The Nigerian Security outfit is a punishment unto Nigeria, they have failed us and where they are supposed to show their professionalism that is where they fail but when it comes to intimidating an unarmed civilian and collcecting bribe that's where they have A1, they are very Good at that. Everything in Nigeria has failed even Nigeria itself its a failed country.

ReachRich: Hilarious connection of events around the
kidnap of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's mom
* Day 1: Ngozi's mother was kidnapped
* Day 2: Kidnappers made contact and
requested for $1billion to free her.

* Day 3: GEJ requested N161billion for
supplementary budget. (19 days to end the
year) $1b = N160billion
* Day 4: Senate approves $1billion for GEJ.
Day 5: Kidnappers released Ngozi's mother.
Hmm very interesting

Paying attention to only Days 2 & 4 is more like: Kidnappers made contact and requested for $1billion. Senate approves $1billion for kidnappers.

Just saying.

Tinyemeka: *** Clears throat and munches on a piece of kolanut in a manner reminiscent of Okonkwo in 'Things Fall Apart' ***

Whether the Queen Mother escaped from the kidnappers or the kidnappers escaped from the Mother Queen is talk for another day. An eighty-something year old Queen of a Mother does not run in broad daylight for nothing. It is either the Queen is after some kidnappers, or some kidnappers are after the Queen. The gods are wise!

In the meantime, no need blaming the policemen. They may have "swung into action and stormed" the hideout (yeah, yeah. They always do that). But that was after Mother Queen had fled the area rescued by Zorro riding on a keke Napep. Or is it an okada sef? undecided

I rest my case.
This got me cracking my ribs

The police will always look for a way to take the credit. It's obvious the woman was released after a ransome was paid and as a matter of fact, the important thing is that she has been released. At this point we expect the president and all security forces to comeup with strategies to stop kidnapping. So many legitimate business men have been kidnapped in benin and the south east, just because this is the mother of a minister doesn't make her different from other Nigerians. We al payour taxes and many of us have not benefitted one contract from the govt so they sold stop claiming credit and channel their energy towards securing the country.
