Its not possible that Igbos and Yorubas can collaborate for 2019, or even any political envevour. The so called "Handshake Across The Niger" held recently in Enugu where Biafran women stormed the place and made their minds known should be a good indicator of what the men are thinking.

Nigeria is already a failed project.

What we should be talking about is "Handshake between, Arewwa, Oduduwa and Biafra"

What did he used against the Shi'ites, village hunters?

I never heard that the Shi'tes in Nigeria were an armed group going about killing people. All I heard was that the blocked the road of the Chief Of Army staff.

If the military ir Government thinks that military action is necessary when Shi'ites or IPOB block the road, why is there no military action when Fulani herdsmen slaughter people?

Unless maybe some people think that Fulani herdsmen killings is far less important

But as soon as he hears IPOB, he will declare PYTHON DANCE.

This much needed collaboration is the reason why the living condition of the average Nigerian continues to depreciate. This two regions oppose each other when it comes to anything politics, and this has been taken advantage of by dark forces. I am of the opinion that any candidate that Igbos and yorubas both accept is the best candidate for Nigeria.
If Nigeria is ever going to truly progress at its God's given pace, then this regions must both agree on one thing.

Which is why i am hoping that the handshake accross the Niger, succeeds.

I repeat "Provided a nation remains one, no region can have any true advantage over another due to the ease of free migration. E.g. If the advantage is Lagos, then everyone flocks to Lagos, thus overpopulating and outdoing the said advantage causing overcrowding the available Jobs, infrastructure, roads, healthcare e.t.c same happens to any other part of the country"

Complete waste of time. Im an Igbo youth who believes that Nigeria is an utter faliure that can never be salvaged. Thats why I want my own seperate country

So far, the Fulani herdsmen with AK47s, have gotten hate, hostility, anger and derision from different communities. In some cases, they even got reprisal attacks like in Numan....

Ahhhh

So this sort of Nigeria actually makes sense to you? One group called IPOB doesnt take up arms or kill anyone, they get Soldiers sent after them

Another group with arms called Fulani herdsmen have in the last 3 years slaughterd over 1000 people in Benue alone, they get hate and hostility?

Thete o e thing I dont understand. Why would any politician pay Otobo to frame Pastor Suleman? What would the politician have to gain by doing this?

What about the evidence? The pictures, the Bank transfar, the trip to Napoli?

So politicians payed Otobo to come up with all these lies, back it up with material evidence, just to bring down Suleman?

All for what? What has any politician got to gain from all this?

God , guy you need to be wise while making argument online. so that you'll not be talking off point haba.

Let me tell you this again if you threatened someone that you'll kill him and the person go and report you to the police, the police will invite you for questioning and charge you to court then the court will judge you with the act base on evidence provided, thereby looking on various intents and what caused such threats on the person.

That you hear people or your neighbor saying it to his son , is like telling me that because you steal meat from your mom's pot of soup made stealing a good act. if you are telling your guys you'll kill them they will always take it as a joke, if you see two people fighting along on the street and start saying they'll kill each other of course that is a threat and it all depends on them to report it before police will act.

Don't use because Nigerian law is not working as it supposed to and think those things are not against the law, in countries where there laws works just go and threaten someone that you'll kill him and let him report you , then you'll understand if is is against the law or not

KANU and BUHARI where not in joking terms for him to tell him he will kill him.

Lol

Shifting goal post. First you say that it is a criminal offence for anyone to say they will kill another, now it has changed to if it is said to friends or if it is said to enemies? Where have you heard in Nigeria that someone was convicted for saying they will kill another? What evidence can be brought to court in such a case, the persons breath? How can any intention be established without being inside the persons head? Who have you ever heard was charged to court based on verbal threat alone? The reason it is not possible to do so is because under chapter 4 of the Nigerian constitution, everyone is allowed freedom of speech as long as long as the speech is not used to break the law or cause violence. Freedom of speech is enshrined in the constitution.

