ShowYoung: Your information is correct but kindly let me call your attention to the fact that he will only need WES if applying for PR but without a Canadian qualification as highest qualification.
If a Canadian qualification will be used as a highest qualification in PR application, there will be no need for credential evaluation. Ohk. |

Adabakee: Please house my friend is applying for student visa this week but he used micro finance to run his pof now I want to transfer 5million to his personal account to print also to support his pof i learnt we are to explain where the lumpsum is coming from....please my question is what can we write to cover up thus money since its coming from a friend. Please help us out we dnt want to make mistakes or if there is any better option on how to drop that money in his account and be on a safe side please I guess it's not late, move those funds from microfinance bank to a normal conventional bank and explain the money trail by attaching Statement of accts of both banks with a letter of explanation and reference letter from the microfinance bank if he doesn't want to chop a big L. I would have suggested you do a gift deed for him, but you will have to extensively explain why you are dashing a friend 5m to support his education. |

Kels4real: Hello wonderful people, I am so impressed with the information you're sharing for us in this group. God bless you all and I pray God will grant our hearts desires. Please I have some questions to ask.
Presently I and my partner are currently in the uk on student visa (2years) , she will finish 2024 May. My concern now is that I want to apply to any college in Canada to get student visa because we dont have the fund for another master in Canada and I don't want to declear her master certificate. Won't they ask what we are doing in uk? I mean work experience and the likes? They will ask what you are doing in UK because they will definitely find out that you have been in UK for over a year now, and they will eventually find out its for a MSc program which you were silent on in your application which will be taken as misinterpretation. So it's inevitable since you are currently in UK. Go for a diploma program and allow your SOP do the work explaining why you have to do a diploma program in Canada despite having done MSc in UK. |

Nwokolo100: Good morning all. Thanks for all the information, it's been so helpful.
I wanted to ask whether COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory before the medicals administered? Or even before travel. Must the certificate be presented? If you have never taken any covid 19 vaccination then it's not necessary |

donbuchi1: Good morning to the Gurus in the house, please help with your input. I just received my GCMS note. I have considered the following factors in my decision. Majority of funds available on file is an investment account. I have concerns that the funds would be sufficient and available for the proposed studies. Weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For this reason above I have refused this application.
Most of the funds where in an investment account. I have liquidated and put the funds in my accounts should I go ahead and reapply or leave the funds in my account for sometime before I reapply. That's a good step. It's even possible your first sop didn't do justice enough to explain this investment account and how the funds can be eaaily accessed. So make sure your sop captures all that. Also re evaluate using new cad rate. |

DanielDriz: Warm Regards everyone
Please i will appreciate it if i get a response to this mail.
I have recently gathered all my documents for application to Seneca College in Toronto, Canada A lot of persons have tried to discourage me that since it is a college, denial from the embassy is on a high side. However,I choose not to believe this.
I would also like to know if i should apply for a one year program or a two years program. Furthermore, What are my chances of getting a PR if i eventually opt in for a one year program while getting a one year PGWP?
Lastly, when is the appropriate time to apply for a January 2024 intake? Thanks
Yours Sincerely, Danieldriz. Certainly false. Alot of ppl here have gotten visa approvals for various colleges including this Seneca College. Infact I even hardly see universities here. Most are colleges either for post secondary diploma programs or graduate diploma programs Go for what your funds can comfortably cover considering the exchange rate now. Also you can do 1+1 in Cananda if 2 years pgwp is your concern. Meaning you go for a 1 year study then go for another on completion of first program and extend you study permit in Canada. Yes you can get PR with 1 year program |

chrisifeanyi: Good afternoon, How can someone explain the source of fund totalling over 30M for POF which the person won from sport betting? Can the person open another account, transfer the fund to the new account and gave it a description? Someone help pls. Best bet is pay that money into your acct. Leave it there for 5 months. By the time you print SOA, opening and closing acct balance will be same or even more. During that period, use the acct for daily business transactions, then hopefully you have a CAC registered business. With that, you explain the Funds. |

Blesso222: Happy new month nairalanders.
Please I need help, advice and guidance. I recently secured admission for a one year program. My tuition is 16,000 cad. I having been working for five years now. My brother who is supposed to be my co-sponsor is self employed and his company is not registered, he operates a normal savings account which runs in millions. I intend to show proof of 15m in my savings and salary account.
Should I use my brother as co-sponsor or my boss at work who I am not related to.
I really need your advice, because I’m confused
Thank you Use your brother. It's easier. Effort will be put in to explain your brother source of income instead. |

GeneralChuck: My application was reviewed less than one months. I submitted documents that the agent asked me to gather including the ones I saw from this forum.... study plan (as they called it "less than a page" POF ( personal account " did not bother to include my company account" 2 Land Documents and 1 property under tenancy certificate to operate pawn and thrift in my State Email response for residency application at Fanshawe tuition deposite receipt LOA Tax returns for my Company CAC certificate . int passport Self sponsor letter These are the documents I submitted
Also, I truly agree on the part of getting a professional with my SOP " I wrote it myself and have no idea if the agents even read through or made any reviews before submitting "
My brother will come in probably as the main sponsor for the tuition while I cover the living expenses and miscellaneous, I am not actively working and my supposed company account doesn't have enough active financial activities to be brought forward as at the time I was compiling my documents. I hope to reapply so any form of guidance would be fully appreciated . Thank you We can work on your sop. Let me see the one you submitted. Send me a mail |

onyekachee: as a self sponsor, you are expected to pay your full tuition for one year, you can still reapply if you get your note on time against fall,if the money for tuition is available then just pay the complete fees then let your brother in USA send money for the living expenses..then you are good to go Who says he is expected to pay for his tuition for 1 year? |

CannyNomad: Hi Bobomaigida, thanks for your response. Not sure if you uynderstand me correctly. The Statement would be for four months but one month old. e.g March to June Statement but submitted Around August or late July. Also, does it have to be notarized. Thanks again. Well, due to the current unstable rate, they might just ask you to send in updated SOA. So make plans to have the funds there incase you are asked to send updated SOA. You don't have to notarize it |

GeneralChuck: Hello everyone, I am new on Nairaland and I was denied study visa yesterday. I have been following this thread randomly but I need answers and guidance from the gurus in the house. I went for a one year certificate program and was denied yesterday 28th June reason bothering not having enough funds to pay the remaining balance of tuition and don't believe I will return back to Nigeria after completion of studies, I'm still in shock and I've not ordered for gcms note yet. Also, I applied through an agent and think it wise to inform them on the latest update on my visa application. but I wish to reapply but I don't know if its for the next academic session starting May 2024 or still for this session starting September 5 2023 pardon my confusion. I was the sole sponsor for this denied application but I intend adding my brother that resides in the USA as my co-sponsor for the next application. Suggestions and advice from the gurus in the house would be much appreciated at this point. Please, kindly reach out to me in this thread I wait for your replies. Thank you. Give more details or your previous application and what form of sponsorship your brother is bringing in then you will get good feedbacks. Also, you might have to get a more professional help with your sop. Finally, if you have been actively working or doing business then your brother can only be a co sponsor. That would make more sense. Probably you sponsor yourself for living expenses and miscellaneous while he covers tuition |

Bobomaigida: IRCC requirement is at least 4 months, however, some people have submitted shorter periods, but they will have to explain why they are submitted such periods. Well, I submitted 2 months and 2 weeks and was approved without explaining why it was shorter. I just feel if you don't have volatile balance and convincing explanation of source of income, they wouldn't bother about duration of SOA used |
