it's not only about the sweetness bro. canadian solar has proven its named over time and many
savvy hobbyists and installers have come to rely on it for quality. in yesteryears jinko was not really known
for great quality but i guess over time they might have upped their game - as most oems have done in recent
time. as for internet product comparisons, i would take such writeups with a pinch of salt because anybody
write can anything and cook up figures to promote an agenda.

I think this gives an impression that Canadian is a better PV than all panels including Jinko.... Which should not be the case. Have you put Jinko and Canadian side by side with same condition?

Funny coincidence. I just watched a Will Prowse You tube bifacial "Signature" brand solar panel review couple of minutes ago and I now see this post, about the first on this thread I think, about bifacial solar panel.

Na the installation go get problem sha. It has to be installed at a much higher level than the average regular panels and placed on a reflective/white surface in order to get the max out of it.

victron an baba , their war with fangpusun no start today..they also have a slow irreversible death bug, once you make the mistake of attempting to update your fangpusun...its gone .

sry I have no good news for you, try and save some money and buy powmr cc, cheap and gets the job done, its just 1 or 2 steps below fangpusun

fellow nairalanders pls come to my aid. i contacted a friend to purchase some pv modules.. Initial calculation was to get 300w*4 panels to charge a 4.8kwh lifepo4 battery.. Even the battery sef get e own story.. I am using an epever 30a 100v mppt controller

At first i didnt pay attention to what the panel was generating . But i later began to find out that the whole thing was not performing.. Pv modules are africell 300w.. According to my the installer whom i purchased the pvs from the connection was done in parallels. i was getting 29v 10-12a (pv input) during peak hours... This to me was unacceptable... even if there was a longer cable run because i leave down stairs (a storey building). When issues arose as to leakages on the roof i was determined to use the opportunity to check the panels . I borrowed a pv meter and the testing was done off peak hours on just one panel.. voltage and current were about 22v and 4.99a. which translated to 110w.

Now i changed the connection to 2series parallel 2 series.. My readings were sometimes 45/47v 5/6a, 50v/3a during peak period (pv input)...

I am beginning to think i was sold panels with stickers of questionable datasheet.. On a second thought if the panels were living up to expectations, the current in parralel was very close to my pv input current and the installer carried out the connection in parallel to the detriment of my controller.... E come be like say my journey into the solar industry na wrong entry

Please I want to ask, if I want to go off grid and in addition to other normal house hold lightings and TV, I want to use 3 AC (one 2HP and two 1.5 HP) will a 60Kw battery and 12kw solar panel be sufficient? The ac will mostly be used during the day when weather is hot and the two 1.5 hp throughout the night. And all other basic household things like water heater, fridge, freezer, microwave also in the house.

I agree with you about the solar option. Bought 6 panels in November. And I've forgotten about power outage during work hours. With the rains coming and reduced sunlight, production will go down. 2-4 hours of Gen at night to supplement should be more than sufficient for me
