@Ma$e, I will suggest you let buyers know the price. It will help generate interest in your vehicle. The fact that you have provided the VIN is a major plus for you - it shows you have nothing to hide and buyers can easily and quickly check it out. All the best. @Ma$e, I just realised that I put out this posting almost the same time as your last posting, so, good you now have the price. |
@Kuntash, thanks for your request. I am not fighting anyone o. I have already humbled myself and apologised to those I may have offended in the past. Please send more detailed specification to me at "straighttalk60@gmail.com" e.g. 1. Do you want Leather or not 2. Do you prefer Highlander Limited, Sport or Regular 3. Are you flexible on the colours. 4. Any other info |

@idupaul, I already announced on nairaland during the madness that I have my car on the way - so, nothing to hide here. Apparently, everyone is aware except you. And by the way, I have been an advocate of VIN number for a very long time on this forum. I suggest you get your facts right before speaking on the forum here - simple check on my past postings would have educated you a bit. |
Nairalanders, please watch out for my car!! It will soon be on the way and Inspired will help me advertise it on his thread. By God's Grace, it will not be long before you all see the pictures. Stay Tuned! |
I am really enjoying this!! Lagos sun and sun on the vessel will dry flooded car!! Abeg, let me leave these ignorant people, they are really cracking me up, I can't stop laughing!! ![]() |
Hurricane Ike hit Texas and you immediately ship your vehicle to nigeria - how dumb! Intelligent crooks dry the car for a few months before selling otherwise you will smell the damp and mildew! ![]() |
Hahaha!! Please help me advertise the Car very well! I will really appreciate it. So you think I will bring flooded vehicle to Nigeria to sell? My brother, the VIN number will be written all over nairaland. I don't just talk the talk, I walk the walk. What type of car dealer do you think I am? Western Avenue breed or what? I guess you think every car dealer is like you. Even if I don't say a word about the VIN, nairalanders can trust what I bring. This is what INTEGRITY is all about. I don't have to prove myself or clear myself of anything. You can trust that Ziontrain will give you the real deal!! Let me just give you a piece of advice, if you want to fight me here, you will have to contend with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit! The battle is not mine! |
@Fhemmmy, yes, I can tell even though he did not say it, Inspired is "truly sorry, very sorry indeed for the incident". I can sense it from his posting that he is "very, very sorry and remorseful indeed". It seems he has learnt a lot from the incident or don't you think so? I am happy you noted it was an ugly incident. |
Pastor Inspired, I will not join issues with you. I just wondered where your Bible was when you were doing all what you were doing. Amazing!! Inspired now quoting Bible, hmmmm - Praise the Lord! |
Nairalanders, in the spirit of unity, I will suggest we let sleeping dogs lie at this time. I believe by now people will have made up their minds about last week's incident. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of humility and sheer arrogance of Inspired. I would have thought that by now, he would have chosen the path of honour and humbled himself a bit and taken things easy but for reasons best known to him he has chosen this path of arrogance. My impression is that he is a young man but if he continues this way, he may end up learning humility in a very bitter and hard way. Let's just leave him alone for now even if he thinks he's gotten away unscathed. I assure you, he hasn't. Just be patient and wait. |
@Ivvie, Thank you very much. You have answered my question. And also thanks for even throwing more light on the VIN issue. |
@Ivvie, thanks for your contribution. I do understand your point perfectly. Let me just ask you one question. If you are a dealer that is honest (let's just assume you are a dealer at this point even though you may not be one), and you want to advertise your vehicle on this forum and you know that with VIN number, CARFAX report will show the history of your vehicle and you have nothing to hide, will you or will you not post the VIN number of the vehicle to re-assure buyers in view of what has been happening on this forum recently. Just answer YES or NO and that will be fine. I submit to you that any dealer that is uncomfortable with posting VIN number of his vehicle after all these recent aggravation on the forum most likely has something to hide. |
@Ivvie, I beg to differ with respect to dealers on nairaland. I will want to believe that majority of dealers here are transparent and honest. It's just a few bad eggs that have been giving us problems. However, let me quickly add that they are now beginning to tow the line of honesty and transparency. Also, on the issue of VIN numbers - it is not the VIN per se that we are interested in but the CARFAX report. The VIN is just the information you need in order to obtain this report. We all know that this is not a substitute for due diligence but at least from the get go, you may be able to find out from CARFAX if it is even worth your while inspecting the vehicle. In addition to this, odometer rollback issue can and has been detected just by looking at the CARFAX report so, if you lift VIN number from anywhere and post it here, CARFAX can and will expose it - It happened recently on nairaland where a poster mistakenly posted a wrong VIN number. I will recommend having access to CARFAX report before even taking a look at any vehicle - In order to do this as mentioned earlier, YOU NEED THE VIN NUMBER. I am sure a lot of nairalanders are beginning to see the advantage of CARFAX particularly in view of the happenings of the last week. I say this with humility and not out of disrespect but diminishing the importance of VIN number at this point, in my opinion will be a bit naive. |
