Me sef I don't understand. If anything Mikel accomplished more than JayJay if we talk about heights. JJ was just more entertaining to watch.
when I said Mikel had the talent of both jayjay and kanu you should understand the height I felt he could attain.

Height as in what? I don’t understand
yes he won so many laurels at Chelsea but as at when he came second to Messi, he was someone we expect to at least get an APOTY.

Probably they ran out of money to fund the club.

Remo Stars owner has a club outside Nigeria and wouldn't mind running at a loss or minimum profit for Remo Stars to stay afloat.

There was a promising private club in the East that year (can't remember their name) but they too I have not been hearing about them recently.
Marcel Desailly speaks about how good Mikel was when he trialed with Chelsea as a 16 year old kid straight from 9ja

was very good, I do see him as someone with the talent of jayjay and kanu combine. Unfortunately he didn't attain that height we all expected him to reach.

Just say you forgot the player and you personally adore martins.

Emenike apart from winning Afcon also won the golden boot at that competition. Yes his goals was that key. Can’t remember whatever martins did at Afcon. We can’t continue to use epl or European leagues to judge our players alone without their immense contributions to our profile as a soccer nation.
that one dey. Really Martins wasn't explosive for SE. There was hardly a time Martins secure that top9 position.

Lol. His name is not obagoal for nothing.

Martin’s shadow was a better footballer than emenike. I have no recollection of any highlight moments from emenike’s career aside the afcon 2013. Good player but largely forgettable. Won the afcon but it is not a trophy counting exercise. If that is the case, then fegor ogude > seyi olofinjana..
Martins moment I can't forget was he goal against ac Milan where he turned was it Maldini can't recall the defender. But for SE emenike has more memorable moments.

Bench Osimhen and ighalo.
Don’t call up emenike.
Arrest yakubu for missing that goal at the WC!!!
seems hard to say but I rate yakubu above the other strikers except for Osimhen.
I'll start Osimhen
Bench emenike and yakubu.
No call up for Martin (he's not my kind of striker) and did not make much impact for SE

Aside lookman, there are some others in the team with genuine talent, e.g Osimhen, Aina, Ndidi at a time was one of the best DM in the World, he missed it not leaving Leicester for a bigger club then. Ekong and Okoye has greatly improved, I see Bassey as someone who has alot in him to offer but not doing that right now, Iwobi is good on his day. But you see Chukwueze, and its likes, Na fraud them be.
iheanacho was at one time star boy of the team. In a recent interview I was surprised Osimhen mentioned him as one of the most skillful players in the team.

And some people were defending him for keeping one of our best player in Afcon on the bench for almost 90 minutes

I really want Eguaveon to be kept with this consortium of assistants he assembled to see what they are all about- I feel Eguaveon deserves a final redemption arc with on-field coaching rather than the desk job he has been doing as technical director. Also the local coaches; Daniel and Fidelis also look like interesting coaching prospects. Add Siasia to the mix and we might be on to something.
i think the assistants selected were spot on, away from the usual Amokaches and yobos people with no coaching pedigree.

Finidi lost it when he tried re-inventing the wheel. He was the assistant to Peseiro at Afcon where the team played the final using the 3 - 5- 3 formation. Instead of sticking to what the players were used to considering how short the time was, he decided to go fishing in deep waters. He come hook.

And then this issue of putting home based.
players.

These are the mistakes he made.
After being an assistant to peseiro, he still came up with 'formation doesn’t matter', just only if the players stay where dy need to stay and do what they need to do. How will they stay or do what without formation.

Baba u sabi watch ball. Bashiru’s focus was to attack when he was suppose to sit deep to help in protecting the midfield and defense against the opponent who were pushing for an equalizer

That was the main reason Ndidi gassed easily and was complaining which made AE to instruct Bashiru to drop deeper

Even I faulted AE for bringing in Bashiru instead of an Onyeka when the team was trying to defend a lead. We all didn’t notice that error because the team won comfortably

Bashiru is an all attacking midfielder and the best would have been maybe to push him to the flanks yesterday if we lacked better personnels in that area of the pitch or on the bench.

Iwobi is more tidy with the ball and understands that CM role than Bashiru.
And you allow Elyte to apply for eagles job ahead of you.

Everything is not luck
Siasia was simply beaten by a better side that has Messi period

But if you look at the style of play you'll see a coach that know what he is doing

How many coach can take you back back medals winning in Olympics. Siasia did

For Eguavon hmm
The only time he was given enough time,he took as to AfCON 3rd place finish in Egypt. Not different from what Rorh and other whites do

The other 2 instance he can on rescue just like the yesterday own

Imagine calling him a week to a major game to prepare a team. When the white dude turn NFF down

The hurriedly ask him to lead the team. Assuming we lost they will say Eguavon bad luck

But we forget NFF are the clueless once. Who will always resort to fire brigade approach.

But in few days we saw his input on the team. The same Benin that beat us 2-1 some week back lost woefully 0-3 to Nigeria.

Beniln Republic of course know own strength and weakness and wanted to just seat back soack the pressure and finish an the counter but Eguavon tactics 3-4-3 on the night mess them up.

So I honestly think if given to either Eguavon or Siasia or Amunike can deliver perfectly
these are the only home base coach I think are good for the super eagles. Siasia corruption case go work against him.

That's the problem

When Jose Peseiro lost woefully to portugal they say give him more time

Why can't we give time to our home grown coaches to also do better

Imagine just one lose for Finidi George and they were planning to geta foreigner who doesn't even have African experience or a good c.v to become his boss he did a honourable thing to walk away

Okey let hire English men to take over our NFF class house
give more time no be for all coaches. When you see a good coach with potential, you advocate for more time. Eg AE after our lost to Tunisia, you see how good his team played in the group stage. Not a coach that was said to have been with the team becoming the head coach you go on to lose to Benin on a neutral ground and you are asking for more time. On which ground are you asking for more time.

Osimhen's 22nd Super Eagles Goal.

15 goals away from Equalling Yekini.... 16 to beat it.

We are coming.💥😎
that's why I don't feel OK when Osimhen miss any eagles match, I just want him someone to break that record and for now he's the only one that look it.
