She gotten her visitor visa last month and before her visa came out she has applied for study permit, the problem now is that she as gotten a medical request and she’s in the middle of backoff from study permit due to financial reason.

She as paid tuition deposit to conestoga $1500, how can she retrieve the funds ?

She was suggesting that maybe she should denied the medical so the VO can refuse her and use the refusal letter for refund?

What if she did the medical and IRCC request for her passport for visa stamp, and she gotten the study permit can she use her visitor visa to travel later while she was having study permit on the same int passport?

I noticed you gotten your visitor visa and study permit?

Have you travel for your study? If Yes does your visitor visa was canceled ?

Or the two visa i.e (Visitor and study permit) can be used in the same int passport or the boarder officer will cancel one?

They can't cancel one because the visas are independent. Mind you, for the study visa, you told them you plan to leave immediately after your study so why would they cancel your multiple entry visit visa.

I haven't traveled yet but I think you might have issue at POE if you want to enter with a visit visa when your school has resumed and in session. Your motive will be questioned.
When does your friend resume? Let's say she is due to resume January 2024, and she decides to enter anytime this year with her visit visa then it's logical and she shouldn't have issue at POE as long as she answers all questions pertaining to her purpose of visit. My own logical reasoning

thanks for your response, she is my sibling, so by virtue of birth certificate , that is how i established our relationship. She owns a beauty salon and regsitered one under CAC. she finished sec sch in 2012 and ond in 2017. ever since then she has been into beauty care services and salon though she does no have a bank account for the business she uses her savings account for the business, she is married and she has a child with her husband though her account does not really have large flows like that until i give her 10,000 cad dollars for part payment for tution fees and 3m for gift deed.Her program is 4 years program, i have a turn over of 80m with with account balance of 22m. I prove my source of income with some business invoice, cac certificate, tax clearance certificate, landed properties, anti money Laundary certificates, business registration certificate, bank statements, certificate of lagos state real estate regulation Authority, all these documents have used to get visas into Britain,Ireland and Schenghen countries. So what else can i do for her, just want help her , how can we tweak this application, can we just wait for next admission round or whats the best thing to do, does the denial has anything to do with my supporting documents or what, advise is welcom

Certainly that your closing balance doesn't cover the 4 years. But I don't know how they did the sop to assure you are capable to continue to fund the rest of the program. Can I see the sop.
Also will need to see how the sop linked her business with the business administration.

Give more information on your pof. She had 2 reasons for the refusal. Insufficient finance and purpose of visit. What is she currently doing and what was she going to study? What's her educational gap?

As for the POF, what's the tuition of her program and the duration of program. Then we can know what is the required Funds.

As sponsor, what docs did you submit?
Sponsorship letter, gift deed, docs to prove your source of income? Proof of relationship btw both of u? Pics of both of you? Evidence to probably show previous assistance? These And many more.
Finally, what's the sop like??

You keep asking how much you should use for your opening balance. I wonder the kind of response you are expecting. Here is mine. Deposit 20m. Let it be your opening balance after 3 months duration.

For his business, you have to show backdated old receipts showing that business have been running and active for years even though not registered. Not just receipts, invoices of purchases, receipts, waybill, pics, tenancy agreement of office space etc. Anything to show it has been running for years and still running. Then if he has any assets, attach as well.

I want to understand you because you obviously don't know how this is calculated.
If you want to show pof for a year, you have to add annual tuition, living expenses of 10k and miscellaneous of 4k.
Now this your 18k barely covers 14k living expenses and miscellaneous. So is the 4k for tuition ot what?
I assumed the 18k is tuition alone, so your funds can't even cover for one year.

No. If you do thar, your visa will be canceled. You can only defer your admission in that school and ensure you travel within the validity of the issued visa.

But the problem is that my brother is self employed as an engineer. He does not have a register company or business, but he has landed properties. Please how do I proof his source of income?

Secondly, I am still trying to put my pof together, and I have till July 17th to make payment for acceptance fees, then second payment by august 3rd. Can I write to the school to give me 2 more weeks to make payment?

Yes you can use your brother. How much is your bro SOA going to bring in? Then you will have to prove hos source of income and his credibility to be a worthy sponsor.

Ppl with BSc have gone for diploma and gotten Visa. It's basically how you package the sop and the importance of that diploma program to your work or business.

How many years were you planning to show for your pof? You don't have to show Funds for the whole 4 years though but if you can, why not?

If your tuition is 18k per year. Your 14m will not even cover one year if you planned to show one year pof.

That shouldn't be what is driving you to do a 4 years program. Do you have the pof for 4 years? So you don't chop several refusals oo.

If it's the years if pgwp you are more concerned about, you can go for 2 years then once you done can do another program. But it's not even necessary when ppl have done 1 year program and gotten PR

For example, for egyptair air, if the stop over period btw when you arrived Cairo and when the flight leaves for Toronto is over 6 hours, you will need a yellow card. If it's less, you don't need one.
Guess it's a travel agent booking the flight for you. Would have advised you to call their customer care to confirm all this yourself.

1. Between college and university which one is good considering the cost and working years after graduation

2. If I apply for BSC will I stand a chance to get admitted

3. Which school are you advicing me to go to considering having HND?

4. Is it okay to use my parents as sponsor or use my own account for statement of account?

1. Both of them are good. Infact some graduate dipma courses prepare and equip you enough to immediately attack the labour market plus their tution are relatively cheaper and easier to get admission.

2. Why not go for diploma program. Well, you have a good chance to get admission into a BSc program

3. Check for colleges

4. You can use your parents, or yourself.

Final advice, before you start applying to get that admission, I will advise you cool down and calculate your pof. Not when you apply and get a 4 years BSc program of annual tuition of 18k CAD, you will now start battling with pof. Check your budget and let it guide your choice of school or program.

If you don't have it then it's not compulsory. You can use receipts, invoices, pics, waybills, invoices of import/purchases to explain how active and liquid the business is.

You have 2 options. Either you present full tuition for the 4 years which is a big ask anyway cos the total amount is about 90k cad. That's about 56 to 60m or you provide for atleast 2 years and use your sop to explain what your sponsor does and why and how he would guarantee funding for the rest of your education

If we are to work out cost for the 4 years duration including living expenses and tuition, your pof will barely cover half so I assume you tried to show pof for atleast 1 year. So the question is what and what did you do in details to show your hubby source of income and assure the required funds for the remaining years will be readily available thruout the 4 years duration. That's where the work is.

My additional documents, after multiple compression (and some are already losing quality) still stands at 4.28MB and we all know that the additional documents (merged together) cannot exceed 2MB on the IRCC new portal.

How do I go about this reduction to 2mb with some decent level of quality for the documents to be readable by the VO?

It's simple. Inform the school you had applied and got refused. The schools usually frown at when students get LOA and they just sit on it without subsequently applying for visa that's why most of them give deadline date to update them on progress of visa application.
So tell them your application was refused attaching the refusal letter and you intend to reapply so you are asking for deferral to January intake. Shikina

Any lump sum in your statement of acct or that of your sponsor if applicable?