@Ezecar, expensive is relative my brother. What is important is to compare apples with apples and oranges with oranges. The other cars you are comparing with nairaland cars - have you tried to obtain their VIN numbers and run a check on them? I assure you, most of those cars, you will find out, are salvaged, flooded and/or "disused" vehicles in the US. These are what make them cheap - no one will buy them in the US as the government will not allow them on the road in their condition. Most dealers on nairaland are honest and transparent particularly with VIN number. I will rather settle for them than buy a cheap car without knowing its history. |
@Phammyus, I am happy about the way you're presenting your vehicles - VIN number, correct mileage. Now anyone interested can run a check. |
@Sledjama, in view of what has happened on the forum in the past few days, I think it will be helpful if you provide the VIN number. No one is trying to hound you here but in the spirit of unity, let us all come together and be as transparent and upfront as possible. If there is nothing to hide, it will be really great if you can post this VIN number. |
Gentlemen, I think in the spirit of unity we should avoid reducing this forum to a medium for personal attacks. If you have a point or observation about the way business is being conducted, you can make it known in a civil manner otherwise, let's just move on and get on with business. |
Nairalanders, to all those who I may have offended in anyway during this last episode, I hereby humbly tender my unreserved apology. I trust we have all learnt a lesson or two from it and will now come together in the spirit of unity to move this forum ahead. Once again please accept my sincere apology. |
@Siga, you are really cracking me up! I can't stop laughing! |
@Pennywise, I just want to make a contribution regarding your second point about VIN number as I have chosen to leave Inspired alone. How are you supposed to do due diligence and proper assessment on a vehicle you want to purchase if you don't have the VIN number? How are you supposed to know if vehicle was stolen or flooded? Give me one legitimate reason why it is a bad idea to provide VIN number UPFRONT. I agree VIN number does not mean vehicle will run smoothly but at least it will give you the history. That to me is of paramount importance. I am sorry but I humbly submit to you that your argument is standing on a very weak foundation. |
@Pastor_t, I am not sure nigeria government will categorise SUVs as buses/trucks. You may want to double-check with customs. I will play safe and get one less than 10 years old. Also, think about it, what do you want to do with an SUV that's over 10 years old? I will not recommend you buy it. |

@Godalone, thank you very much. It feels good to be appreciated. |
JENJU!! MORE VASELINE TO YOUR ELBOW MY BROTHER!! CONGRATS - YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN! THANK YOU FOR STANDING UP FOR HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY. |
Mr. Emperoh, Emperor of LIES!! You said you have METICULOUSLY FOLLOWED MY POSTINGS. Well, if you have, you would have seen the list of inspired boyboys there - I MENTIONED EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM BY NAME. I have not accused inspired of anything. All I have said is that I am beginning to think that most likely he is crooked (as he has refused to post VIN numbers of his vehicles based on allegations currently hanging over his head) and that he and Yahoo are birds of the same feather (it has been proven that this is true in past postings MR. METICULOUS - It is no more an accusation but a fact). Inspired still has a very small window left to redeem himself. Inspired has promised to release VIN numbers of his vehicles and I have decided to leave him alone. I think this is fair game. We are still waiting for the VIN numbers. I will advice that you go find a dictionary and check the meaning of METICULOUS. |
Good that you have decided post VIN numbers with all your vehicles. This is what we expect from nairalanders. Hope others will follow. |
@Stonedlive, thanks for your contribution. I had decided to leave this man alone before he sent his boyboys after me. Everyone knows my agenda on this forum from the get go. IT IS TO SANITISE THIS FORUM AND RID IT OF UNSCRUPULOUS DEALERS SELLING FLOODED AND DANGEROUS CARS AS GOOD VEHICLES. I HAVE NEVER GONE AFTER ANYBODY - NEVER. Even this Inspired, I am still saying he can redeem himself. Once again, I will choose to stay quiet and leave Inspired alone to redeem himself but if any of his boys throw any filth or insult my way, I will have to respond. |
@Jonjay. OK I will check it. |
IF YOU THINK INSPIRED_M MAN WILL WIGGLE AWAY WITHOUT POSTING VIN NUMBER - THINK AGAIN!! THIS WILL BE A BIG MISTAKE!! |
