That the first woman, Eve was an African may not be news to many.

That Eden was an African location may also not be news.

But what definitely is news is the fact that Adam and Eve may have originated from Nigeria.

The information is fresh and steaming. It may well be on its way to receiving world endorsement. It is the result of painstaking research by Nigeria’s professor of African studies, Catherine Acholonu in collaboration with India’s computer wiz kid and information technology specialist, Ajay Prabhakar.

It bears testimony to the fact that the first man and woman, Adam and Eve may be Nigerians afterall.

Long before now, researchers in major breakthroughs in genetic engineering and mitochondrial DNA analysis conducted at Emory University, Michigan University, University of California at Berkeley, all in the United States of America had revealed that all humans descended from one woman (proven to be Eve) who lived in East Africa 300,000 years ago.

Also, it has long been concluded that the famous Eden (remember the garden where Adam and Eve were said to have disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit) was an African location. From this revelation has emerged another conclusion that Adam was equally an African.

But what has not been established until now is whether or not they had Nigerian connection.

So, could Adam and Eve have been Nigerians? Well, for four years, Prof. Acholonu and her Indian collaborator, Prabhakar toiled, looking at ancient artifacts, rummaging through ancients records as well as scriptures of lost races of the world and have now come up with what may lead to that conclusion. Hold your breathe.

In a daring project ever to be undertaken on the African continent described as a marriage between science and culture, the duo have found what they call the truth and are out to shock the world. Their findings published in a book ‘The Gram Code of African Adam’ soon to be presented to the world, the researchers are about to put Nigeria at the centre stage of world culture and tourism.

In their work, they were able to establish that the most important city in the ancient world was that called Tilmun. "This city was glorified in the writings of the kings of Egypt, Assyria and Sumeria as ‘the land of the living’. It was the destination of the pharaohs of Egypt who sought for the Afterlife. It was the sacred territory secluded by the gods. It had the most important seaport known in antiquity which supplied the world with gold, timber, date and other palm produce".

The important landmarks of this most important city, according to the researchers included its proximity to the Atlantic, a Delta sea coast, a confluence of two rivers (believed to be those of Niger and Benue), the Lake of Reeds (Chad) and a volcanic mountain of the gods (believed to be Lake Nyos in Cameroun). Acholonu said Western researchers had erroneously located this city, Tilmun in Bahrain, provoking huge tourism interest in that country.

"Our research proves conclusively that the location of ancient Tilmun is today’s Nigeria", Prof. Acholonu and Prabhakar told us. In all of these, the duo have equally established that the obscure village of Ikom in Cross River State may well be the world’s destination.

Some 350 ancient stones, called monoliths found in Ikom are said to bear writings with the exact layout as those found in France dating to the Upper Paleolithic Period of 18,000 BC –12,000 BC. Acholonu and Prabhakar deciphered these writings and found that they contain the names of gods of Egypt and Mesopotamia and what they say are astronomical details such as the names of stars in various ancient languages and records of celestial events contained in ancient scriptures.

"The interpretation of the writings reveal the name of the language in which it is written. It says that the writing is called Gram (which is the origin of the words tetragram (the Hebrew name of God), penta-gram, grammar, milli-gramme and its multiple intonation of the name of Ham which shows that it is a heritage of Ham, the ancestor of the black race.

"Powerful parallels between the stone inscriptions and the Hebrew Cabbala suggest that the former was a model for the latter. The discovery of language connections between the rural community of Ikom and distant languages in Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East and especially with the Hebrew language suggest strongly that the ancient language of the creators of the monoliths was the original language of mankind and that the Hebrews have a deep contact with this part of Africa that is yet to be revealed", they posited.

The researchers further explained that the most shocking of all their discoveries was the monolith which the people of Ikom call Shishe (the first mother of mankind), which actually bears the Hebrew name of Eve (Ish-sha) written in a combination of Sumerian and Dravidian letters.

