Giving a graphic detail of the clash between her convoy and the governor’s security men, Senator Anyanwu said: “My day started around 9.30am when I visited the governor at the Government House on Tuesday to exchange pleasantries and he asked if I had adequate security and I said “yes” after which I left for my home town, Mbaise.”

Mrs. Anywanwu described the Governor’s action as “a misplaced show of power. The power of the state is so enormous and you don’t need to intimidate, harass or kill your people to assert your powers as a governor.

- The story definitely dosent look straight to me either, however, I believe the Senators story. I believe that the governros convoy was over-taking her convoy when Rochas noticed that she had sirens on. And in the process of pulling her convoy over, there was an accident between some vehicles in her convoy and that of the governor, which led to the beating. I also believe Rochas gave the orders to disarm her orderlies. I dont believe that the woman gave instructions to open fire. I believe she must have cursed the life out of Rochas and I believe that Rochas sat in silent approval watching whatever fracas ensued.



- Was the Law clearly spelt out?! If so, who and who constitutes those supposed to use sirens?!



- I guess he thinks the best way to deal with an accident is to act like an animal.. Typicalof the Nigerian scene.. He was so caught up in showing off his power and authority that he forgot that stopping his convoy in the middle of 'wherever' without prior preparations was putting himself in danger.



- If you believe that she would order her guards to open fire on the Governors convoy, then you must believe anything. The governors are not guarded by mere Mobile Policemen but specially trained SSS operatives, well schooled in the art of suppression and evasion. Should one security personal as much as switched the pin of his gun from safety to semi-automatic, he would be dead before he ever loaded a round into the chamber, let alone touch the trigger. This part of the story from the Government is a big lie. Even an arrogant Senator knows where their powers end.



-She knew Kidnapping was high in IMO STATE thats what prompted her to use sirens and Naval officers.. The Governor may not have been tempted.. Whatever happened, the womans story sounded more plausible.



- If you know Rochas and his antics, you wouldnt put this kind of brutish behaivior past him.. Afterall, he was the same governor that beat up a security guard who told him that the seat he wanted to seat on (which was marked) was reserved..



When you work for a boss, you study and know how to please him.. Its obvious that this kind of behaivior trills and excites Rochas thats why its on auto-repeat. His aides do it because Rochas obviously apporves of it.
