lemon in warm water before breakfast will do.
there will be normal flow with no pain
using pharmaceutical drugs will make u have less than normal flow which is not good as the flow will stuck up in the cervix and can also cause serious complication in women at childbearing age.

Scotch whisky, brandy...infact any hardcore alcohol u can lay ur hands upon works wonders. Put a bit in tea. Or try Feldene pills.
Also look out for Icy-Hot patches which u can get at any pharmacy shops (well if u r in the US/UK).

;DGuy speaking. Have you tried half plastic of Regal dry Gin?

Alcohol thins the blood and makes the flow faster with less pain.

Since this is true, aspirin being a blood thinner should also work.

My 2.5 cents

I'm curious. Does it mean that virgins don't experience mentrual pain? Cos someone mentioned that the pains are for only those that aren't virgins.

i have heard different versions of that nonsense and that's what it really is..Nonsense!
Sex,ual activity or inactivity has nothing to do with cramps.
If you have them,then you do..and if u don't,you don't!
Its that simple!

steph7: I take ibruprofen regularly 3 days before it starts, and even with that I still have the pain, just that its not as severe as it wud have been, severe pains come with vomitting, I won't be able to walk, loss of appetite, and yes I think my pain rivals that of labour

Awwww, sorry about the vomiting. When I started my menses, I used to vomit but later it stopped. I guess it stopped because I stopped taking refined sugar/foods containing refined sugar.

Sugar is really bad for a woman's reproductive system. Once the vomiting stops, the pain subsides; does this happen to you?

My experience of MP is very irregular. I could experience it in a particular month and the next two months, no pain maybe just mild cramps.

I do take Ibruprofen only when the pains becomes unbearable. I really don't like taking drugs so I tend to bear the pain until I reach my unbearable level.

My cousin introduced me to this herbal powder, which is to be taken with lime before and after one's menses and the MP will disappear forever!(I don't know how true this is) Lolzzzz.

Though it's very bitter in taste; I added water to the herbal powder and took it like that and voila! I didn't feel any pain throughout.

Maybe you ladies should look towards herbal drugs since they are mostly bitter and I'm told that anything bitter is good for the body. Also, they acts as detoxifiers to clear poisons from the system.

I know some will disapprove of my comments but I've said my own piece. I'm all for bitter things for my body; too much sweet foods(esp. refined/processed foods) dey damage body jare.

Have you ladies ever wondered why our grandmoms and moms didn't have all these MPs during their time?

After suffering for many years, the gp recommended MEFENAMIC acid and tranexamic. These are the best.
Mefenamic acid drastically reduces the cramps and tranexamic reduces the blood flow for those with very heavy periods.

I always had to take the first two days off work when my period started, every 5 weeks because i could not walk once the cramps started, but with the mefenamic, i walk about normally. Its a life saver, please ask your gp for it

Mr Zibe, that is not true; it's absolutely false. It happens to virgins and those aren't virgins.

It depends on the anatomy and physiological functions of each woman's system and also what they put into their system.

*My own opinion*

Anytime my period is around the corner i turn to sum1 else entirely infact people don't dare near me cus the pain will be unbearable, tried using felvin & buscopan and it worked for sumtimes bt later stoped working, also used paracetamol, ibrupofen, ladinax, even laila bt the pains returns after sumtimes. recently a friend introduced KACHAM and it worked wonder. Bt i was told it will stop after childbirth cus was told
my Mum & Sis also experienced similar pain and it stoped after
their first Babies.

Don't mind him, if his dick leak blood every month for three days, and comes intense pain with it, and mood swings ontop of that, he would then know that there is something called "nature".

Childish, stoopid, immature mofo. Is it by force to comment on a thread?
