europa league is not elite europe.....it's a second tier competiton the english clubs don't care about. there's no financial motivation to play in europa league for english clubs particularly those in the title race or those fighting relegation - it's an extra piece of work. england have more domestic competitions than any other league in europe - adding europa league to the equation just tips the balance and the winner only gets €5m or £4m. what's it worth in england when relegating teams make as much as £40m?

Look if you hate EPL go and embrace a wet transformer.