In earlier editions of this page, and also in this column, pictures of carved stone monoliths from Alok have been published, as well as legends surrounding cotton trees planted at age grade initiation rites in the village of Alok, in the Ikom area of Cross River State.

However recent work by Dr. Catherine Acholonu on the Ikom monoliths present a different vista that, when completed, along with relevant formalities and protocols on the global stage, will permanently change the status of Cross River and re-position that state as a prime tourist destination.

In short, the gist of Dr. Acholonu's work is the unearthing of a linkage between Calabar and the ancient port city of Tilmun, mentioned in archaeological and anthropolical works. The key is in the deciphering of the inscriptions on the monoliths which unspringed an ancient orthography of the type used in the civilisation of Tilmun.

I hereby present extracts from a letter from Dr. Acholonu to the Cross River State Governor, Dr. Duke on her works, titled "Completion of the Ikom monoliths project and request for audience to present our findings to the state.

[b]"Your Excellency, after four years of toiling and searching through mountains of material, ancient writings, mythologies, artifacts, ancient scriptures, libraries, anthropological records from the five continents of the globe, I am elated to report that on the 24th July 2005 with the aid of my Indian colleague, Engr Ajay Prabhakar, an IT consultant and computer scientist, I was able to decipher the ancient writings on the Cross River Monoliths. What we saw was beyond words. The work is slow and tedious. But we found that the inscriptions contain the names of Gods of Egypt and Babylon. We have matched the monoliths inscriptions with the Hebrew Cabbala and found more than ample evidence that the latter is modeled on the former.

"Induced by these findings we ranged through the materials we had gathered from ancient records of Egypt, Babylon, Akkadia etc., and we found, with more than ample proof, that the Nigeria/Cameroon axis was the seat of an ancient sacred city of the gods known in all ancient texts as Tilmun. As recorded in ancient Egyptian and Babylonian texts, Tilmun was the Holy City-of the ancients around 11,000 B.C. It was built with an underground system of tunnels which was regularly visited by Egyptian kings on pilgrimage because Tilmun was famous as the Land of the Gods or the Land of the Living.[/b]

Its sea port was the most famed sea port in antiquity for it supplied the Old World with gold, copper, iron, palm produce, etc from the interior lands of Africa.

"Anthropologists, Archeologists and ethnographers from all over the world have been falling over themselves for decades, trying to find Tilmun. They have tried to locate it in the Middle East, even though the evidence they provide as proof is insufficient. But you know that even in academics there is politics. They have chosen the Middle Eastern city of Bayrein as the location of ancient Tilmun and now tourists from all over the world are flocking to that city as a result of that false claim.

"HOWEVER, OUR RESEARCH HAS PROVED BEYOND ALL DOUBT THAT TILMUN IS LOCATED IN THE NIGERIA/CAMEROON AXIS AND THAT THE FAMOUS SEA PORT OF TILMUN CELEBRATED IN ALL THE WRITINGS OF THE ANCIENTS WAS THE CALABAR SEA PORT ON THE SHORE OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. CALABAR WAS THE ROME AND THE MECCA OF ANTIQUITY: IT WAS THE HOLY CITY OF THE PHARAOHS FASHIONED BY THE. SAME GODS THAT RULED EGYPT WHOSE REIGN ENDED IN 3,000 B.C.

"WE ALSO FOUND THAT THE QUA PEOPLE, THE FIRST INHABITANTS OF CALABAR, ARE OF THE DIRECT LINEAGE OF CANAAN WHOSE NAME IS SPELT ‘QA-IN’ IN HEBREW(Emphases hers).

"This is just the tip of the iceberg. Our findings are, to say the least, earth-shattering. And everything is based on facts and scientific procedures."

