Kevostica:What? |
veecovee:Any ideas why? |
bettercreature:My dear brother, Pastor Kumuyi never told his congregation not to "vote educated illitrate Pastor". He rarely comments on political issues or politicians. In fact, in one of his recent messages, he said he'll not use education as a yardstick in selecting his successor. He also never said he'll burn some of his "church doctrine" before he dies. All he said was that he will change some administrative structures, processes and procedures which he instituted in the church but are now either being abused or no longer serving their original purpose of advancing holiness. Bible doctrines are not man-made and cannot be revised by any man sir. God bless you! |
omonnakoda:While you are waiting for photos, she moved physically from Port Harcourt to her home town, Okrika same yesterday. |
Forgive me, but is this Bank not substantially Lagos State-owned? |
She arrived Port Harcourt today and is hale and hearty. Wish her well in post-Presidency life. Peace to all Nigerians irrespective of political affiliation or tribe. Let’s repent of our individual sins and seek divine intervention for our beloved country and the future of generations unborn. |
How much today? |
zik4ever:Hello! Anyone in the house? |
Born2berich:Dividend may be very poor! I hear the Bank had said it would only pay dividend from Q.4 earnings? |
Is this new?: A Kado Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja on Wednesday sentenced a student, Usman Yakubu, to six strokes of cane for stealing a pair of sandals at a shop. Yakubu, who lives at Kado Estate, Abuja, was arraigned on a charge of theft. The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, who handed down the verdict, said Yakubu was convicted following his guilty plea. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/abuja-court-orders-flogging-of-student-for-stealing-sandals/#sthash.tzy7hBLk.dpuf |
Please can anyone confirm reported violence alagedly involving aggrieved supporters of a political party this evening around Rumuokwurushi area of Port Harcourt? |
This chapter is forever closed. The church has moved on and is marching on. "The gates of hell shall not prevail against it". |
Scholar8200:Thanks to you and a few persons here. I was in the service and Pastor Kumuyi is being clearly misrepresented and/or quoted out of context here. He never said and cannot scrap any Bible doctrine. He was talking of administrative issues, structures and practices in the church. He specifically mentioned the marriage committee and women ministry as examples. It is still a settled scriptural doctrine that “the wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17). So if you claim you are an atheist on this forum or you are wicked (unrepentant sinner or unbeliever, backslider), your priority is to repent and be saved NOT commenting “adding sin to sin” while your eternity is uncertain and at risk. Repentance is a Bible doctrine; as restitution (returning al stolen goods); monogamy –one man, one wife till death. God exists and will judge you for your life including the comments you make here –the existence of God and judgment are Bible doctrines. Immorality will perpetually be condemned and judged. No true Christian ministry will ever “revise” its doctrine to permit women dressing nude or half-naked, adultery, fornication and worldliness. Heaven and Hell exists and are fundamental Bible doctrines. Your denial or insulting anyone or any institution won’t change anything. I leave you with these words from J.C.Ryle: “I ask you to mark what I am going to say. I say it calmly, deliberately, advisedly, and with all consideration. I tell you that at this moment there are only two places in which your sins can be, and I defy the wisdom of the world to find out a third. Either your sins are upon yourself, unpardoned, unforgiven, uncleansed, unwashed away –sinking you daily nearer to hell! Or else your sins are upon Christ, taken away, forgiven, pardoned, blotted out and cleansed away by Christ’s blood!”. |
Beloved brethren, he never said he will scrap any Bible doctrine. He was talking of some administrative structures, practices and procedures in the church. |
Desteenee:But how are they able to rig? What of the card reader? |
This article is by Mahmud Jega. Please do not come and insult me (the OP) because the views are his and not mine. He is entitled to his opinion just as you are entitled to yours! The much-awaited Presidential Election holds today. Millions of Nigerians all over the country will troop out to vote. Everyone who goes to the polls already knows who he or she is going to vote for. You have a reason for voting for that candidate. It is one or a combination of these reasons: I am voting for Goodluck Jonathan because... • I am a PDP member. • He is a Southerner. • He is a Christian. • He is from the Niger Delta. • He is from Bayelsa State • I believe in continuity. • He is a Ph D holder. • He performed very well in office. • Of his Transformation Agenda. • Of Vice President Namadi Sambo. • I want Mama Peace to continue as First Lady. • He gave women prominent cabinet positions. • He defeated Boko Haram in six weeks. • I don’t like General Muhammadu Buhari. • Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor supports him. • He was once a poor boy who had no shoes. • I don’t like APC leaders. • I am convinced by what Ayo Fayose said. • PDP gave me some money. • I fear trouble from ex-militants if he loses. I am voting for Muhammadu Buhari because... • I am an APC member. • He is a Northerner. • He is a Muslim. • He is from the North West Zone. • He is from Katsina State. • I support change. • He has personal integrity. • He will fight corruption. • Of Bola Tinubu. • Of his running mate Yomi Osinbajo. • Obasanjo endorsed him. • Of Rotimi Amaechi. • Of Atiku Abubakar • Kwankwasiyya group supports him. • I hate PDP. • I don’t like Goodluck Jonathan. • I want to spite Ayo Fayose. • I want Aisha Buhari to become First Lady. • APC gave me some money. • I fear trouble from Northerners if he loses. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/weekly/index.php/new-news/19491-20-reasons-why-you-made-your-choice |
OP, how far? I feel you. It’s really unacceptable. Airliners with fewer routes like Dana and First Nation appear more reliable these days. |
I really pity the way issues have been politicised and people polarised in this country. I pity more the people who spend productive time insulting each other over politicians whose primary interest is their personal interest. As for this particular report, no need to attack the OP irrespective of which side you belong. He only posted a story written by an online medium. As for the report itself, I can tell you that this elaborate security arrangement has been the long practice (not saying it’s necessarily the best) so it is very incorrect to tie it to the present President. Let’s stay on the issues and remain focused on preparing for our unborn generation and above all, for eternity. I look forward to being accused and insulted even for this comment! |
Hi all, i am due to travel to the Netherlands next month. Whats ypur advice about affordable flight options there from Abuja, Nigeria -BA, Air France KLM, Lufthansa etc? |
Jbenue:She is not a serving Senator. |
How much? |
Aks:Thanks but any thoughts on what the results would look like? Don't want to "deal blindly" so should we sell, buy or hold? |
How much? |
No picture? |
Do we know the promoters of Belema Oil other than Jackrich? |
How much? |
See another one about Arik Air. https://www.nairaland.com/2174454/arik-air-services-nothing-wtite#31222224 |
So sad. There was an earlier thread where people expressed reservations about Arik Air. https://www.nairaland.com/2134888/travel-experience-arik-airline |
I flew with Arik yesterday. Flight was on schedule and they obviously have good aircraft but in-flight service was the worst of all the domestic airlines I have flown recently. Their attitude was more like "we no send you"! |
Indeed very unacceptable! |
Any update on Arik Air or any of our local airlines these days at all? Planning a trip from Port Harcourt to Abuja and not ready for delays! |
