i blame finidi for taking a job too big for him. It's like walking into a trap with your eyes wide open. Now his CV is red
He was never qualified to coach the SE, I don't know how Nff came to the conclusion of giving him the job.

When student don't like a teacher, they skip class. If it's true, the blame is to NFF, they should consult top players when they want to hire. Two cannot work except they agree.
But he has been around the players and even struggle jersey with them 😂 😂 😂

Shame on osimhen if this is true. Really disappointed in him.

shey the criteria for employing him over more qualified coaches was because he has been around the team, and he knows the players better. He should stop complaining and do his job.

Sack Finidi. Sack Finidi. Sack Finidi.

I am of the same ethnic stock as Finidi but I cannot in all honesty advocate for him to continue in the helms as Super Eagles coach.

It cannot get worse. The knife has been shoved deeper and twisted in our heart and we'll eventually bleed to death. WE CANNOT QUALIFY. That:s the realistic diagnosis. .

We lose nothing from sacking Funidi.

Sacking Finidi is bye to football without formation and tactics.

Sacking Finidi is bye to poor defensive setup.

Sacking Finidi is bye to unmerited call-ups.

Sacking Finidi is bye to questionable player invitations.

Sacking Finidi is bye to home-based quota.

Sacking Finidi is bye to susceptibility to NPFL journalists and their envelope-induced hyping of home-based players.

NFF should do fast and sack him.
Some of us shouted that finidi is not good enough for SE but some were thinking it's because of Amunike

Baba haba who go start that giraffe ahead of moffi and Boniface that can easily switch with lookman and Kelechi
Aggressive players that can dribble to create chances

Irrespective of today's result finidi is very dull. Now I see
when we talk after the Ghana and Mali friendly, people were saying its just a friendly. When it comes to national team, I start accessing coach from their friendly games because they don't play much games. I'll keep saying it finidi never impressed me even at enyimba

For the following words in quotes "Finidi wants to teach the players his philosophy of attacking (which is deep) and defending (which is also deep)"

How did you know that those are Finidi's philosophy?

Even if they are, those words stem from confusion, because you saying it can't even explain it.

I just want to know if Finidi in any way made those insinuations.
Does Finidi even have a philosophy? 🙄 And we never saw it in Enyimba after 2yrs.

Lookman is not shy...

Some people are reserved or introverts..

Lookman is probably an introvert who likes playing football and lives in a country with hundreds of football academies with a path to been a professional footballer and ended up been a professional footballer..

There were people in your childhood who could have been good footballers but lack of football academies with a path to becoming a professional footballer prevented them from taking football seriously..
Yea maybe an introvert, even his academic coach said something like that.

Why do we create so much fuss about Finidi not starting Lookman in the friendly against Mali?

It's a non issue. Lookman is now an integral part of our attack and Finidi cannot leave him out in serious matches.

Why while you understand? You don't have to understand because you didn't have anything to say to that. I have even seen that bolded happen in church where I was lost in taught as a kid to why such will Happen to a purple whose language doesn't tow the line of the Igbos, this familiarity has lead people to call their wards an Igbo names because of these and when you see these names you will then conclude they are igbo people just as you are asserting it is only when you hear them speak that you will understand their language has nothing to do with the Igbo language.

Such deterioration of culture has been going on for so long to an extent some language in Rivers State is now endangered according to UN report typical example is the IBANI language spoken by indigenous people of Opobo and Bonny areas of Rivers State.
oga you are diverting from our main point of our discussion which is the igbo looking names and you saying you can tell their lgas but looking at the names. You won't drag me into what you are trying to bring in.

If he has federal backing it's simple. Tinubu wants Rivers State by all means. Did you not see that Magnus Abe has reconciled with Wike? It was Tinubu that directed him to do so and he might likely run for governor under APC and Wike will support him. Let's see how it goes sha
And Tinubu never wanted Lagos? Tinubu never sent wike to do what he did in rivers, he was only trying to show tinubu his capacity in rivers, but this time he will have a seating governor to contend with. Then he was the lord and master of rivers state

The Igbos have done a lot of stuff with Rivers people over the years for example a town called Opobo their first king was a slave from an Igboland who found himself loyal to the powers that be, this town speaks igbani but because of their ancestry with the Igbos right from that slave(king Jaja) they began to deal in the language of their king not in their indigenous ijaw language leading to the IBANI language becoming endangered as we speak.

This relationship might now lead people answering Igbo names because their ancestors have been picking brides from the Igbo tribe for hundreds of years, does this men they are from the Igbo tribe even if they speak and answer their names? This is the situation of some places in Rivers State

In addition, the Igbo language has been taught in schools as one of the three major languages in Nigeria while non of the Rivers languages were taught to students in so doing speakers of Igbo language increase, does it mean they are from Igbo tribe? Another thing I observed is that the Igbo Bible and hymn has been there for a very long time, these were forced on the throat of rivers people while in church. I could remember when the Igbo hymn were sang in a church that has no Igbo indigenous people. All of these has its own effect on the culture of minorities in Rivers State.

Just the way you can't differentiate an hausa man from a kanuri man in the North by virtue of one been the domineering ethnicity is same way it is here but indigenous people can.

These arguments of the Igbo tribe didn't hold waters, that a person has been influenced by your tribe for a long time doesn't mean they are from your tribe.
i don't really get the point you are trying to make, but I can tell you Akwa ibom is a state very close to the igbos, but none of what you are saying affected their names and language.

I'm not interested in the opobo, ikwerre story of how they're or not Igbo. What I was saying it that you can't tell the lga of those igbo-like names there without knowing them before now. Obio akpor, ikwerre, onelga, opobo even in eleme you can find those names.