It doesnt matter if Kanu said he going to kill Buhari or Donald Trump, what matters is if he actually took any action in that regards. Yes Kanu can be arrested and investigated for saying he will kill someone, anybody be arrested. But nobody can be charged to court for talking. The courts are interested in actions, not spoken words. Breach of the law must include an act, it is not about spoken words

I rest my case

Listen go and read that link I sent to you and stop this dump argument , once you tell someone you'll kill him or her it has become a threat to his or her life ... Be it in writing or speech , that the person don't want to take you up is a different thing altogether.

I told you Defamation is against the law you can call it civil or criminal all I said is it is against the law so as telling someone you'll kill him.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A true threat is a threatening communication that can be prosecuted under the law. It is distinct from a threat that is made in jest. The U.S. Supreme Court has held that true threats are not protected under the U.S. Constitution based on three justifications: preventing fear, preventing the disruption that follows from that fear, and diminishing the likelihood that the threatened violence will occur.[1] There is some concern that even satirical speech could be regarded as a "true threat" due to concern over terrorism.[2]

The true threat doctrine was established in the 1969 Supreme Court case Watts v. United States.[3] In that case, an eighteen-year-old male was convicted in a Washington, D.C. District Court for violating a statute prohibiting persons from knowingly and willfully making threats to harm or kill the President of the United States.[3] The conviction was based on a statement made by Watts, in which he said, "[i]f they ever make me carry a rifle the first man I want to get in my sights is L.B.J

Let just assume everything you said is true. Let us agree for a moment that verbal threat without action is indeed a criminal offence.

That means you and I and every other Nigerian should report to nearest police station immidiately. There is no adult Nigerian out there that has not said "I will kill you today" to another person, wether jokingly, in anger, in jest, in passing or otherwise. We have all at one time or another threatend to kill someone.

My neighbour just yesterday said to his son "I will kill you today for not doing your homework". Maybe I should go to report him to the police for threatening to kill his son?

Breach of the law must be an act, it cannot be mere words alone. Defamation is not a crime, it is a civil offence that has nothing to do with Police.

Criminal Code Act-PartV - Nigeria Law
www.nigeria-law.org/Criminal%20Code%20Act-PartV.htm
310. A person who, by threats
or intimidation or by deceit, causes another person to do an act or make an omission which results in the death of that other person, is deemed to have killed him. 311. A person who does any act or makes any omission which hastens the death of another person who, when the act is done or ...

I know you're not up to date on what you're talking about, you're just talking for talking sake.

Listen when you tell someone I'll kill you it is a threat to life and it is against the law almost in every country if not all on this planet earth , if the person record it and sue you whatever penalty that follows is what you'll pay because it is already a written law. that is not freedom of speech .

So if defamation is against the law how then are you keep arguing blinding on something like death treat . Do yourself a little favor and google more about THREAT LAWS so that you'll stop this your lame arguments . or better still ask a lawyer, police if threatening someone with death is against the law or not.

You cited a law but couldnt even make use of the law. Where does it say that spoken words is a threat to life? It even clearly says that the threat must be an act or omission. Infact, the entire law is dependant on someone being killed and neither Kanu nor IPOB has killed anyone.

Defamation is a completely different thing. Defamation is a civil offence and not a criminal one.

Who is fooling who?

It is one thing to go and shoot unarmed IPOB members in the name of "Python Dance"

It is another to go and try to arrest herdsmen with AK47's in the name of a presidential order

Sending Police or Soldiers against an unarmed group is easy

Sending Soldiers or police against an armed group such as Fulani herdsmen, that one is different story, a story we shall never hear about because it will never happen.

This is a whole president of a country he was threatening with death. No matter how bad Buhari regime is Nigeria is never a pushover .

When someone threatened your life the law has already been there against such person and no one can force you to pursue or make case against the person and also you can't fault anyone that decided to go for it.

