You know, experience clearly states, don't surge those cheap inverters & you go ahead to market it with 3X surge power. That's wickedness. Let's call a spade a spade.

Most manufacturers of well built & expensive hybrid inverter state 2X surge power. The annoying thing is, you know the manufacturer of this inverter lied about this.

For such a cheap inverter, you boldly give assurance of 3X surge power. Your client believes you & will connect appliance that will surge 3X the capacity of inverter. Inverter dies, your cabals will come after your client saying "HE ABUSED THE INVERTER".

To prospective client, don't believe the 3X surge power. Remember, if anything goes wrong with the inverter, there is no service center in Nigeria. You will be on your own. My 2 cent.

Well said. They overestimate not just the economy, but their solution. I say this as someone that knows a few solution driven tech bros. This includes the UK one. He is also onto this fintech stuff and when he talks about it, na too much fancy words. I ask him a question and more fancy words.

He rolled out a service and when I was hyping it for him, a friend asked me, what are they doing differently? He did tell me what they are doing differently and I wonder how they plan no sustain no charges in Nigeria. Right now I am just observing him.

it is the FACT.

once i am buying anything from a fellow nigerian i already know there is a 50% chance the item in the sealed box may somehow be refurbished. i know i may not find out immediately. i know there is a chance my money will be wasted. i am forced to become an expert or researcher because i need to be able to tell if i am being sold a dud.

yesterday we bought a dc breaker for a project. there was a chinese clone and a schneider product. i told my guy in the field to go for the schneider. now in under 24 hours of use, the schnedier product [a fake] has failed. this is a recurring decimal, doing business in nigeria - people selling you fakes and then telling you stories after wards

but the most important thing, as always is not spoiling another mans hustle - the poverty mentality i referred to

About them been heartless, no lies. Naso I buy tv for oshodi arena for a customer ( I install cctv camera) on getting home, the tv get line for screen, immediately I carry am go back, this seller get mind dey tell me say if I want another tv(smaller in size) and it's not even smart like the one I bought, e say i go add 30k or wait till he go get money to repair that one and he'd call me to come carry it. I ask am when that go be, he said he doesn't know, haba. Naso I dey look cos I know if I should make a call that day, many things for spoil, and he will be the one to loose more, and dem sabi take eachother side, when you have issue with one, no matter how much explanation you made, dem go still side their neighbour, that's how stupid this guys are. You will end up been humiliated. I sha take style scope am, collect the smaller tv, without adding money, that's when I gave up in buying used electronics. I no dey even suggest am to my customer.

I would have contacted you on this earlier, just that the efficiency & surge rating is a bit low considering other things I intend to power when the pump is off (one inverter freezer, one normal freezer, one fridge with few lights, led tv).

I know we still have a deal just wanna set other things first!

Yh. D CC shows daily n and overall harvest on the small screen n d figures displayed are close to the actual tin. Though I av a watt meter in-between my CC n battery. The watt meter wattage reading is same as the figure in my BMS.

Depending on d result he got from the test. He can always buy one more authentic 330w or 350w. I once got 3 of these type of 400w thinking I jam lottery cause of the cheap price. Max av seen on my dc watt meter is 910w. None the less. My charge controller at times will show daily harvest of 4kw when I'm home using freezer tv n others. My battery dey full daily. So he should just zero his mind n get 1 more 330w panel if 600wh is not enough to charge his battery.

God bless you. I was going to type this b4 I read ur comment. People just throw different words, none has asked him to test the panels. Carry multimeter,test the volts and amps check if it's close to wats on the sticker. I'm sure u can't get 400w but if u get something around 330-350w it still ok for d price.

The problem is that a noob enters this space and wants to research online and discount the hard worn experience of savvy installers.

Even installers reach out to each other and to recognised subject matter experts for advise and support.

As you said, a competent installer can help deliver a good design and flawless execution and overcome obstacles that would have cost a starting DIYer a lot more money or stress or expensive mistakes.

In the end everyone has to choose their own path because there is a niche and market for each and every - from the penny pinching, poorly informed entry person to the fairly skilled DIYer who paid the price in initial hard lessons and mistakes to the seasoned and well trained professional who has broad experience and depth with various products - all will be alright last last.
