take dat: What is OBJ driving at? Is it that his government performed better than the Present one? OBJ and GEJ are avian of the same plumage. If Nigeria erupts, all corrupt politicians irrespective of party affiliation, past and present government ,shady business men, none will ever go scot free. Their time of Reckoning beckons!
dont compare baba obasanjo with that so called secondary school student president(GEJ),he got no clues about presidency.Gej wont even perform better if he is local government chairmen.loco mecosa idiota presido.

Obj should be the last person to talk about revolution especially the type he refer to.Obj is the worst President of Nigeria.i have always asked,'what are the achievements of Obj's 8years rule? I have never seen one. Someone even foolishly mentioned licensing of GSM.that will show that Obj actually achieved nothing since licensing GSM was an achievement. Most of the problems of the present government was created by Obj's regime through neglect and criminalities.Boko haram,Banking crisis, lack of food, lack of infrastructure and others were actually created by OBJ.he never wished Nigeria well. The present administration is not led by 'god' and as such, things will definitely not change in a day.Actually, the present administration is laying foundation of a country that was left crumbled by past administration.Nigeria is supposed to be doing great now but the past leaders built it with 'muds' instead of 'reinforced concrete' so as to reduce cost and increase loot. Now,it crumbled and GEJ,a victim of circumstance,is trying as necessary to rebuild Nigeria from scratch and unfortunately,Obj is seriously whipping up sentiment to help him produce someone that will succeed Jonathan.Ofcourse,he still want to be relevant.Nigeria has unemployment rise but it wasnt caused by GEJ rather its being contained by GEJ's administration.OBJ should stop talking nonsense afterall any revolution will firstly destroy him and his loots.

Atleast OBJ is now feeling guilty for the youths because he has grand children and they gonna also curse him and be atttacked when the elastic limit burst -
My own anger is IBB he will never say anythin and each sallah celebration he is shown praying allah u akbar and saying it is well insha allah with nigeria every year on tv together with that santa claus looking abdulsalam

OBJ is right!. The way things are going there would be a revolution in this country at a point. Yes, Nigeria cannot move forward without a REVOLUTION.
Re: Obasanjo: "The Danger Posed By Unemployed Youths Is Real & Potent by COOLDUN: 10:58pm On Nov 12, 2012
Chamber10: Obj is part of the problem. He spent billions to generate darkness instead of electricity. If the revolution starts, it will start from Ota.

That was why he said that he is afraid as a boy scout general, IBB boasted of coming out of retirement to fight to keep Nigeria one as his economic and political empire, imagine a man that cannot do more than 5 press ups boasting of fighting in the war front, if any thing happens in Nigeria i would like like to fight at the sector to capture IBB alive. The Revolution will start from the elites then the masses will join and finish them up.

See as people dey attack the messenger cum ignore the message itself.
Sometimes i just tend to think that the executive arm of government is so disconnected from the populace. You tend to see more when not in power than when in power. OBJ is not in power anymore and he's seeing things for himself. Unemployment in Nigeria is alarming now and that is the simple truth.
Re: Obasanjo: "The Danger Posed By Unemployed Youths Is Real & Potent by mkoabiola: 11:50pm On Nov 12, 2012
When baba iyabo speaks,he speaks nothing bt d biterr n gospel truth.
As regards unemployment,Obj tenure was far far better dan Gej.
Unempoloyment was nt worst uptil ds level.
Gej is sourrounded by sycophants who are introducing anti employment policies.
As far back as 1999 to 2007,unemployment has not inreas up til ds level.
Revolution is d answer.
Re: Obasanjo: "The Danger Posed By Unemployed Youths Is Real & Potent by MAYOWAAK: 11:52pm On Nov 12, 2012
Forgive my words here, but if 'yahoo boys' and 'blackberry youths' are the reasons he is saying there would be a revolution I think he is WRONG, An average yahoo boy careless about the Govt is doing, he just prays dollar rises up, his white Maga pays, he buys d latest rangerover, sleep with numerous young university/undergraduates gels. And if the money is not entering well, he goes to yahoo+ (yahoo with JUJU) our youths (we youths) just want to make money no time for 'kick against corruption' revolution campaigns etc.... Goto the street u wil confirm what I just said, same as our female youths, Gone are those days where u see an uneducated Youth doing prostitution, Now undergraduates with average grades, private university girls are into e-prostitution (twitter, fbook, sexchat prostitution)... There can't be any revolution because morally our youth are defected.

KINGwax: as expected, you are ignorant of your enemy! OBJ is a bad looking ugly mofo, i can't agree more. But here are some of what u can mull over:
1. Cleared all your debts and left with no one
2. Left a high foreign reserve
3. Even without electricity, nigeria's economy was at the rise
4. Reduced unemploymen with so many programmes put in place
5. Gave u that fuckin GSM u now use to display your ignorant.

That guy is far from perfect, but as far as today is concerned, you've got no better president
.. u r right but many will dispute u on N/L

Where were his 'fears' when he doubled as both a president & petroleum minister for a protracted tym. I wont b surprised if GEJ, Alamaseigha,Fakrook lawan, patrisia eteh, IBB, TY Danjuma; all express the same 'fears'... Its easier to criticize when u're not on stage.

Talk is cheap, very cheap and OBJoke sure knows how to wind up his fellow compatriots going by the responses here.

* Did General Obasanjo (ret) not RULE this country for 11 years, three as military dictator?
* What solid foundation for industrial growth & infrastructure did he lay during all those years of MISRULE?
* What political legacy did he leave to foster economic development after his departure from power?
* Why is he enagaging in populist TALK now that he is out of power and sidelined by GEJ when he could not take meaningful action while in power

And some people are jumping all over the place because he "gave" them GSM, paid their debt with "his" money etc?
Low aspiration/ expectation level from citizens leads to complacent leaders. QED.

Ah Naija! See ur best ever president! Just like Alams is the best ever Governor of Bayelsa! We celebrate incompetence and mediocrity with such aplomb, pomp and panache. Nigeria is like a rich man who throws a party for building a one-room plywood apartment in a slum. SMHWW

Any revolution that will be BENEFICIAL to Nigeria must begin 1st with you &I changing our character for GOOD. You &I must do the right thing at all times. Anything short of that will just be replacing the current political leadership with MORE incompetent, MORE irresponsible and MORE corrupt &opportunistic persons. Whoever doubts this submission should look back in history and see how leadership at ALL levels have progressively gotten WORSE since independence when we had the likes of Awo till date. Anyway, OBJ was just running his mouth. The probability of an uprising occuring in Nigeria is slim, because the very people to organise it are more corrupt and WORSE than the very present political leaders at all levels. Nigeria's problems will be solved GRADUALLY, no magic wand. In the past some misguided persons looked for QUICK FIX (military coups) but this ended in worsening the situation and a CIVIL WAR. GEJ may not be charismatic or an orator, but he's taking some RIGHT steps

Obasanjo: "The Danger Ahead Is Real and Potent, Revolution Coming"
If General Buhari had made any statement regarding or even merely mentining the word revolution Doyin Okupe,Abati,PDP bought media houses and other gullible Nigerians with negative mindsets created by their selfish ethno religious leaders would have been shouting and making baseless comments out of nothing.

I just love this man so much.
Though he's part of our problem in this country, he seems to be regretting his bad leadership @ the moment, and obviously scared of the future.
