There was written Qur'an in the time of ProthetMuhammad! The first revelation, containing only five verses was Qur'an at that Time t, when it was revealed and no other verses were revealed. And do not forget that they were written down. So really there Qur'an written down, all the time!

They were written in patchments consisting odf leathers, and others animal parts, eg bones and other materials like leaves, etc. And they were memorized and used extensively in all forms of worship and in all Is'lamic ceremonies. It was not restricted to Salah only. This is why I am amassed that the non Mus'lims would attack the compilation of the Qur'an to a Book form, without considering many factors; all that I have mentioned in addition to the fact that in every month of Ramadan, Muhammad(as) and Jibril (as) used to recite it to each other, once each, except the last Ramadam of the prophet alive. That Ramadan it was twice to each other. In all those years, and especially the last Ramadan, if there was any mistake, Jibril would have corrected it, considering that Jibril was an Agent of his Lord to previous prophets and to Muhammad(as) and did not have to be shy about his responsibility but only concerned himself with his duty to his God.

Further, the only reason that they made it to a Book form which contains all the verse of the Qur'an, and not leaving any verse out (for if there was any part that could be be left out, it would have been the abrogated verses. But they are all in there in the Book, showing the progression of how the heart is gradually immensed in belief), was because the momorisers were being killed off by the enemies of Is'lam and that the people whose tongues were not Arabic and are probably hearing the language for the very first time were entring Is'lam. And there is no way anyone could have kept the text pure, even though it is oral document, except that it is written down so that it can be taught orally and can be visually referenced, another way of its teaching and learning.

2. How are we going to find the physical or historical evidence of such an event, since they did not eat, not drink, not reproduce hence they would have died off without anyone knowing whether or not they actually existed.
3. How come is'lam somehow knows more about the jews more than the jews themselves even though i'slam/mohammmed could not produce a single miracle as prove that he is not a false prophet.
