Truth is a very bitter pill to swallow, bt greed wuld nt allow, if u ar staying with a person whose tribe, religion, ethnicity u despise or abhor, wat ar u? A hypocrite. Hypocrisy is the foundation upon which all nigeria's problems ar built, it is a disease dat spreads like HIV. And highly contagious, its only solution is by quarantine. Unless nigeria splits apart, lives wuld nt b valued. hypocrisy gave birth to coruption, nw no body wil allow his own to suffer punishment for corupt charges wen corupt persons frm oda tribe walks freely. Coruption has her own children..... . Wen we continue to allow our children grow up seeing and hearing of the way lives are snatched by som pple joined wit us, on the claim of their own divine beliefs, den we are destroying dem. Wen humans hv gone wild like animals, it is beta to tame dem until u relocate dem to the safari or desert. 2 Likes |

Many N/Landers lack the ability to read and comprehend what they read thoroughly. I'll lend a helping hand. What the general is saying is that should Nigeria continue this way, we'll most likely find ourself on the road to disintegration. Whether he is right or not is not relevant here. He is free as you are to express his opinion which he just did. He at no time called for disintegration. He only gave a warning based on his personal observation and advised that we held an SNC as soon as possible to avoid disintegration. An SNC doesn't necessarily lead to disintegration. He's still very much patriotic.I guess he is calling for true federalism. Understood Now say thank you. 2 Likes |

The former CDS and his cohorts are not serious people. When the hit is hot they will run for shelter abroad. Most of his brothers are depedent on the oil section and government for survival and are comfortable the way things are going. Some of his former NADECO comrades are now politicians who are no longer interested in a SNC. |

Many N/Landers lack the ability to read and comprehend what they read thoroughly. i think what he's saying is measures are being put in place which will sooner or later pave the way for an outright war. it will catch people by surprise because they wont know how it was able to happen. 1 Like |

kooto: "Reality" as used in the post you quoted, means we Nigeria behaving politely, and not making Ethnicity our major factor in managing the country. But putting right and capable people on the leadership seat, Like it's done in progressive countries. |

Paul John: That's why development is slow. We claim to be one but divided. I think it'll be better if we divide and stand on our own, or we unit and drop the Ethnic thing. Than to be as a country and divided within. l have been saying this several times that d best thing 4 Nigeria is 2 disintegrate because we have not been living as one nation. Disintegration will give room 4 regional development. |

Gen. Alani(rtd) has not said anything new. Nigeria is about to pass the stage for SNC. Let him that has ears hear what awaits this unholy contraption. The unnecessary innocent blood spilt for 'one nigeria is too much'. Those who are fighting tooth and nail to maintain the status quo should know that freedom is unnegotiable... When the time comes like Xerxes, they would know that even the god-king bleeds. The wise one said that 'high fences and deep moats do not guarantee unity...doing good to the populace(justice & equity) achieves this'. Salutation to the progressive. |

lauyan Abuja: Lousy Yorubas are hypocrite. Much talk, less action. Mind ur speech/speeches on this forum... U don't insult others because u want to make points. Even d English understands idioms. Yorubas are not only d hypocrite(its all tribes in Nigeria)/ that is involved in much talks and less actions.. D record is there. U don't bother going to war when u see d clear future that u cannot win it. Yes other tribes may show actions but did they win or ever won a battle Even to Nigeria struggle of today.. Some regions are with minimum of 6states why some are 5states & some still have d courage of saying much talk than action.. Who n who in d making is making noise/noises For d yorubas says "its d empty barrel that makes noise most. The record is there, we can make findings and confirm. Who & who fought and who & who won... Who led d battle, who won d battle..who made d loudest noise and who never loud talks but effective in battles.. Am a yoruba man from kwara state. Am waiting for a reply.. I never support or against d general's topic but we must talk d truth n face realities. 2 Likes |

Nigeria disintegration is not as difficult as many think. It's difficult when a part wants to break away like Biafra (an unrecognised territory) did but not difficult when the amalgamation is nullified. We will end up with our countries: Northern Nigeria, Southern Nigeria and Lagos. Anyone could then rename their country to a more favourable name. |

PointB:what makes you think that the yoruba is one indivisible entity? i Dont know what create this self style arrogance in this so called yoruba apart from their continued confiscation and personalisation of lagos, which they know very well that they don't own. if there is a break up, what makes then feel that lagos will be a part of them. south West without lagos is not more viable than kogi state. if the Yoruba cannot survive within, they surely cannot survive without lagos. this Position of Akinrinde, calls for setting up of old people's home to take care people like him. |
