1, Mallam Faruk Lawan: The once respected member of the lower chamber was expectedly a recurring nominee for this unenviable category. From the height of reverence in Nigeria's political firmament, the Kano man fell to the nadir of humiliation. Or how else can one describe the $620,000 bribery scandal that had the man at the centre?

2, President Goodluck Jonathan: The current holder of the 'dishonour' title appears set to retain it, as Nairalanders still dont appear convinced that he has done anything.

3, Prof. Chinua Achebe: The world renowned literary giant was an inch close to winning to 'Fame' category just last year for rejecting the national honour from Federal Government. But how tide turns? Nairalanders consider the octogenerian a candidate for the shame version this year, for, according to them, opening a pandora box that portends disunity for Nigeria.

Who wears the thorn-crown? I no know o

December 28 is the date.

Is this insanity or a manifestation of joblessness? One man's meat could be another man's poison. I am ashamed of some of these overzealousness exhibited by some folks here by their regular juvenile display. I would have expected the mods to be more cautious. What made Achebe's book disdainful to earn him shame?. This book just won the IOS book of 2012 and the man is among the three Africans among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2012. You see how you guys have allowed tribal card to bereave you of reasoning? This forum is not worth my 2 kobo but will continue to speak out and expose the mission of some folks here who are using this forum to serve a purpose. But before I end this, may I remind you that you could make it more merger if you allow integrity and truth to be your watch word. If you wish hide this post or ban this moniker, my arse.

Hmmmm
Let me analyse this
Farouk- People liked him but then he fell their hand with allegations of bribery lingering about him
GEJ- People still see him as the Retardeen, He doesnt need analysis
Chinua- Now this one throbs me in the head. Was once highly respected, still highly respected by most, many people seriously dont know why he decided to open a can of worms. It doesnt matter if its the truth or not. But some things are better left unsaid.
O boy! Who I go choose?! Heh! Wetin consign me? Na to dey drive my dangote cement truck dey go undecided undecided
grin grin grin grin grin grin
