Am not sure you can travel now since your admission has been deferred to September next year. I will suggest u move on with your life and travel next year. U got admission, scholarship and TRV for ur cupboard already and I think your visa will still be valid by September next year. I stand to be corrected tho. You can ask about the validity of d visa when you get to VFS to pick up your passport

I just noticed a tiny mistake, my sponsor's name is spelt as Afolashade in my affidavit, IMM1294 form, family info form and letter of sponsorship but spelt Afolasade (wihtout the 'h') in her birth cert and int'l passport. Can I just ignore?

U don't go to Accra to pick up ur package when it is ready, u are to go back to VFS office where u submitted when u applied. Call them first to know if DHL has dropped ur package with them

The other one just applied two days ago. Lol,GRE for yankee school there are a lot schools wey no dey request for GRE and dem go give u admission. Ziggy baba, south korea na hot cake if u have interest especially for masters student, once u graduate your PR is 100% you can be working while studying..with a balance of 5million in your SOA you are good to go. Once you have your PR you can visit 168countries without applying for their visa including US,canada and Australia. Boys don dey gather body wan enter that side.

U re not submitting all ur originals, just ur bank statement of acct and ur sponsor's own,ur admission letter and tuition fee receipt,I think ur police report too, all CIC documents, d rest will be fotocopy. But make sure it is clear

Like almost every new person says, I have been a silent reader for months now and I am here to share my experience for someone to benefit from it.
Here's my profile:
I am a pgc applicant ( lambton college)
Applied : June 16 ( paper route)
Sponsor : mother
Closing balance : 6.5 million and other landed documents
Didnot pay school fees
Travel history: Canada, us and uk
I have family ties in Canada and here in Nigeria.
I attached every required document cic requires then I included my transcript, a reference letter from a prof i worked with in the US ( during my IT) and I was waiting for their response, my application got to its 9th week when I got another admission to a school in Ireland for masters ( the Ireland system of immigration is almost the same as the Canadian system in which you can stay after school). It was a better option for me so i decided to withdraw my application.
Spent 2 weeks reaching out to cic to send back my passport as I got another offer. Sent a CSE, emails ( both I and my mum), placed phone calls, Twitted at them ( where they told me to send another cse), still got no reply and no passport back. Until suddenly on the 28th of August, my agent ( I used an agent) got the medical call email and send it to me.
We still sent them more emails that we were not interested and they should send the passport back. Still got no response from cic.
Then I was advised by the agent to just go for the medicals and I did then they sent an email on the 8th of sept stating that they already called me for medicals, so I should please proceed for medicals.
I already did, so I did not reply the email or send another one.
I used the children's hospital which is at Raymond Njoku Lagos and they sent my result in 3-4 working days. And today the 15th of September I got a mail from my agent that my visa has been approved.

No no no, don't withdraw the money from the account, use that same fidelity acct. If u withdraw then you have shown to them that ur statement of acct is fake as they suspect, just do as I have stated earlier. U suppose don dey gate of ur bank by now

Just go to ur bank and request for a new statement of acct, from the date appearing on the previous one till now(ur previous 6months and the few months after u printed till now), just to be on a safer side annd to show the two are the same nd there's activities in d acct. Get a letter from the bank to stating the owner of the acct, when it was created on a letter head of the bank with signature and stamp of the bank
