Oh Karl Marx......WHY? This scenario reminds me of Karl Marx's theory of the Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat. Does it mean that the poor has no chance in this county's common wealth... Karl Marx, i know you talked about REVOLUTION, but you didn't take cognizant of the fact that revolution cannot take place in a country where laws are only made for the poor. My country, my country..... |
[quote author=Obi1kenobi post More like conservation activists. If you want meat, there is plenty in the market, or you can breed them yourself. When will you savages stop supporting the slaughter of all wildlife? Are these animals even healthy to eat? That is how people spread diseases like Ebola and Covid among human populations. I've said it that the best things Africans can do for the rest of the world is to stop breeding like rats and multiplying everywhere. Cos all we know how to do is consume and destroy and we can't live in harmony with nature. Collect am there for your head

[quote author=stanliwise post=91630575]I weep for what you just said now. The animal I attached below was made extinct by human activity, the name of the animal is called “Dodo”. It was killed because of it size, it could feed a whole family, many human hunted it and it went to extinction , now we only have the skeletons in museums. Me don weep pass you

[quote author=stanliwise post=91630323]we have less than 15000 of this specie in the whole world, if anyone must eat a manatee let them rare them... Baba forget that thing, nature has it's way of multiplication. What if during the process of rearing them, they all die in the custody? |
ADAMU felt belittled that the minister of state gave a national directives that got a national standing ovation, hence he want to let Nigerians know that he's in charge. Adamu's directives was as a result of an outburst garnished with mild arrogance and a spice of ego. He'll rescind his decision on the basis that well meaning Nigerians have prevailed on him to do so. That's Nigerians politicians for you. Always taking the people for a ride to gain prominence and popularity with cheap political points. ![]() |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY THE PEOPLE'S GOVERNOR...... Your infrastructural strides is second to none. You work in silence, only the result makes noise. You teach every bonafide son of AKWA IBOM how to fish and not giving them fish. Age with grace. |
Blame ADAMU ADAMU and the 19 northern Governors. It's glaring to the eyes the bane of education in the country. |
Looking at the scenario at a logical point, this is what played out. Mr Adamu believes he should have been briefed by his subordinate i.e the minister of state about the outcome of the resolutions with the stakeholders before making the announcement that Waec will commence on the 4th of Aug. To him, the announcement should have come directly from his mouth. He felt his "ego" was bruised, hence he needs to act so that Nigerians will know that he's in charge. He uttered the cancellation statement based on emotional outburst garnish with mild arrogance and pride. In his words " who is WAEC to decide when we should reopened our schools" I trust Nigerians, once the minister receives backlashes from left, right and center, he will swallow his pride and says he was quoted out of context. |
Pepper soup under this raining weather is a goal. To all animal activists, hope say una no de chop meat for soup? That's great palliative for the whole community. This God is too much. |
Going by the date of recruitment and training, it's obvious the exercise is over already... Please kindly update this amiable forum on time when things of this magnitude comes to the fur... Anyway, thanks so much. |
[quote author=LordIsaac post=91560576]It can never happen without the federal government's consent as WAEC is an agency under Federal Ministry of Education. You got it wrong. WAEC is a regional body and not under any agency of the federal government. Moreover, ADAMU said schools under the jurisdiction of the federal government will not participate. This mean UNITY SCHOOLS. He only appeal to state governments to consider their stand on school resumption. He didn't give them a directive because he lacks the power to do so. |

There is a logical disparity between the topic, the offender, the act and the result. In any case, what's the justification for such huge amount of money for bail since the following case have not been established: 1. According to the report, the victim have not accused the offender of molestation. 2. The accused pleaded not guilty which means he MIGHT have been framed up or it's a mutual romance scene gone soar. 3. The result showed the victim was never sexually harassed, hence the intact of the hymen. Be it as it may, the case is not professionally reported. Three things have learnt in 2020: CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC INCREASE CASES OF RAPE HIGH RATE OF FALSE RAPE ACCUSATIONS. #FG REOPEN SCHOOLS#. |
[quote author=mindtricks post=91537013]Just stated the obvious, there seem no hope in sight. Unfortunate that from the look of things, things will only get worse. My brother, have taken it as a point of duty at any forum to enlighten our MEN to be extremely careful with the female folks now else a lot of them will suffer for offense they've not committed. If you don't have any serious intentions for a lady pls kindly let her be. Am afraid for the men's folk. |
[quote author=mbhs139 post=91527406]I seldom have the strength to comment on issues on this platform but I can't let go of the outburst at the Government every time something goes wrong in Nigeria, that's like shifting the blame, and not calling a spade what it is, but a farm implement; that we have some wicked and devilish souls amongst us as a nation. I do not think there is or there are anywhere, or country, in the world where every citizen have security personal attached to them, guiding them every where they go, day and night. You see, there is little Government can do in the face of a people that have simple decided to be inhuman and wicked to their fellow humans in their daily thinking and act. No, don't tie it to poverty or the likes, some folks are just simply wicked, and that has nothing to do with security or government. My point is that it is not everything we put at the door step of the Government. Let us look inward at the kind of society we have as presently constituted. I was utterly taking aback when some folks were blaming Government for the actions of Hushpuppy and Magu. They were blaming the President. Really? Bro, i grab your point, but do you know that a simple action like PROMPT RESPONSE TO CRIME SCENE by the security operatives would go a long way in curbing a lot of social ills in our country? Truly, the government cannot do everything YET they've failed to provide the BASIC RESPONSIBILITY...... which is protection of life and property. |
