Will a graduate of the university qualify for PGWP considering the fact it's a private uni? yemdogg: Of course they would admit just anyone......it's a private school and it's a profit making establishment. They try to make sure that just anyone can get admitted into their MBA program...there are several options available to prospective applicants; I mean they could literally just beg people to apply for their MBA program. and i learnt there is no requirement for payment of app fee. you can imagine.
Anyway, all these things may not determine/affect the reputation of the school. buh it's ranked 8296 in the world and ranked 93 out of 99 top institutions in Canada. |

Dont rush to re-apply, order for ur GCMS file first, there's enof time for u to re-apply for ur TRV. Don't just conclude on the reasons ticked here, there's more to it nd only ur GCMS file can show what the real reasons are iamosamede55: I wouldn't knw why nairaland js nt opening on my laptop, telling too many riderects. So i just decided to copy the reason of refusal.
whether the person has been accepted to study at a Canadian educational institution; • the information in the travel and identity documents; • the person’s ability to pay for the trip, to pay tuition fees and to support himself or herself while in Canada; • whether the person is likely to respect the conditions of his or her admission to Canada; • whether the person is inadmissible to Canada; and • whether the person would be likely to leave Canada at the end of his/her autho |

2. Are there any limitation( can I work orr school) on the visa I would get if the petition is successful 3. If granted a visa does it have a validity period or is it going to be a green card. Thanks |

Free d guy abeg, na mumu he be. No be PGD/PGC most Indian students dey use enter canada. D guy go surprise when CIC handle hin file, he think say na by having a MSC admission. Me nd u go connect for Lambton Carter001: I really don't like it when someone just posts anyhow without thinking/reading well , why would someone just come here and say "is it by force to give visa".... I believe we all have our different reasons for choosing to study in a college.
the college I applied to (Lambton) usually release success stories of international students after their studies to encourage prospective students.... I've seen lots of success stories of Nigerians who get GOOD jobs after their PGD/PGC.
I mean this nigerian guy works in one of the best banks in Canada .... So I really don't know why you will just come here and bash my hustle cos you got accepted for Msc.
At the end of the day it all depends on hard work irrespective of ones discipline (PGC/PGD , Msc)..... good luck to all on our TRV journey |

I was giving visa and study permit last April for September 2015 session but I didn't travel because of wife's ill-health. I asked for deferral and that was given to but a friend who is resident in Canada advised that I apply for another study permit. I think it's not possible, I just checked CIC website now. But there's somtin about applying from their los-angeles office. U can check their page for more info. They av too many rules http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=483&top=15kboogie231: From my findings, you can't change your status from a visiting to study permit in Canada. I will do more research on that possibility though. If you have any info, please kindly share.
What is even annoying me most is the fact that I will lose about 10% of my fees if I ask for a refund. That's quite a lot in this economy coupled with the fact one has already lost almost 250 CAD in application and biometric fees. |

Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by ziggy3579: 7:34am On Aug 23, 2016 |
Hi, pls reply the PM I sent u. Thanks kboogie231: Good evening house, this is my second post on the thread. Eventually heard from CIC this evening, study permit was denied. Reasons being "you have no satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. Purpose of visit and current employment situation". I find it ludicrous because I submitted my letter of employment, letter of introduction from my employer and more so I have paid my school fees. What is even more surprising is that I have a valid visitor's visa to Canada that will expire September 2017. The same documents of employment I used in securing the visitor's visa last year are the same I used for the study permit. If I portend an immigration risk, I wouldn't bother applying for a study permit. I think they just give any excuse that comes to their mind to deny PGD applicants.
Please can anyone give information on what kind of GCMS notes to apply for? Standard GCMS or GCMS Plus? Thanks. |
