BENGALURU: The Bengaluru police have arrested two Nigerian students for allegedly selling cocaine in the city.

The students have been identified as Chinedu Obhali [32] and Sopuruchi Mensah Godwin [30], both living in the Chikkagubbi locality of Bengaluru. They are students of a private college in Chikkagubbi.

Police said the duo were found to be selling cocaine in 10 gm packets to college students and foriegners in Bengaluru. They buy the drug from another Nigerian in Mumbai.

According to the police, the two men came to India on student visas which would expire on September 17, 2017.

A case has been registered against the two students under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Forensic Act and Passport Act.

A Tinubu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Wednesday remanded a 23-year-old housekeeper, Henry Iruma-Egana, who allegedly stole his employer’s credit card to purchase goods online.

The Magistrate, Mrs F.O. Ikobayo, remanded the housekeeper pending ruling his bail application.

She adjourned the case to November 30 for the ruling.

The accused pleaded not guilty.



The prosecutor, Insp. Richard Odigie, had told the court that the accused cloned Mr. Godwin Okoh’s credit card on November 16 and used it to buy goods worth N 328,000.

He said that the accused used the credit card to pay for a home theatre, laptop and cellphone he purchased on Konga.com.

He said, “Okoh received alert of withdrawal of N187,500, N68,000 and N73,000 respectively on Nov. 16 and 17, and then went to his bank to report the withdrawals.

“The theft was traced to the accused.”

The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

A United States of America (USA) hopeful from Umuaka community in Imo State has been found dead after he was found hanging.

The young man whose name could not be ascertained was in his mid-30s. Members of Umuaka autono­mous community had woken up to find the deceased hanging on the roof of a house.

Items allegedly re­covered from the late young man in­clude documents that showed that he was due to depart Njaba to La­gos for onward move­ment to America.

The documents include internation­al passport and Visa found by his dangling feet by sympathizers who thronged the ven­ue.

Efforts to get more information proved abortive as no one had any information as to why he committed su­icide.

Meanwhile, his re­mains have been bur­ied after measures were taken to cleanse the land.

Zinachidi, you can see where it is written -SIM, and the second photo, where it was written SD CARD. The two slots are on the side of the Tablet, left hand side in particular.

I could have snapped full picture of the Tablet showing these SLOTS, but then you'll be unable to read the inscription SD CARD and SIM as the letters will now be too tiny to comprehend, so I brought the camera closer.

The Tablet is scratchless, bought it over 60k, box and charger are available. No issues whatsoever, selling because I'll be posted for NYSC and man need money.
