1, PASTOR TUNDE BAKARE: The Ogun state born pentecostal pastor was a strong opposition voice in 2012. He continued from where he stopped in 2011 as a social critic. The former presidential running mate was very active in the OccupyNigeria anti-subsidy removal protests of January 2012.

2. PROFESSOR BARTH NNAJI Nigerians are ultra critical of their governments and government officers. But one officer stood out and caught the admiration of not a few Nigerians in this period when the citizens are hopelessly caustic against their leaders. He is Professor Barth Nnaji, the immediate past minister of power. Although some issues that bordered on conflict of interest saw his exit from the position, he appears to have made enough goodwill for himself.

3, OCCUPYNIGERIA PROTESTERS It started like a joke, slicing through the social media. From twitter to facebook to BBM, the citizens spat fire, threatening to bring the country to standstill starting from January 5 2012 unless the FGN reversed the removal of subsidy on subsidized petroleum prodicts. And they did. Tagged OccupyNigeria, Nigeria witnessed what was perhaps unprecedented in recent history of the country. They got partial results.

Are these protesters our inductee-in-waiting? Or the indefatigable Pastor? Or the power man?
