What's the point of having one Nigeria when there is crises everywhere? from bombing to kidnapping. One Nigeria can be appreciable when everyone can live comfortably without fear of terrorism and other chaos. As for me, one Nigeria is only what we wish and not what we practice. One Nigeria is when a fellow from one side of the country has the right to move freely in any part of the country where the Green-White-Green flag is been raised without facing deportation. One Nigeria can be said when we start electing our leaders based on competence and trust without ethnic involvement. NB: I'm pro One Nigeria 8 Likes |

I went into what I believed had to be done at the time and my name was spelled into ‘‘Go on With One Nigeria’’ (GOWON) by people who recognised that we meant well for the country, I greatly appreciated it because it strengthened my resolve and eased the efforts that we were making,’’ Gowon said yesterday during a lecture in Jos to mark his 78th birthday Am seeing the result of how well you meant by trading bakassi and killing millions of innocent children. I would have said may thunda fire your mouth but Let God Judge You. You are one of the reason Nigeria is at where it is today. #AlwaysGoingBackwards 10 Likes |

I dont know your definition of ONE NIGERIA but in real life Nigeria is not ONE Hmmm, nigeria is still not one and cannot be one because of selfishness of all kinds of leaders. One nigeria would have been a paradise, but destroyed. Gen Gowon is also part of the rot. |

juman: Yeah, Nigeria would have been great if ONE but every well meaning Nigeria would know that even in the next century Nigeria is not going to be ONE and thats why i stopped advocating for One Nigeria because i want Peace and i want Development and i bet that those things cant happen in Nigeria. The people in Nigeria are not one and thats the major problem of Nigeria and not Governance 1 Like |

Gowon prays that he is lynched to death before he dies naturally . he is stil preaching one nigeria because he wasted millions of lives to keep one nigeria intact otherwise he will be singing another song going by what is happening to his people now in jos and what has happened to them since after the war ( Dinka and Gideon Orkae) .One nigeria has failed . It can be safe if regionlism is entrenched . What is the stake of the middle beltan in the scheme of thiings in nigeria today ? Who is deceiving who ? Gowon is not a happy man . Instead of staying one and the hausa -fulani continues to murder so called infidels why can we part . One nigeria is beneficial if only if we harnes it appropriately but what is happening now is not one nation and this a pure truth .SE does not have any thing in commom with north and SW . SE and now SS because GEJ are hated by the west and north how then can we remain as one . we re living in pretence . we re not one and we can never be one. |

Anyim who represented President Goodluck Jonathan on the occasion added, “It is a privilege to be part of the occasion to honor this great man (Gen. Gowon), the architect of modern Nigeria, a statesman, and indeed the father of united Nigeria. His commitment to our nationhood is legendary.” Hail Biafra! |

Forget about what anyim said . he was reading what the presido has typed of for him to read . Anyway, igbos are doing well in nigeria today . apparently igbos are running this nation . if the north and west steal money from the govt it will end up in igbo mans pocket through business and also given that igbos are every where in the country and doing well ; there is no need to part with nigeria . igbo re better of in nigeria today . 3 Likes |

You bring an igbo man, a christian, an hausa man, a muslim, a Yoruba man, a confised religionist. All with different cultures, values, ideals, ideologies. You forcefully bring them together under one cursed entity called Nigeria at the ecpense if millions of life and you want us to clap for you. Take your gratefulness with you to london where you have been hiding before you get the fulani treatment your kinsmen are getting in jos. 4 Likes |

See iboz crying again...lol. Nigeria's less than stellar standing is not becaus it is still a nation but bad leadership, corruption, crimes, kidnapping, consumerism, bad followership including iboz, Hausas, Yorubas, etc. That some herdsmen killed folks in the MB or SE or anywhere is not because Nigeria won the war but because elected leaders and followers have not done their jobs. |

Gowon should wake up from sleep and face reality. Is Nigeria one today? Gowon just murdered innocent million people for nothing. What we have today as one Nigeria should have made gowon to come out and apologize to Nigerians for crime he committed against humanity. Gowon would have been celebrating his birth day in colors instead of in fears had it been greed allowed him to correct the worst mistake made by lugard in 1914 after excess consumption Chelsea dry gin. I am happy gowon said he is grateful to those who supported his fake project called one Nigeria. If he is sure of this project to be a popular one, every Nigeria would've praised him for job well done. Today boko haram, fulani herdsmen have proved to gowon that he did a nice job for creating the avenues for them to showcase their skills. Gowon if you are proud of the crime you committed against humanity, fulani herdsmen will also be proud to continue with the good work you started in fake one Nigeria. fulaniiiiiiiii poweraaaaaa. 1 Like |

Igbos can never cry again rather every Nigerian that loves peace and progress knows that one Nigeria is a failure and can never work. Please tell us the offense of all those killed by boko haram and fulani herdsmen? If there is leadership failure, why don't those leaders that failed us die instead of innocent citizens? I am sure you are less informed. Biafran war was as a result of gowon's failure to implement aburi accord which would've made us a great nation. Today every one is saying true federalism as the only way forward and that was exactly what aburi accord said. Those who are cringe now are gowon and his people who is about to be wiped out by fulani herdsmen in the name and spirit of one Nigeria. I am also sure northerners are crying too because of constant bombings and shootings from boko haram in the spirit of one Nigeria. Gowon good morning. Fulaiiiiii poweraaaaaaa 2 Likes |

Gowon played the cards of the northern hegemons unknowingly. the man must have some regrets and will continue to deny it as long as nigeria iis still one. the plateau crisis is the price of unity but doesnt wortth it. |
