These are cheap lead acid Batteries, don't expect too much from them and the current you draw from them should be at minimum level.

You are right that is one thing I noticed about hybrid....they are sensitive to lightening and power surges. My felicity started malfunctioning after the first thunderstorm of last year, thankfully it was restored under warranty. Since then it has been working excellently well in the rain and sunshine.
Though, I learnt from that experience and had to make sure the system is adequately protected from thunder/power surges. That is the main weakness, but I will choose it over transformer-based inverter due to fast/better battery chargin and low idle watt consumption

Yes it needs to be protected. The hybrids are smarter too.

I did say the 'Axperts are failure prone' as you have confirmed they are easily damaged by surges and lightning due to an abysmal lack of any protection and poor electrical isolation in the internals

In processing a warranty claim you want to focus on the specific product issues e.g {'my inverter stopped charging properly, I have done X and Y but the situation did not improve'} and downplay any related circumstances e.g there was a thunderstorm in my area that may impair your claim - this was generic advise I gave.

You see that users needs to fix the bolded and let's us not confine the word failure prone to hybrids.
Your advice on warranty claims could be bastardized by Nigerians (u knw our people). genuine warranty claims could be axed later in future.

In general these Axpert type clones are very failure prone - that is why I do not like them.

If you purchased direct from China, reach out to the seller and they will usually send you a replacement board under warranty to fit it yourself - of course do not mention that you had a fuse burn out in your mains supply - just focus on the issue.

If you purchased locally then invoke the warranty or repairs support or take it to the Arena and Alaba folks for a fix - I would rather replace the entire board myself than let our average half baked repairer tinker with the board - IMAO electronics repair skills and standards in Nigeria are terribly poor.

Why shouldn't he report his fuse got burnt? You called the axpert a failure, I know many that have used axpert for years till today. We just want to hide our own fault and discredit others. What could have burnt his fuse, it means there's an issue somewhere and he should fix that otherwise it could happen again.
Hybrids are very sensitive to lightening and power surges from mains. Many don't have a proper earthing or thunder arrestor system in place.