Thats not how the law works. The law does not work on "threat by mouth". There is no Nigerian who has not threatend another person. Everyone has freedom of speech, without it, the next time you threaten anyone, wether your gateman, your friend, an 'agbero ' you met in the park, what it means is that you should go to jail.

Threatening someones life with no action is no threat
Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu Sureties Must Produce Him, Court Fumes by zendy: 1:03am On Jan 27, 2018

A colonel attached to the Chief of Army’s office in the Army Headquarters, Abuja, Col. A.A Yusuf, who deposed to the counter-affidavit on behalf of Buratai, said the alleged invasion of Kanu’s house was totally false.

The Army boss told the court that his men only chased a truck he said was laden with arms and explosives of different kinds, into a compound he said was later discovered to belong to Kanu and his father.

I simply just cant believe that the Nigerian Army are still peddling this obvious lie, that they were were chasing a truck full of arms and ended up in Kanu's compound?

If it was actually true that the Nigerian Army chased a Truck full of arms into Kanu's compound, why is it that no one has seen pictures of this truck full of arms?

Surely, the Nigerian Army that loves to display bodies of boko haram fighters killed and the cache of weapons recovered from them, just could not show us the truck full of weapons they chased into Kanu's compound?

Yet, the very next day, the Nigerian Arny released a statement pronouncing IPOB as a terrorist organisation and the nearest they said IPOB came to having guns was the one "they tried to snatch"

Yet, the Nigerian army claims they chased a truck full of arms into Kanu's compound? Which no one has ever seen even a picture of?

True that but did the separatist groups in those countries you mentioned call for the killing of other nationalities?

There is a big difference between calling for the killing of other people and actually going ahead to kill people.

Breach of the law must be an act, it cannot be just mere words. If a person or group calls for the killing of another, there are laws that regulate what happens. The person who made the call can be charged for criminal incitement, which most courts wont take serious since everyone has freedom of speech. The criminal justice system of most democratic countries, which Nigeria is amongst, are interested in what has been done, not what was said.

If the Nigerian courts were to prosecute everyone who has ever said they want to kill someone, every Nigerian would be in court or jail.

So the question of if a seperatist organisation called for the killing of anyone does not arise. If anyone calls for the killing of anyone, the authorities should take the person to court and let the courts determine if that call was wrong.

What is most important is if an organisation actually went on to kill people

This is not partisan politics, this is probably what will happen even in the US if somebody starts coming up with separationist ideology. It is a simple, crude, old but effective way to curb separatism, sometimes it can go wrong when not executed properly, for instance, the start of Boko Haram, you cannot come and tell the people that "well, I just killed your leader so y'all got to stop this nonsense", naa, just hide the bastard or news about his/her well being and everything is settled.

Really? Well it may interest you to know that in America, there are several several separatist groups. Hawaii wants to be independent, Pueto Rico wants to go, even California want to cut out. In Texas, many groups still hoist confederate flag as their national flag and want the state of Texas to be independent. The American Government even called the chiefs of Hawaii for talks based on their agitation for seperation.

America values the life of its citizens and will never send Soldiers to kill them just because they agitate for separation. Soldiers are for situations where there is armed violence, not peaceful agitation.

Even UK that created Nigeria gave Scotland referendum

What is troubling about this whole thing is that Nigeria claims to be a democracy, but still has a situation where the Army is still invading peoples houses where no war exists.

It is a sign of a failed state and democracy that a president is breaking thr law by sending the Military to take over the job of the police. The Army has no right to invade anyone house or arrest anyone.

Someday, the Army will have to explain what it went to do in Kanu's house

The police in Biafra will not be routinely armed and on no account must the army be mobilised to do police work.

Thats what a civilised soceity should be, not a situation where a president will declare 'operation Python dance' and send Soldiers to an area where there is no breakdown of law and order or violence.

Places that herdsmen are killing people, the President ignores the situation because its his kinsmen doing the killing
