The Northern governors have effectively launched the campaign to have the Presidency back in the North in 2015 with their weekend rejection of the proposed seven-year single tenure. http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/index.php/news/55595-2015-north-bids-for-power-shift.html |

The north lacks credible candidate at this time. Maybe some emerging young turks like Kashim Shettima. But certainly not Nama ni Sambo, the one who deputises for retardeen. The deputy of a reetard must be someone to shun completely in choosing a leader. 2 Likes |

What is in power? These northern elements are lazy and their only industry is government. It is just recently I began to see able bodied hausa - fulani doing 'going' or 'okada' they sell carrots, kolanut, tea, suya, etc. I have not seen (I might be wrong) a carpenter or mechanic, mason etc among them. Are they not lazy? Even in about thirty out of fifty years after independence they rule, they only steal money to enrich their privileged few. Their youths are deceived about western education while their emirs and political class send their children to most expensive schools home and abroad. Their community is filled with filth, human dregs and squalor. It does not matter GEJ with all his mistakes should continue or look for a sensible 'middle belt' -definitely not of this extraction or ideology- Candidate to hand over power to. This so called northerners cannot lead us anywhere, they are senseless, and barbaric. Their communities in this age are poorest in nigeria. Imagine people that cannot give names and address numbers to their streets. No matter how many bombs they throw under whatever guises to hell with cheats. Period. 16 Likes |

What is the north? Is it a political party? Sometimes people speak / type without thinking. Is PDP ready to disintegrate? Maybe on the pages of newspapers and definitely on NL. In the real POLITICAL world survival is the first law of politicians. Anyway there are people who get wet dreams out of news like this, so dream on. |

This is d problem of Nigeria. Is Nigeria operating å geographical shifting government. Nigeria will only move forward when she select her leaders based on capability $ merit and not on geographical disposition. |

The only business mallam knows is government business. It's a crying irony that mallam who hardly go to school dominates the top echelon of the federal public service. In the Accountant Generals pool, mallam has over 60% of the directorate cadre. Same in admin, legal and others. What a country we share with cows. 4 Likes |

I am proud of all of you that hold the forte for Southern Nigeria while I was away. Boko Haram strategy has failed. The vultures have issued communique on the next move. According to them, power must "return" to the North. Power happens to be their birthright I guess. I will be back. 2 Likes |
