You only show your ignorance when you speak on matters ypu know nothing about. Aviation is a funny space, the amount quoted is not so far fetched. Fuelling, flight costs both legs, landing charge, etc.

My issue is him coming to spill the monetary cost.

Chief - I understand where you are coming from, but I can assure you that the acquisition of Intercontinental Bank was the best thing to happen to that bank and Nigeria financial environment. The management team of Intercontinental Bank was one of the most selfish Management team I have witnessed in Business management. They ran that Bank to the ground and only provided opportunity to be acquired.

If you look at all Bank failures in Nigeria, one thing is common - Poor and Selfish Management decisions. Do your research properly.

If you also look at successful Nigerian Banks, you will identify one thing - strong management commitment and good corporate governance. I can tell you in honesty, that there are only 4 strong Nigerian Banks - UBA, Zenith, GTbank and Access Bank. Don’t take my word for it, go and look at the share price of these Banks

Just one vital information missing - Stanbic IBTC Bank

Yeah very possible. It isnt a good sign when your application is on background check for a very long time. I personally know of 5 people that their application was on background check for months and were finally refused, so its not a good sign at all. Normally ur application should start with a background check and later progress to Eligibility review before a final decision is made. But we cant predict this CIC people tho, all what I said is based on my observation and experience on this thread. So yes, an application can go from background check to refusal, and also frm Eligibilty review to refusal depending on ur application. Peace.

Thanks alot

Yes, sometimes even after medical request.
You can only know that you have been refused when you get the refusal letter.
Just try to stay positive and don’t think so much about refusal.

Thanks for your kind words

I am hopeful

For the tracking number on VFS website that is the response you will get. So there is no issue.

As for linking online, there is something you are entering wrongly... Carefully check. I had same challenge until I found what was wrong.

I applied 8th October as well

Please what did you notice was wrong.

I have entered everything severally correctly. Would appreciate.

If its paper then its obvious the person isnt putting in the right Tracking number.. If its paper and he/she puts in the right tracking number and date of birth, then there shouldn't be any issue.

Sorry I applied since 8th October, I keep seeing your application is being proccessed at the Canada visa office.

Any ideas?

Pls house, I need help with this.

My sponsors are my sister and her husband. Both are Directors to their company with their son a minor.

I have hold of the company statement, about N40M closing balance
Landed property document
Marriage certificate
My sister's birth certificate showing relationship
Their IDs - Drivers licence

Board resolution

Should the sponsors affidavit be signed by the 2 or separate affividats?

I just got married traditionally, I intend filling as common law as court has not being fixed yet but November.

Your advise is well appreciated.

1. Leave ur House
2. If you are driving, drive straight to Lekki, Ikate roundabout. Get down from ur Car and enter VFS and take a ticket number, sit down and wait for ur number to be announced. When it is announced, go straight to the counter called against ur number and Submit.

And if you are not driving, Take a bus going to Obalende, after which u take a bus going to Lekki, Ikate round about and follow the procedures above. Meanwhile make sure you get an appointment, before leaving ur house, so u wont go there twice or thrice.

Thanks alot

I have taken pain to explain, If any newbie ask questions like this next time, I will personally flog you. angry angry Advice to the newbies, Read all through this thread and u will see that the answers to ur supposed Questions are already there. Peace

I think I am a personal example for you, even though my case may have been an outlier.
When I applied for my Study Permit, my sponsor was my Fiancée's elder sister. We were not married in any form yet as at the day my application was submitted. She runs a small business with CAC documents. The company's account had like 3.5m and personal account was like 6m. I submitted both. Then I had like about 1.4m myself in ARM mutual fund savings. She transferred my first year tuition to me 1.2m I couldn't pay it yet coz McGill.

I was told that relationship was too tenuous, but it wasn't like I had much choice. I was there at the convocation party when my sponsor graduated from the University, I just got matriculated into the same University back then. That picture was the only evidence I had of our relationship, so I included it. That was it.

Thanks. So were you finally approved?

Focus more on purpose of visit and home tie.

Thanks alot.

So my not having enough seating balance may not be an issue?

Also, since it is just traditional, will picture evidence suffice?

How can you suggest I prove my relationship to my in law, thanks.

Hello House, I need help as to how to push in my Visa application. I just got admitted to study in Canada, I have since paid my 1st Semester school fees.

I already have the following:
Affidavit of Sponsor - My brother in law ( is this relationship strong enough?)
Letter of support by Sponsor
Statement of account of the company - seating balance of over N40 Million
CAC docs
Landed property document and gas station
My SOP
Presently my account does not warehouse my funds as I invested in Forex ( over N2million - should have this by next month)
I recently got married traditionally, court is next month

School is starting January 2019.

Your advice is welcomed.

Is this the Nigeria we clamor for?

We scream racism at the white man but what are we doing here? If you didnt experience the biafran war kindly keep quiet. War is not child's play.

Turning an election into a tribal game totally defeats d fundamentals of the nation we are trying to build.

Go out nd vote ur choice regardless of sentiments. Be the positive change you clamour for and stop throwing aspersions.

My only problem is why will a traditional ruler be partisan? Aint u still the king of both aspirants Aint they both Yorubas
