boom is when every guy in the entertainment industry in Nigeria is now
becoming a father out of wedlock. Today it's Ice Prince, tomorrow is
MayD, and next tomorrow it's Tuface or Timaya. everywhere you turn,
girls are now having babies for guys without getting married, as if they
are competing or in a race to beat their biological clock. true, true
naija no dey carry last. And its even a thing of pride to most parents
nowadays, whenever their daughter or son have a baby out of wedlock.
they hardly scold such a daughter or son these days, like they used to
do in the past. but now, its an opportunity for some parents/families to
rejoice, celebrate and also throw owambe parties for the mother and
baby. no wonder alot of single girls are now becoming baby mamas these
days...without shame but pride.

It's a trend in my area at the moment and it seems all the promiscuous girls are racing towards motherhood. Even the illiterate moin moin seller is pregnant for a semi educated shop attendant.

Some of these ladies are not promiscuous,they are victims of circumstances and are surely better than the ones who flush them down the drain. Some people learn the hard way and the lesson stays with them for life.
