imperiouxx: @gracemeryl,
Square65 said they filed for the adjustment few months before the actual class starts. So in order not to violate any immigration laws, I will suggest you go for more advise from your international advisor or if your spouse's F1 is still good, you may defer your admission to summer or fall. Going out of the U. S. is the last option. if you check USCIS website or even the school website, you must file for change ofstatus 1years before the start of class. if her spouse still got a valid visa, then she could chill for USCIS but if her spouse visa has expired, USCIS will not change her status, they will advice her to go back to nigeria |

innovativeame: Daft is an adjective, sir, but anger can transform any word to any part of speech that suits itself. That was why it was written in capital letters to show that it is a Proper Noun #DAFT#. It could actually be the name of a person though. English teacher |

seems its now twice ooo, a friend is having same problem Walspring: You are right about one payment for one interview of which we are all aware of it here.
But you are wrong for saying you cancel for the first time and you got a warning because you can cancel twice. If you get that error it seems there is system error at that moment or they just implement this new policy today 3rd of December 2014.
If am not wrong because someone still cancelled yesterday for the second time and the third attempt he will get the notice of warning and if the person accept it he forfeit the visa fee..
Maybe someone or you already canceled before and you cant recall that, you can check your appointment history it will show it there or maybe there was system error when you wanted to cancel or its a new policy started today 3rd of December 2014 as i said above.
To my best knowledge you can cancel twice and if you accept the third attempt the person will loose the visa fee. |

jenns: I have learnt a lot from this forum !!!.SAVE A CONFUSED LADY
My interview comes up soon but have been having problems getting another Original SSCE 2009 certificate from WAEC office. I had my original WASSCE result lost due to a fire incident in my apartment early this year & all effort to get a new one is taking endless processing. I have a photocopy of the Original certificate with me for now, Can I take the photocopy with a scratch card to the embassy? Should I take my ND certificate or my ND transcript to the embassy?
NB!!! I applied for an undergraduate program . well,,your waec certificate might be the only document the VO might ask because you are going for undergraduate. it takes less than a week for waec to process a new certificate. you should have gone to their office in yaba if you stay in lagos. although you need to pay a fee.since your interview is closer, have faith and go with back up documents |

Thanks to @justwise who created this forum for those who don't think before they reply.... She said Opinion ....#smh Check every post of @Walspring @Stevecrun @bigfrancis et al...those are who give opinions, they chip in their own suggestions if one aint doing it right which doesn't relate to criticizing...."Maybe na criticizing water dem use baff u wen u were born"-- you know why i wont insult you again, you are a uniform person 'policeman abi na custom officer or woreva" and you look old enough. its obvious you are pained, after all you figured out a school that wont accept GRE. have you ever thought about your poor score in GRE?and what you will tell the VO. i could remember all your posts here and i have never for once quoted you back. i will let this slide. oya take aspirin |

I tried cancelling for the first time and got a warning that I would have exceeded the allowed limit if I go ahead and would have to pay MRV fee to reschedule. Ensure you pay attention to every detail on the screen. ok , sorry |

justwise: Whoever wrote that article should be sacked for not including Canada as the new preferred destination for foreign students. Canada , i doubt. do you know the stress and time it takes to get Canada visa. they even go for medicals ad all sort and you do not even know your fate until you get your passport back. Canada visa takes patience but US visa can be gotten easily if you can follow simple rules and you also know your fate instantly plus some people can go with fake documents and still get the US visa. lastly the immigration rule in USA is easy. |

profojah: Maybe peepz on here should just sit and think deeply before answering or replying any post here....You are in US atm doesn't mean you know it all..some people just reply shabbily on another persons super-eminent post...and this make those who have reasonable questions or suggestions to void away just to avoid embarassmnt...
@zeezabeh or whatever...check and re-read @kwenu's post..he wasn't talking about been lazy to search for school. He was just elaborating on tuition fee ish and location....Mr A with a very high tuition can be granted a visa while Mr B with an extremely and extorbitanly low tuition can be denied...and he said maybe this can be helpful to others if we can disclose our tuition ...I strongly agree with him..even if I don't, I will just tryna say/chip in my own suggestion NOT to insult him like u did...and you always do this (rubbishing other peepz post) on countless time..even to @dotman2460 This forum is to help NOT to criticize people's post....I don't know this @kwenu guy from Adam but he posted a very good suggestion which u misinterpreted please do not let me show you my old self. you must be schizophrenic. must you quote me? that is my own opinion about his post, you can as well have yours. if you find it hard to make use of Google and find a school that suit you, then i wonder how u will cope when u get to USA and was i the only one that replied dotman post, he be like say them send you come abi. note: dont ever quote me again. |

GraceyMeryl: Hello everyone, I am currently on f2 visa in US and got admission for spring so I need to change to f1 to be able to enrol for classes. I applied online for the change of visa status but the wait time till approval is like 2.5 month which will put me at the middle of february and classes starts January 12. I am thinking, should I travel back to naija to change my visa status to f1? what are my chances of approval if I come to naija for the visa interview since I already applied via the online elis uscis? should I just wait in the state for the visa approval since some people get their f1 approval even before its 2.5 month? PLS I NEED YOUR ADVICE you need to wait for USCIS approval. go to your school international office and talk to them. as long as you have a current process, you need to wait for USCIS decision. chances of getting F1 visa is so slim if you decide to come back to nigeria, its a game of luck. just wait for USCIS |

edbid, thank you. I was waiting for someone to reply him. he is obviously one of those asking people to give them names of school and can not take time to search. one man food is another man poison, people choose their school of choice according to their pocket, location and all other factor. There are thousands of schools in USA and you have the right to chose. if he needs to know the price and location, he should use google |
