We have pulled down the old scaffold, bought bamboo and now doing a new scaffold round this house.....

We also brought in a technician and he worked on the manual borehole where we get water to do our work here, we now have water in this site.

This was where I spent today.....

It just struck me that we don't have a separate thread created for only tiles in this forum? I plan to collect as many tiles samples as I can and open a thread for tiles later today, the cheap, the moderately priced and the expensive, the processes, the designs, the types, pictures of work done, etc, etc...... Loading.

You can see how dark the black stone coated roofing tiles we used here still is. Yes we used Korean tiles not Wichtec. This proves that there are top quality tiles among every brand.

Am about to roof my house in Awka with DS shingle roofing from Korea, that is being marketed by Batlan in Nigeria. Have u or any one around used such product for ur roofing, or can u recommend another that is good but not Gerrard. Thanks

No, I have not used DS shingles yet.

@spyder008 I still find the cost for plastering(650k) fascinating. Please kindly share your material breakdown for plastering internal/external including BQ

Yes it will be much better than this type that go into the wall, but more expensive. What we do is to bore into the wall as additional anchor, then patch up the walls later.

Oga spyder ur truly a man i admire. looking forward to meeting u soon. hope coming to lagos wont be impossible or rather expensive for us.i have been following ur good works on many of ur threads silently without signing in. keep it up and pls dont ever change for people like us need ur kind to at least realise our building dreams

How much will it cost to build 6 bedroom duplex in a Village of Ebonyi State. 4 rooms and a study room up and 2 rooms down. Ward robes in all the rooms. 3 toilet : 1 down and 2 up. A sizable living room down, very nice kitchen and kitchen store.

its a solid land.
