Fidelis blasting Osimhen doesn't mean he has any personal issues with Osimhen. Many here blasted him but he's still their favorite.

That proposition works both ways and it's a testament to the quality of the recruitment team analyst's, sports sciientists, scouts . Etc

Salah left Roma and became an inverted winger that suited his skil set perfectly, he adaptable and versatile as well as teachable.

Balotelli and Benteke as good as they were failed at Liverpool. Do you think VO is way better than those players ❓
Bro I don't know if VO was mentioned in my post, I have reread it again. What I'm saying is that a player not performing in a league while doing so well another doesn't always mean the former was bigger or tougher, other factors must also be considered.

2000% footballing wise, playing for Everton at the best league in the world is even better than Galatasaray. Paul onuachu couldn’t score 1 goal for Southampton in 17 games. He transferred to a turkey league and scored 15 in 25 last season despite transferring in January
And you know salah couldn't score upto 20goals for roman but came to Liverpool and scored more. So it's not always about the league but the condition the player find himself in the team he's playing.

I have a feeling that Eguavoen might just succeed this second time with the SE. He carefully selected his squad list and is carefully choosing his assistants. Heard he was also looking for assistants from Belgium. With his past experiences, he won't want to fail again. He will also bring discipline into that team with his strong face. Let's give him a chance. What we are looking for in Sokoto might just be in our shokoto
Abeg which other chance are you referring to, cos he's already on his 3rd chance with the SE when some other coaches like Amunike dy look for just one chance.

there is a way something will be happening that it becomes normal to you. Nigeria has a way of making abnormal things look alright to you. When I saw the news about the German I just hissed and continued to scroll. The journalists have seen it all so they just didn't bother writing stories. Camp opens tomorrow. Let's look forward to a good(hopefully) international week ahead.

Even if Siasia won us the World Cup,Afcon,Chan etc in the past with his current bad rep he isn’t suppose to be close to anything related to our football

It is not a coincidence that since Siasia left
1. We have notvqualified for the Olympics
2. Our u20 teams have not gotten to a semi final
Also siasia knows how to blend our home based players and get the beat out of them.
Our football badly needs samson siasia.
He is needed even if he is cirrupt
He is one if the few local coaches I can trust.
The new foreign coach needs him as an assistant
this right here is the problem in Nigeria, that's why you see people defending corrupt leaders. I love siasia as a coach and I feel he's better than most of the coaches we have but I can't look over the corruption charge against him.

NFF una try for this new coach appointment. Completely under the radar as it’s supposed to be.
them really try, it took them almost 3months to get a coach with the next qualifiers in about 2weeks time. A good coach for a long term but for this qualifiers I won't raise my hopes.

Definitely I won't recognise that place cos it's more than 20yrs. I only witness all AFSS games of 2001 host in ph, but the whole wassa(spelt the way I pronounce) thing was like a carnival.

Mujtahida:
I think one's background plays a huge role in whether they have a pan - Nigerian or narrow tribal outlook. I grew up on the Airforce base in Makurdi and till date just by looking at a person or hearing him speak I can tell where he or she's from. And that's because our interaction cut across virtually all the ethnic groups in Nigeria and we grew up with that sense that we are a community.

My first real contact with the practical demonstration of ethno - religious sentiment was when I went to University in Zaria and when I joined nairaland. It was shocking and I used to get annoyed by it but not anymore. Not many people have the privilege of the kind of background you have.

I put the blame squarely on our leaders especially those of the first republic. Compare them to a person like Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore and see the difference in their orientation. While Lee quickly realized that Singapore composed of Chinese, Malays and other sub-nationals, he ensured that the state adopted a strict policy of merit and neutrality. That is the magic that transformed Singapore to the height it now occupies. (Lee was in Nigeria in January 66 for the commonwealth conference, when he saw our leaders, he said we were not going to succeed as a nation because we were too tribal)

And indeed what did our own leaders do? They dug down their heels and jostled for political advantage strictly on tribal lines. I will nevertheless say that they loved their people sincerely and they are still 100 times better than this present crop of useless politicians.
God bless you bro, growing up in such an environment with so many tribes that till this moment people use to shock when I tell them I know a little about that little tribe they feels someone down south won't know. Yes we do hear of tribal fight between tivs and jukuns. But we grew up from an environment where you come to realise that your parents best friends at from an entirely different region of the country. Moving to portharcourt and nairaland was a different thing altogether.

Using diplomatic language to say someone is inept is not an insult.

Saying someone is lacking in capacity knowledge and understanding is different from saying BIG FOOL.

The may essentially mean the same thing but they are not both insults.
that's why I used the word subtle insults like asking someone are you stupid? It's different from you are stupid.

Me I have also been crying about the handling of the next U17 preparation. We will wait until one month to the qualifiers, then a month or two to the qualifiers, they will employ coach and bring out list. Saying they are the best we have.
or you will hear he have been with team, he knows the system or he knows the boys, just to give the job to one of their incompetent boys.
