Why haven't anyone proscribed Fulani Herdsmen?

You expect Buhari to proscribe his own people? He will never do even if they kill everyone in Benue

Why was IPOB proscribed?

IPOB was proscribed because it threatend the power of the Hausa/Fulani controlled Nigeria. The Northern oligarchy that own Nigeria dont like any group to rise up and challenge their authority

Where are those saddled with proscribing responsibility?

What is happening?

Nothing is happening that has not been happening. How you get treated in Nigeria depends on where you are from. Thats why Fulani herdsmen can go to Benue and slaughter over 100 people and get rewarded with cattle colonies but IPOB that didnt kill anyone will get military invasion and proscription.

If Kanu calls the place a zoo, some people will be wondering why

The Zoological Republic of zombies think that military might can crush ideologies, not possible.

Biafra is an independence movement to free people from the 1914 British contraption called Nigeria.

It doesnt matter if IPOB is proscribed or if Kanu is detained or killed, the ideology lives on and will be lifted to next level by the generation.

Nigeria is a disaster and a big mistake. Biafra's inalinable right to self determination remains sacrosanct and all the python dance in the world cannot stop it.

My Major headache is the killing of unarmed ipob members , this is the biggest issue of the moment why would these boys die in hands of no other than the military , military that has been dazed and brutalised by boko haram , military that cannot even stop rampaging herdsmen but become heroes when they meet unarmed ipob members

i would rather prefer they disbanded than one single innocent soul is lost to the satanic military

Stop talking nonsense. Boko Haram are killing people in North, Fulani Herdsmen are butcharing people everywhere, yet your own armed forces and police are killing unarmed IPOB who dont have guns and dont kill people. Isnt that strange to you? If your iwn security forces are busy shooting unarmed people while an armed group like the herdsmeb have a free hand to massacre people, it is time to start speaking up. And that what IPOB are doing. They are not like you that is hiding while evil prevails.

IPOB should atleast test their popularity in the upcoming Election.

Elect Pro-Secessionists into all political seat.

Then, you can start from there.

These rallies are utter BS!!

That would be a waste of time and effort

That Nigeria is even worse than a zoo is not the issue or my problem , my problem is why will my igbo brothers decide to make themselves the scape Goat for the Satanic military of the useless country to use as target practice. What has come out of the igbo youths that died last year , absolutely nothing. what stops these youths from pondering the implication of loosing fine young men with very bright future to satanist masquerading as soldiers who cannot and will never be able to engage another country's military all their lives.

If i have my way i will come to Aba and flog those youths and their parents who did not imbibe common sense in them to coma.

These people you see protesting are fighting for your right. The right to freedom of expression, right to peaceful protest, youe right to freedom of speech and your right to freedom of movement. The fact thst the Military might show up and start killing them is the more reason you should be out there protesting state sponsored genocide.

If everybody went inside their house and shut their eyes and mouth to injustice, evil will reign supreme

Some of your people keep on disgracing igbo people always. why must you attached ijaw with Igbo . you mean that Igbo can't stand alone i have never seen any Ijaw person attaching themselves with Igbo. This shameful act must stop. Majority of Igbo people in real world don't care about this Minority group only in Internet we see all this shameful begging of Minority group to be together with Igbo. IPOB failed because of this attach by force

How can it be begging to suggest to someone a coming together to fight a common cause or common enemy? In the last election, Igbos and Ijaws joined hands to vote massively for GEJ, was that attachment as well? Who told you IPOB failed? Because they are currently not visible? When IPOB was declared a terrorist group, the first organisation to come out and say that IPOB isnt a terrorist organisation was IYC, Ijaw youth congress.

The Yorubas welcomed the IBO's with open hand after the war even when they were rejected by the Rivers and Bendel people.
And yet they still hate us like mad.

You people are welcoming people who were fighting to go their way?

You Yorubas dont get it. What the Igbos wanted was not your welcoming hand. What they wanted was to go their way. Igbos fought a war in other not to see anyones welcoming hands.

That should be your headache, you asked a question and I gave you some few examples, counter them.

