinary.. tried cooking and spent more with time wasting.

Fuel for car is at the new rate of N500/ltr, my car is a 70ltr car tank..

Auto maintenance is basic brake pads, shocks, service 2mths, tire guage, police pr, tire purchase if any, minor touch ups etc... nothing major.

Fuel for generator is 20ltr/day (2hrs or less daily)

In as much as people will say you spend too much, we should not forget you have your own standards which is ok. You are not expected to live like a youth corper or office secretary. You are a big boy.
The only this I will advice is you cut your rent and also your car maintenance(if car is problematic then get anoda one). get a mini flat. You can comfortably save around 60k to 70k monthly.
Secondly put more effort on your side hustle.
Increase your earnings.

You just have to be deliberate about saving. Look at it this way. You are single and work from home sometimes, then a mini flat should be enough for you.
You can't be spending so much on fuel for generator and car at same time. Its either you work from home most of the time that's why you need fuel hereby spending lesser for car or vice versa.
As for feeding its just too much, if you can spend 4500 monthly on subscription to watch TV,then you can create time to cook some basic meals for yourself. There are many places you can get food at a cheaper rate. With 30k ,you can get some tubers of yams,plantain, soup ingredients and more that could last you for two months get someone to cook stew and soup for you,refrigerate it while you boil rice or make EBA for yourself. At least you should know how to boil yam.
The data and airtime can be cut to half that amount. If it's not necessary, don't call.
Cut down on your outings.
Once in a while, when you're home,starch and iron your clothes yourself. You just have to be intentional about cutting down some things. Best of luck.

The budget for clothing is small so I won't complain if he buys them monthly.
He should reduce the rent. If you have a problem with this then I will doubt if u r an adult.

Inverters can't be exempted from the effects of time. My growatt spf 5000es is 1year 6months today without any issue from constant 24/7 use and periodic abuse of OL

U need a current limiter and properly sized ac breaker to prevent overload.

Around 18k will sort it for you including enclosure.

Can inverters be run 24/7 without shortening it's life span. Please note I'm not talking about the batteries but the inverter itself.

They can last many years although some components can get bad due to shortcircuit , over current or over voltage. Replace them and you will be fine.
