@Loco which other business is GSK looking at going into?

locodemy:
Gsk will handover the Agbara plant by 3rd quarter 2021 to fidson and laverage in other businesses in Nigeria and remain listed.until then, the value in fidson will unfold.

Gsk is the sector leader with less free float shares than fidson.I expect Gsk to gap up far above fidson despite results.

Note:If fidson should close at 6.50 today,I expect Gsk to close above 7.50.

Do you really want to do this? Share prices have gone north. Except you have long term in mind.... There is a chance that you can loss your money with market correction. It may be more prudent to wait for a correction, before you enter the market.

kalkah:
Where can we get the momentum, which stocks?
I am considering buying Total, kindly advice.

6000 pages ? Haba!

If you can go back to March 2020.. and read till date.. you will grasp something. There you will find great posts and contributions, theories ,recommendations and their underlying logic. It won't make you a 'guru' but at least You should get a grip of what's going on generally.

BigBashiru:
This thread is 6000 pages long - is it even possible to go through it from page 1??
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zimams: 2:57pm On Nov 13, 2020
Yes ..I think it caused fright..

Mcy56:

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zimams: 1:04pm On Nov 13, 2020
I feel some folks might be privy to Fugaz results.. the way bank stocks are being cornered...

Virtually Every offer around Fugaz was swallowed yesterday.

No wonder the 'kamba bushing of the Bull' over heat yesterday.. leading to activation of circuit breakers by the NSE.. grin grin

Princkez:
I ask again..were are FUGAZ q3 result, abi python don swallow am? grin grin

Honestly this is what I'm waiting for...
UBA & Access haven't ridden this Bull as I expected. Seeing late 10's towards 11 today will be encouraging. grin

PharmAlfred:
To think that Access Bank and UBA have not made a new high is crazy. What is actually holding those 2 banks. They deserve to be in 13 to N15 range given what we have seen in the market so far. Tueh.

I jumped out of my Dangcem at 160 last week.
I wan cry today.. 40 upside since last week...

ukay2:
grin grin grin grin

But anyone that entered Dangcem, Zenith and other fundamental stocks will still continue to chop dividend payments and average down if market crashes soon
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zimams: 3:55pm On Nov 12, 2020
The train has left the station.
hold your cash and wait for pull back. The risk of losing money grows exponentially every day of this Bull Run' (For those wanting to enter the market now).

WantsandMore:
I have been observing dangote sugar since its inception into the NSE and currently it stock sells @ a relatively higher price compared to months ago. Does anyone have insight or opinions as to wether or not the shares be a good pick or long term hold. As I'm scared of its falling.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zimams: 3:50pm On Nov 12, 2020
yea i recall this happened in 2008 to stop loss... the ASI was collapsing too quickly at the time.
NSE applied breaks.

Parisfran:
I know once in 2008 it was because of loss. The other time I can remember was for gain, I think in it was 2018 but I’m not sure of the year.

Happy Birthday @OGG
Great guy!!
I wish you every good tiding in your new year.

onegentleguy:
Of course, the parent company could decide to buy-out minority holders.
However, my recommendation was strictly based on fundamental analysis.(a deep one though)
With GSK(like NEIMETH back then), only the discerning eyes can see the HIDDEN VALUE !! wink cheesy grin

But if an acquisition/buy-out does happen, then all the better !! ...GSK as I stated here back then, is also on the list of possible candidate/target.
Whatever happens(value proposition through fundamentals or buy-out), it'll most likely be @ a GREAT PREMIUM from the current mkt price.
As I said before, the present mkt price is by far, way too cheap !! Feasible REWARD is clearly making a mockery of risk(RR in view)
If the coy were to be selling for N11.70 or an 8-10.5% discount from that price, then we could begin to attach an intrinsic peg to it, but which(compared to peers) would even still be underpriced.(don't know if u understood this line bro)

I can't fit shout !! wink cheesy grin

It is well.

ETI is Ecobank.
And that is the one I feel might do N8+ with market sentiments. They don't pay dividends so I approach it strictly for capital gains.

This is my thinking ... I may be wrong. Please do you due diligence.

cucumbar:
for which of them, please?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zimams:
Lol..

19 is ambitious o..
Also consider that investors are likely to hold out more tenaciously than we saw in March. Things have to get very bad for GT to fall that low...

My thoughts anyway. I may be wrong.

megawealth01:
Who says it won't get to km19?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zimams: 9:32pm On Oct 21, 2020
Nah...
It presents an opportunity.

People increased their stakes in value stocks this morning during the initial drop. For instance - WAPCO was sighted at 16.40 this morning.

OBAGADAFFI:
Wow, the country is hot right now, we should careful in the buying Nigerian stocks
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zimams: 11:26am On Oct 21, 2020
This your comment is funny to me.

Both events are mutually exclusive. In the sense that one does not invalidate the other. This market means different things to different people. For some it holds 10% or less of their networth and for others 50% or more.

So irrespective of what's happening, some of us will keep our eyes here. And it does not invalidate concern or outrage for what happened at the protests yesterday.

Krisuba:
I wisj there is away to scatter this market. D country is on fire and all some people is thinking is money!! Y not shut down trading

Thanks for this video.

Does anyone know or have user experience of the 2014 x5 x35i (F15)? What is it's cost of ownership in Nigeria ? And how reliable is this machine?

Miee:
What is it about BMW that gets people talking? What are the general problems with BMW? Is it really a bunch of scrap put together or is it a piece of German engineering that is misunderstood?

I made a video about the 2020 BWM X5 and I haven’t any major wrong. Please share your thoughts. You can click on the link below to watch the video and hit subscribe so you don’t miss any fun content on the channel. Have a beautiful week ahead.

You' should still get it.
Did you fill out and submit an e-dividend mandate form to the Registrar? You will need to do this if you haven't.

kaynett:
Haaa! shocked

I'm surprised because I'm yet to receive mine, or is it paid 8n batches? I bought FMN shares through the Investnow app on the14th July 2020.

I just checked and my date of purchase was way before the announcement date, qualification date, and closure of regisTer.

Good grin
This is how you should have started your post my good brother.

Inserted btwn each negative is an opportunity.

My people say 'there is money in-between torns'.

BrokerHaruna:
The above was not meant to frighten folks, rather to highlight the realities in our climes. The expectation, however, is that huge transfer of wealth will be effected as the shocks take place. Serious minded investors need only to position and take advantage of the emerging opportunities that will surely manifest.
