nobody should think he/she is over righteous and above sin. Everyone can sin. As much as I love Apostle Suleman I don't support the way he responded. It does not have any way of being right in it. He could have subtlety replied. Not the "stupid" somfin |
paxonel:show me where you got this knowledge from. Before then Read these scriptures and see God's view concerning marriage Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, Matthew 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Luke 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. |

paxonel:if you have a good command of simple English you wouldn't be saying this! 1 Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. note: have a wife or a husband to avoid fornication Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Acts 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. |
paxonel:please take no offence, but taking the bible out of context portrays ur lack of intelligible reasoning. sexual relationship outside marriage by an unmarried person or persons is called fornication. When it is perpetrated by a married person outside marriage it is called Adultery |
paxonel:Christians are not meant to have any form of sexual relationship outside or before marriage anything contrary is sin. |
BuhariAdvocate:but it seems it does u #TeamOneNigeria #TeamEqualNigeria #TeamRestructuring |
BuhariAdvocate:mentioning a particular region can incite tribalism nuances whether you like it or not in your bid to praise good things you highlighted your ineptitude to decipher good morals and instead opted to promote the notoriety of Tribalism and Nepotism. Mr. Good Things please be guided don't be a slag to this notoriety don't slag off |
Please don't make racist and tribalistic comments on this section this is the warning from Nairaland but when this OP uses unnecessary connotations to incite tribalistic nonsense that's a clear show of dumbness |
so you are trying to tell us that divorce is a beautiful thing or what? ok now that we know?... our husband has gone mad again... oya divorce him Nonsense and Tacha |
save your head first o... if u don't want to end up saying "I saw the signs, had I known" pls woman run. he clearly has a thing for the other lady, you heard it yourself on phone no be say na reported speech. avoid that life of depression now, avoid that life of divorce now, avoid that life of STD now. a man May change and he may not but signs don't lie |
I decided to write this post because of what Nairaland stands for, for many people. Many has taken this forum to be their place to call whenever they are in a dire situation, not realizing they may be open to various form of criticism and misleading advice or information. In as much it is a forum where we can share our problems in the hope of seeking solutions, advice or information we should be careful not to be carried away by the tide and watch out for these for the best of experiences 1. The most liked/shared comments on the topic: Most people would support a comment that they can relate to with a like . A liked comment invariably interprets for support so the more the likes the greater the support. 2. The 'Understandability' of the advise When you see an advise that you feel you can relate to or probably that is most supported, it is wise not to just to jump into conclusions as some of the messages may be hidden between lines. The best thing to do is to understand the message by carefully reading it to see if it actually relates and can also be applied to your situation. 3. Play it out in your head Most advise you may get here may not necessarily be the best for you because each and every human is unique in a different way. Humans are varying in temperament, that is to say our reactions to situations may be different-what may work for a Sanguine may not work well for a Melancholic , and what may work for a Melancholic may not work well for a Choleric . Understand your temperament or the other party's own before you carry out any application of the advice you've gotten. 4. Get out of your head and live it! Once you understand how it may turn out to be, don't sit back not carrying out. Live It! or you may just end up with regrets. 5. Write another post to thank Nairalandlers Appreciation is key to receiving more help. A Yoruba adage says: A child that give thanks for yesterday would live to receive another. Many people post there problems looking for solutions but after they get them they leave helpers in the blue regarding the later outcome of the situation and this is very bad. If it goes well, remember to appreciate. PS (disclaimer): not all 'most liked' is useful. in Nigeria "Education has fallen" we go to sch for relevance and to be frank it is a mediocre because this institutions often rely on past glories and achievements no one takes education serious anymore in this country that's y our people flock to Benin and Ghana for higher studies until we begin to question what we've called conventions then there is no way forward from a concerned Nigerian |
