I supplied the client exterior screeding plaster and want to supply him satin paint.

It all depends on what your structural engineer specified for this location, always contained in the building plans.

My own advice is this, since you are doing 8 flats, and it might get to 3 floors? Then you must use 9" blocks for bigger concrete columns which will bear the loads of the upper floors.

Thank you Sir, I am back to take stock of 2013 operations, to round off the remaining projects and make plans for 2014 projects. The rest was very refreshing. We start working in some sites from Monday.

The 6 flats need a roof
The 2 bedroom block of flats needs a German floor
The Owerri duplex needs to be screeded and painted
The single rooms needs roofing sheets
The Elegant duplex in PH needs walls and lintels
The BQ at Ebonyi needs to be fitted out with windows, doors and tiles
We are planning to start a residential estate in Enugu (we plan to start this in the first week of 2014)

spyder880: I was in this site to see the level of works in the soak away tank section, and it was no surprise to me that we hit some ground water at around 9 feet.

spyder880: ......and the walls of earth was so unstable that it caved in at some point, so I cast the soak away tank 100% with concrete, but the problem did not stop. Lets leave the story, the challenge and how I later solved the problem for another thread...... at a later date. We won the war there, we shall win here

I guess the farmers are taking advantage of the easy access to under ground water there.

Wow some of these places are worse than Ajah cos we went 8 ft without any underground water problems.

I never knew it's possible to dig that far at Ajah without underground water.
It is surprising that an area which shares similar features with Liverpool Estate, Satellite town, could be that 'dry'. We can't dig 3 feet there without water. You guys are lucky.

Well, because of the fear of the voltage it should always be "earthed" the full procedure will be applied to make it safe. When I say underneath, I mean just under the roofing sheets, laid on the wood and passed above the ceiling outside the room down to the earthing prepared for it.
