This is the first time am visiting this thread, it's actually cos am confused and I need to get a meaning to this: am 13wks pregnant, as I was coming back from church with my dh and another woman today , my dh wanted to use the ATM and so we had to go to bank. on our way my dh bought 3 drinks (one each for three of us). the bank security man said we r all holding drinks that way abt his own, I gave him mine cos my dh had gone to the ATM. d ntwk was bad so he had to use another one. As we were going, he asked me to buy anoda drink which I did, he nw said he would like to move faster 2 nearest ATM. I was moving with the other woman, then a mad man who has only his loin covered pointed at me and said he's thirsty that I shld give him the drink, I gave him out of fear and everybody was looking at me cos it's a market place. since I got hm, ve bin very confused that hope it's not a bad omen for a mad man to collect smthin from smby. sorry for my long story. please I nid a response, thanks.

If you have already accepted in christ, then forget about it, don't you even count it as anything.

DON'T FEAR! Because it is an insult to what christ did for you at the cross.

Let it be in your MINDSET, that when you are in christ NOTHING can harm you.

The mad man attacking you is just like attacking the sovereign power of Jesus.

Create a good and positive mindset about christ, then even poison cannot kill you.

Millions idolise those who have achieved fame and fortune, yet stardom does not provide the satisfaction it advertises. Marilyn Monroe could have told us that. So could Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. Consider the adoration accorded to Muhammed Ali in his prime. He was known as ‘the prize fighter who couldn’t be beaten’. His picture appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated more than any other athlete in history. Wherever he went the cameras followed. But wealth and fame cannot buy good health, and he fell victim to the ravages of Parkinson’s disease. Sportswriter Gary Smith spent some time with the ailing fighter at his home and asked to see his trophy room. Ali escorted him to a dark, damp barn beside his house. There, leaning against a wall was a board displaying mementoes—photos of the ‘Thrilla in Manila’, pictures of Ali dancing and punching, and hoisting championship belts he had won over his head. FOCUS YOUR MENTALITY

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Jesus came that you may prosper, not just in some things, and not even in most things, but actually, in ALL things. He wants you to live a full life. He wants your soul to prosper. Your soul is your mind, will and emotions. Your mind is a gift from God that helps you understand Him better.

The company you focus one goes a long in determining your mental destination. The books you read and the company you keep determine the future you will walk into. Buy books- it’s an investment into your mind that will yield profit. When you buy a book, you’re not buying pages of typed material- you’re obtaining experience, usually at a discount!

Any Christian must be constantly inspired as a result of fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The anointing teaches you what to do. (1 John 2:27) If you are born-again, you are anointed already.  You simply need to feed on the Word and grow in the Word “in all its richness”. (Col 3:16 NLT) Then, you will be “transformed…from glory to glory” (2 Cor 3:18 NKJV), having been “transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Rom 12:2 NKJV)

Mind the materials your mind is exposed to. Watch the things that come in through the eye gate and the ear gate. Proverbs 20:12 NLT clearly states that “Ears to hear and eyes to see–both are gifts from the LORD.” The mind is a gift; even the gates to the mind are gifts from God. Therefore, serve God with all you’ve got- “your whole being”. (Deut 6:5 NET Bible). Hence, Jesus admonishes (Mark 12:30 NKJV): “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.”

 

CONFESSION: I am prosperous in every way. My mind is blessed; my heart is right. I’m anointed to be a solution-provider. I know what to do.

PRAYER: Thank You Father for the gift of the mind. Thank You for giving me the mind of Christ. (1 Cor 2:16)

BRIEF ON THE CASE OF NNENA NWACHUKU

On 07/11/2015, Nwachuku Nnena came to New Survivors Hospital, Igbogene, to procure an abortion of about 7 ½ months pregnancy, which i refused to do but rather advised her to keep the pregnancy. She wanted to terminate it because she had medical complains and financial constraints. Following my assessment, she was diagnosed to have severe malaria in pregnancy and this can be managed without resort to terminate of pregnancy. Indeed, she was admitted and was catered for by the hospital, inpatients’ and their relatives as well as anonymous donations and that as of the time of discharge, there were still some outstanding bills. We managed the patient until 3/02/2016 when she was delivered of a female life baby. While the baby was delivered, there was nothing to feed and the hospital had to feed the baby until she was handed over to the ministry. She was not coming with any relatives as she had no next of kin, so we had to anticipate care of the baby after birth and established continuity of care with the ministry of woman affairs. Documentation was done properly and the ministry responded and a vehicle took the mother and baby to the ministry of woman affairs and then with the ministry bus the baby was sent to Glory Land Children home pending when she provides one or two responsible relatives.
