homerac7: no i wont. why? it's an understatement and no more news to say that he's a non-performer. on electricity, he met on ground a project that's near maturity in name of NIPP that was initiated by OBJ and funded to tune of $16bn from excess crude account he built. any rightly knowledged person knows that such vast projects take time to come to fruition otherwise i would be asking "GEJ apologists" to tell me where he fetched the power increment and system stability from. if GEJ became president some 2 yrs back and today power is improving, it's enough evidence in itself to show that it's OBJ's investment that's come of age, NOT GEJ's.

how many power plants has GEJ laid its foundation? the Mambilla Dam Project OBJ couldn't start, why hasn't GEJ started it if he's such a hard-working visionary leader? has he expanded the transmission system beyond d scope of NIPP?

bottomline, anybody that knows what's happening in PHCN projects knows that GEJ has done nothing yet. so i wont vote for him. magana ya kare.

When yara'adua became president he discontinued with this same NIPP you are alluding to as the foundation for the stability and improvement of power supply in the country,so is not applaud able that Gej has decided to revisit it and improve on it better than even the initiators?

Hypocrisy that's our bane in this country, carry on Gej they can't bring a good man down. The end will definitely vindicate you.

I could spot mediocrity from a mile. With the way things are panning out, I don't think this dude is the one.

LIE 1: You can a thriving healthcare system without 24/7 Power supply. There are hospitals(mostly catering to international workers) in that country that have so far been able to survive in that same Nigeria in all this time. Of course 24/7 electricity will help but you can have a thriving healthcare system in place without electricity.

That is not entirely true. What do you think the country has been running on all this while? teeth juice? Of course those generators that have been running all these years constitute energy and they have worked well so far. The Solar panels that have designed some streets in Lagos have yet to complain. That is energy. grin grin grin

LIE 2: Jobs can exist without 100% power. What do you think those who have been propping up our economy for years have been doing? Scrubbing their bums? grin grin grin grin Definitely it would be great to have 100% electricity but there is not enough of a reason to focus on just power, especially when you consider cost and how long it would really take to reach even 10% Power need, let alone 100%

Again, not enough of a reason to vote back in a government that seems to be one dimensional. Power does not solve all things. We all know that in our private lives, but it is just that some you are too insincere to consider reality when you try to make your points, whatever they are.

You are still on this electricity issue with this type of extreme argument in 21st century?

Haba! You can criticize government without touching on the merit of public electricity supply as you are doing here.

Seems you are doing a damage to your reputation.

oga 40-laptops, r u aware of ds statement below? next time, be smarter about how u go about the theophany of ur messiah from Otuoke

“Therefore, when the 10 NIPP projects are fully on stream, which will be within the next few months, the total national generation capacity will not be less than 9000mw, a 200 per cent increase in generating capacity as compared with the figures for 2011 and the highest ever by any administration since independence,” the Presidency said in the statement signed by the Media Director in the office, Mr. Olusanya Awosan.