Garamma: Stone writings of African Adam

 
NIGERIA'S dogged cultural researcher, and erstwhile senior special assistant to the President on Arts and Culture, Catherine Acholonu-Olumba recently teamed up with India’s computer engineer and IT specialist, Ajay Prebhaka, winner of several awards as an upcoming computer "whiz kid" to undertake the most painstaking and ambitious cultural research project ever carried out on the shores of Africa.

Their research which took over four years of hard work, Vanguard Arts gathered, began with the discovery of strange inscriptions of universal symbols on 350 ancient sacred stones in the forests of Ikom in Cross River State, Nigeria. This triggered off the suspicion that Africa must have been home to an advanced culture in pre-historic times. Eventually, Prof. Acholonu linked up with computer engineer, Ajay Prabhakar to bring about marriage between science and culture. The journey of the two scholars through the body of African ancient artifacts and the ancient records and scriptures of lost races of the world such as the great civilizations of Egypt, Sumer, Hindu, Cush, Akkadia, Chaldea and Mesoamerica, looking for missing links on Africa’s contributions to the history or pre-history of mankind, resulting in a full length book entitled Garamma: Stone writings of African Adam.

The outcome of the journey was the discovery that Africa was home to a celestial, high technology civilization based in the present day location of the Sahara Desert - a civilization that was decimated by the deluge and by the war of the gods of antiquity, the hallmarks of which included the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid of Egypt.

(the original source of Genesis) and of The book of the Secrets of Enoch; that the delta location of the monoliths was the limed global seaport of Tilmun, from where great ships sailed the global seas of antiquity supplying gold, palm produce, spices, dates and copper; that Mount Cameroon (known as ‘The Chariots of the God" ) was the Mecca and Rome of antiquity, a veritable chariot of the gods to which the Pharaohs of Egypt betook themselves to dwell with the gods in underground dwellings connected secretly with the lands stretching through the Niger Delta and through[/b] the Niger/Benue ‘Sacred Confluence of Osiris’ to the Chad Basin (with its core in the Ejegham nation);

that Kano, Katsina, Borno, Mali, Chad, were the remnants of the great celestial lake deluge civilization of Africa that were sunk and buried under the Sahara Desert; that the Kwa family of languages in West Africa is the last remnant of the original seed language/mother tongue of mankind, bequeathed through Kwa-in (Canaan), the fourth son of Ham, the only heir of the kingship among the grandchildren of Noah and the father of the Black people of West Africa; that the first city ever to be established on earth is the divine city of Eridu, built by the gods in 450,000 B.C.(as recorded in ancient Sumerian texts). Eridu is the origin of the German word Erde and the English words Earth and Erithrea.

Ikom stone writings gave away their sacred language - The Garamma Language - the Lost Mother Tongue of mankind, the origin of the Hebrew Qabbala and the ‘Tera-gramm’ name of Yaweh. Off-shoots of the Garamma writing include Nsibidi of Ekpe cult of Southern Nigeria and the Ogham sacred writings of the Celtic dwarfs (Druids) of ancient British Isles.

The researchers were able to provide very compelling evidence to demonstrate that the Isrealites' Exodus journey led them, not through the ‘Red Sea’ but through the ‘Reed Sea’ (the Sea of Reeds is Lake Chad), to the sanctuary of the gods in Southern West Africa where they obtained some of the sacred stone inscriptions of Ikom known today in biblical language as ‘The Ten Commandments’ or the Ark of the Covenant’.

Ikom monoliths were the unmistakable source of the Hebrew Qabbala and the Book of Enoch. (We might also add, for emphasis, that since the dawn of the twentieth century, biblical and theological scholars as well as archeologists, have been searching for proof of the Isrealites’ Exodus, 40-year journey across the Red Sea/the Sinai Peninsular/the Arabian Desert but none has been found, leading scholars of these three disciplines to place a question mark on the biblically acclaimed Exodus route. The book which is billed to be launched in various African countries and in the African diaspora soon, was presented to the reading public during the weekend. There are also plans by the authors of the book to present their findings to any state that indicates interest in having access to them.
