Its good news, yes, but why telling us again now

Something similar happened when I was young. At the Catholic Chapel of Bleep.

Suddenly, after morning mass, the news spread that the Mary Statue of the chapel was crying blood! Before noon that day, it was like all the Roman Catholics in the State troupe-d down the College to worship the Statue. Wow!

I was about 10 - 14 then. I am not Catholic but it was just a few houses away, so I went to see. On getting there, after much queuing, the Statue inside a glass box, then written on the glass, "DO NOT TOUCH THIS STATUE". The "blood" was bright red, even though it was hours after the crying that I arrived, and it wasn't dripping, just stationary. I went home disappointed.

Disappointed at:
1. How can a lifeless object have blood, much less crying it out - through the eyes?
2. Why won't they allow me or any other person touch it? I mean - someone is crying, it is only sympathetic if I could be allowed to console it, clean out its tears etc Then let it cry again for all to see.
3. If a lifeless object is able to cry, then by all means it should be able to clean the tears by itself.
4. Common sense told me that human blood is not bright red. And after sometime outside the body, it darkens more and conceals.

Well, my first hand experience.

I appreciate your write up but in some cases it's also negligence and carelessness from doctors. I lost my son few weeks ago after being born 4days later to jaundice. Despite the fact my wife kept alerting them that she has an history with jaundice from the theater where she had a casseran procedure. It's a story I don't want to start writing about right now but the child should not be dead if not for carelessness from the hospital doctors. Everyone keeps telling me to sue the hospital I v just decided to let go.
