nobody should think he/she is over righteous and above sin.
Everyone can sin. As much as I love Apostle Suleman I don't support the way he responded. It does not have any way of being right in it. He could have subtlety replied. Not the "stupid" somfin

Religion / Re: Fornication Is Not Just Sleeping With Someone You Are Not Married To... by ZiriMane(m): 5:06pm On Sep 29, 2019
paxonel:
my guy, people marry in bible days without any wedding ceremony.
bf and gf is relationship without any wedding ceremony.

Therefore bf and gf = marriage in bible days.

Do you get that?

show me where you got this knowledge from. Before then Read these scriptures and see God's view concerning marriage
Matthew 24:38
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Matthew 25:10
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Luke 17:27
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luke 20:34
And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
John 2:1
And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

it isn't fornication when both of them involved are faithful to each other. Infact, at that point they are better than married people who are cheating on one another.

Now, contrary to what we think fornication is, that it means sex involving unmarried people. Here is the Bible's view of what fornication means.

1 Corinthians 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

So, fornication means a young man having sex with his father's wife or a young woman having sex with her mother's husband.

In general, it means sex with a close relation.

where are your scripture to support this falsehood?

All I'm letting you is, it is possible to be faithful to a bf and gf relationship just like marriage

if you have a good command of simple English you wouldn't be saying this!
1 Corinthians 7:2
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

note: have a wife or a husband to avoid fornication

Galatians 5:19
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Ephesians 5:3
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Acts 15:29
That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

please take no offence, but taking the bible out of context portrays ur lack of intelligible reasoning.
sexual relationship outside marriage by an unmarried person or persons is called fornication. When it is perpetrated by a married person outside marriage it is called Adultery

Fornication is also when you cheat on your bf or gf, not only husband and wife cheating

Christians are not meant to have any form of sexual relationship outside or before marriage anything contrary is sin.

This is not a tribalism topic except you don’t like good things.

mentioning a particular region can incite tribalism nuances whether you like it or not
in your bid to praise good things you highlighted your ineptitude to decipher good morals and instead opted to promote the notoriety of Tribalism and Nepotism.

Mr. Good Things please be guided don't be a slag to this notoriety don't slag off

Nairaland / General / How to Identify the best ADVICE for You On Nairaland by ZiriMane(m): 9:43am On Sep 25, 2019
I decided to write this post because of what Nairaland stands for, for many people. Many has taken this forum to be their place to call whenever they are in a dire situation, not realizing they may be open to various form of criticism and misleading advice or information. In as much it is a forum where we can share our problems in the hope of seeking solutions, advice or information we should be careful not to be carried away by the tide and watch out for these for the best of experiences
1. The most liked/shared comments on the topic:
Most people would support a comment that they can relate to with a like . A liked comment invariably interprets for support so the more the likes the greater the support.
2. The 'Understandability' of the advise
When you see an advise that you feel you can relate to or probably that is most supported, it is wise not to just to jump into conclusions as some of the messages may be hidden between lines. The best thing to do is to understand the message by carefully reading it to see if it actually relates and can also be applied to your situation.
3. Play it out in your head
Most advise you may get here may not necessarily be the best for you because each and every human is unique in a different way. Humans are varying in temperament, that is to say our reactions to situations may be different-what may work for a Sanguine may not work well for a Melancholic , and what may work for a Melancholic may not work well for a Choleric . Understand your temperament or the other party's own before you carry out any application of the advice you've gotten.
4. Get out of your head and live it!
Once you understand how it may turn out to be, don't sit back not carrying out. Live It! or you may just end up with regrets.
5. Write another post to thank Nairalandlers
Appreciation is key to receiving more help. A Yoruba adage says: A child that give thanks for yesterday would live to receive another. Many people post there problems looking for solutions but after they get them they leave helpers in the blue regarding the later outcome of the situation and this is very bad. If it goes well, remember to appreciate.

PS (disclaimer): not all 'most liked' is useful. Filter to what suits your "interest"

in Nigeria "Education has fallen" we go to sch for relevance and to be frank it is a mediocre because this institutions often rely on past glories and achievements

no one takes education serious anymore in this country that's y our people flock to Benin and Ghana for higher studies

until we begin to question what we've called conventions then there is no way forward

we don't just want high rise buildings without facilities to make them function

craft development center with no state of the art facilities
I don't think that's what we want
I actually don't know about the degree of mechanization this building houses for proper craft development...
