• the rules are set in stone. referees are not always right and their decision is final. the suarez incident is not even clear-cut! the handball can be seen as intentional or unintentional. it was ball to hand not hand to ball. it could have gone either way, i think it's desperate for people to hang on to that incident as the reason liverpool won.

At the final of the '74 World Cup, it reached a time when people asked which side were the Netherland side because of the way the German side kept the ball.
