PRESIDENT Jonathan assured Nigerians, Saturday, that despite all challenges, his administration would transform the country into one of the most developed nations of the world.

Jonathan, who spoke through his Vice, Nnamadi Sambo in Abeokuta, disclosed that his government has initiated moves to transform, the education, transport, energy and health sectors, saying that Nigerians would soon see positive changes.

koruji: When you don't know what it means to be "developed" this is the kind things that come out of your mouth.
Secondary school students are failing their certificate exams at an alarming rate, and GEJ is talking about transforming Nigeria into a developed nation.
Our president seems to enjoy his own comedy.

koruji: Sorry o, nobody is blaming GEJ for secondary school failure but the unheard of level of secondary school failure Nigeria shows that doesn't know what it means to be developed.
That was my point.
GEJ and his transformation agenda are riding on high oil prices at this point but that's not how development occurs, especially when the majority of that fund ends up in personal pockets.
Go and check the correlation between education performance and development, and you will clearly see that GEJ is merely talking in his sleep!!!

People like you actually think it is trendy to cast aspersion at the president for every statement he makes. If that is how you want to score political points for your sponsors, go ahead. The man is not even 2 years old in office and has all the time in the world to make things happen so the joke is currently on you. It is only in 2015 that your statements will or will not be relevant. Good thing is, he is making good progress. He just needs to step up his game more and people like you will become really irrelevant because you have been riding on vendetta, not patriotism!
