I guess most of us are missing the point here. Earning 80k, having and maintaining a good car may not be an issue depending on which area of the country you live in and from where you are sourcing the loan from. Some local cooperative society in my area wouldn't charge more than 50k as interest on a loan of 700k whose payment is spread over 2 years. Also in ilorin township where I resides you can live and even be a big boy with a salary of 50k monthly as standard of living is relatively cheap. So depending on where the OP lives or where he is sourcing his loan from he can well buy and maintain a good car.