Its my headache because the Fulani have not yet reached your area, so you are yet to find out what real terror is. There is a reason why the US, UK and the EU overlooked those reasons you gave when they all said IPOB isnt a terrorist organisation. They know that for a group to be a terrorist organisation, that group must be armed and killing people like Boko Haram and Herdsmen.

If a group is not armed and does not kill, like IPOB, whatever act of violence attrubuted to them is put under criminal activity, not terrorist activity.

But you know you are African, you are not as sophisticated as advanced nations such as US and the UK. Thats why those countries will say that IPOB is not a terrorist organisation and that Fulani herdsmen are the real terrorists, but a Nigerian will say the reverse. Lol

They intimidated people during their numerous sit at home.

They destroyed cars and locked shops around Awada during one of such sit at home

They harassed politicians and even the governor during the run up to the Anambra guber election

They urged their members to go to polling stations on the day of election in Anambra with paper and pen and write down names of people they can identify so as to deal with them later.

Don't argue with these fact because it was aired on radio Biafra those days and even discussed on nairaland then too. So IPOB was rightly judged as a terrorist group.

Instead of you wasting your time to write all this, you should be asking why your government has not tagged Fulani herdsmen, who are about to slaughter everyone in Benue and Taraba, as terrorists.

The question is: how do you know that the oil rich states will not prefer to go into a conferederation with the Igbo states? If there were to be a referendum, you sincerely think more voters from the oil rich states will prefer to stay with Nigeria rather than go into a political confederacy with the Igbo states? Hahahaha.[/qluote]

That is what a referendum is for, letting everyone decide.

The Fulani killings in Benue exposed Buhari as the ethnic bigot and tribal champion he is. He was quick to deploy the army against unarmed IPOB who have never killed anyone and tagged them terrorists, but he looks the other way as his fellow Fulani slaughter everyone in Benue.

I honestly feel pity for Mazi Kanu.

Not as much pity as he feels for all of you zoogerians being overrun and massacred by Boko Haram and Fulani killers on a daily bases.

Dont feel pity for Kanu, dead or alive, he was always willing to suffer or die for his beliefs.

The hundreds that have been slaughtered by Fulani just this year, they died so cattle can find grass to eat. Those are the ones you should be pitying in Zoogeria.

My good friend zendy IPOB have been officially declared a terrorist group, which one come be all this back and forth? Except of course you are saying you're a terrorist too

Well as you know, the reason why nothing works in Nigeria is that when everyone is going to the left, Nizooria goes to right. When everyone starts going to the right, thats when zoogeria goes to the left.

So it is no surprise that America, UK and the EU will say IPOB are not terrorists, but Nigeria will says they are.

Same as the world will say that Fulani herdsmen are terrorist and despite them just slaugtering over 100 people in Benue, Nigeria says they should get cattle colonies for a job well done

Of course, they are terrorists but, the president unabashedly has refused to declare them so.

They are not terrorists until declared so by a court as was in the case of IPOB. Why has the President not declared Armed Fulani terrorists? Afterall, IPOB did not take up arms and didnt kill anyone.

Is it because there is a two tier Nigeria where tbose in power favour their people?

The Indegenous People of Biafra IPOB has lost the bid to reverse proscription of IPOB by the Federal Government at the Federal High Court.

According to report, the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High, Justice Abdu Kafarati, resolved all the three issues tendered before the court against the proscribed group.

Justice Kafarati squashed the contention of IPOB’s lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, that the group is not registered in Nigeria and could not be sued in Nigeria.

Justice Kafarati likened IPOB to a foreign who could be arrested when he commits a crime in another country.

The judge also held that the issuance of the proscription order by him in chambers following an ex parte application was in accordance with the provisions of the Terrorism Prevention Act.

The judge awarded the sum of N500 as cost against IPOB.

http://nghubs.info/court-affirms-proscription-of-ipob/

IPOB Lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor actually expected this. He said that there was a chance that Justice Kafarati would not like to reverse himself based on the exparte order he issued. Thats why Ifeanyi Ejiofor said that the case would be best resolved at the appeal court where the biased Kafarati would have no say.

Either way, the judgement cannot stand. On to the appeal court.
