Gone are the days
when women do get easily
married in the church..They may flirt all their
teenage/ ­youthful days out in club-houses only to
become prophetesses and church workers in the churchjust to get married….and it will work for
them. Today, if you still hold on to this, sorry.
The world has so much changed. There are
many unmarried sisters in the churches, trends now favor those in the club-houses.
Gone are the days when men go to club-houses for easy hook ups, and to Churches for a woman
to marry. Today, Men go to church for easy hook

marry from the outside world.The style we call
“convert and marry”.
Gone are the days when men use up girls in the city, dump them just to retire to remote villages to

Gone are the days when being a female graduate is anadded bonus for a reasonable
man to propose to a lady. Today, reasonable
men value illiterates and those with just O’Level
certification because of the rot in our tertiary
institutions among the feminine gender. Who
knows what she did while in school and many ex- boyfriends she gathered
Gone are the days when men rush after
independent ladies that live alone. Today small
girls between the ages of 16 to 21 that are still in
their parents/ ­guardians gets 80% proposals for marriage than those that are considered to be mature ladies. The thinking is that, who know how many men she’had slept with since she gained independence? Atleastthose under someone’s care will wary to do certain things…hahaha
Gone are the days when guys toasts women and
they keep doing shakara. Today, before you even say “hi” they have given you their final
affirmation and you can just carry go.
Gone are the days when a man only dies for one
woman and loves her desperately. Today, the
best of men is in love with more than three
women at the same time.
Gone are the days when a man must need a
woman, and a woman must need a man. Today
single parents and homosexuality is growing to
overtake the trend we once knew.
Gone are the days when people marry, have
issues and keep to their marriages till the end.
Gone are the days it’s only the worst of men
would think of divorcing his wife. Today, clerics,Ministe­rs of the Gospel are now hallmarks of divorcee…And I wonder, where have all these days gone to and when are they likely to return?
